Trust me when I say this, that part about talking yourself out of her being into you is as real as it gets. Was talking to someone for a week that was basically telling me everything I wanted to hear, very sexual and flirtatious. This reminds me of that one time I had an avocado tree I didn't drill any filters on the pot and the rain drowned my avocado tree. I learned a valuable lesson if you overdo it and not plan ahead what you are trying to nurture will be destroyed. Same situation as mine. We’re just older lol. I did the exact same thing, just pretty much did the no contact. I saw her at the gym and just left it at that. She followed me around the whole gym lol. I left and haven’t even texted her after the gym. But you can tell she was trying to get my attention. Bottom line, she wanted space since we were moving too fast I guess (handful of dates, make out, hold hands, spend weekends and all the cute shit). But point is, I cut the contact and that seemed to have sparked something because she’s done this 3x. She said hi to me yesterday and asked me how I was. I kept it cool and said “I need to get back to my lift, we’ll chat later. I’ll text you” and she smiled and said okay. Space is good guys!

That's very interesting, and I've seen this type of thinking in all the woman friends I had. But as a woman myself I find my relationship thinking way different that other people. I always look at potential people as a friends, only after that, as a romantic partner, but even then I think about familly, kids. It's like man's thinking but way slower and ineffective.

Respectfully, I find it difficult to even take a woman seriously that is "wishy washy". Isn't wishy washy French for unreliable, indecisive and of someone that has the habit of not following through on promises? This is EXACTLY the OPPOSITE of the stuff you need for a strong relationships or am I mistaken? I'm not being misogynistic in saying if I had a guy friend that displayed traits of someone that doesn't follow through, we won't be hanging out anymore. Do you want to be that guy that has that wishy washy girlfriend who changes her mind every 5 minutes and drives you bat shit? Why would a man hitch his wagon to that? I am not a macho guy at all, but it seems that if a woman wants me to ask her to marry her one day, she needs to get on my program, not the other way around. Being equal opportunity, I don't know of ANY woman that has asked her husband to marry her. As a veteran of the dating scene....guys if she was a flake and unreelable in the beginning....well let's say that will probably never change after she's your girlfriend or if you get married. It often gets worse once you establish that you are willing to bend to her whim, no matter how unreasonable. I could be wrong, but why even modify your approach after she displays wishy washyness? Isn't that just making things worse? Meanwhile, divorce is higher than ever, men are getting married less and less (probably because of some the observations we've made on the show) and to be frank, I can't see why a man would want to have a relationship and play all these games to get with someone that UP FRONT has established that she can't be relied upon. Been talking to a girl for 2 months now, she texts me almost daily and we had sex near 5th or 6th date. She is shy and sexually reserved, and recently said she isnt comfortable having sex and wants a relationship before doing more physically, yet says we are still talking. Her body language and the fact she is constantly giving me conpliments, holding my hand, wanting to kiss me, etc shows me she obviouslycares a lot. Do i just need to back off a bit more and not try to escalate or should i keep trying to escalate each date and see if she gets out of this mindset of planning things instead of going by feel, which she said she does?
from exprience, that girl either will block you for a relationship, and if that what you want i say go for it, otherwise, i dont like those kind of girls now, open direct girls are the best, i felt more free around them.. and they are more fun! personally if she gave such red flags of i want to stop and so on.. if it`s not a relationship that i want , i would move on to another girls.
Keep a mentally big big BIG basket where you throw your failed relationship. Learn and improved from them. With time that basket will become smaller and smaller because you are failing a little less and less . MOVE ON!!!
