- Chase Winters is an American singer from Brooklyn, NY. Raised on Michael Jackson, Fall Out Boy and even N'SYNC, he's somehow also got involved into Russian music culture.
Inspired with such Russian artists like Zemfira, Mumiy Troll, Victor Tsoy (Kino), Grazhdanskaya Oborona and others, he's started making covers to their songs.
Chase is not only singing songs in Russian, but can speak it pretty well. More than that, after covers he's now coming to writing his own songs in Russian.
Hope we can listen to them later. In this video, we may hear only covers to Mumiy Troll "Dolphins" (Мумий Тролль "Дельфины")and Civil Defense "Everything Goes According to Plan" (Гражданская Оборона "Все Идет По Плану"!

You don't have to know the language to tell he can't sing.
Despite the fairly noticeable accent, it's still head and shoulders above what Hollywood usually tries to sell as a presentable depiction of russian speak.
