When Anette was in Nightwish it was bit hard to me to accept that they chose her, but when i now listen her vocals i fully understand why she was chosen and no one else. Her vocal delivery is really great when she really gets at it. She has like multiple gears to sing. Softly, bit harder voice, etc, then at full throttle. She has a great range of power.
Apuesto a que a Nightwish le mandaron miles de demos con voces de sopranos líricas como Tarja; si escogieron a Annette es porque evidentemente querían algo diferente, algo que se percibiera como un cambio y no como si pretendieran reemplazar a Tarja. Probablemente querían evitar comparaciones muy brutales...así que mejor dejemos de comparar. A mi me gusta mucho como canta Annette incluso si no es lírica, sólo es otro estilo disfrutable :)
No se necesita la gran voz operistica para interpretar de manera magnífica y dulce este estilo de de música y Annette nos los dejo bien clarito.... Annette 😍

Yo respeto y disfruto a las 2 vocalistas, incluso a Floor que interpretó de maravilla las canciones de ambas vocalistas.

To be honest I always liked the Anette version of Everdream. Yea, Tarja was good, it was dramatic but Anette's version sounds more youthful which is what appeals to me more.

La guerra Tarja vs Anette en youtube se ha vuelto desde hace mucho tan cansina como la que hay entre el doblaje en español latino y castellano en los videos de los simpsons...Yo soy un grandisimo fan de Tarja, pero hay que admitir que sus canciones actuales distancian mucho de las que componia Tuomas. Por otra parte aunque al principio estaba en contra, adoro tambien la dulce voz de Anette, y el abuso e insultos que ha recibido y sigue recibiendo son inhumanos. Tiene el cielo ganado esa mujer.
I think I prefer Anette doing this particular song. Tarja was special in what she did but was doing just that. And on lots of songs a fresh and different approach can open a song up in a new way. In this song it really works well, Anette has a great voice. And different enough, which was exactly why Nightwish chose her. They were absolutely right. What I think I like most is that her singing suits the song very well and it does not distract from what she actually tells the listener. That is the whole purpose of the song, she doesn't over-perform, just brings the story. In a very good and pleasant way.

Nightwish es una banda única en su género la calidad es envidiable, Anette es una gran voz con un tremendo talento, si pensamos que fue escogida entre mas de 2 mil demos y que su voz fue puesta de parámetro para escuchar a las demas, que mas podemos decir, la banda no se equivocó ya lo tenian perfilado en dar un cierto cambio a nuevos sonidos jamas lo que hicieron con Anette hubiese funcionado con Tarja por lo que la banda buscaba, que las cosas no funcionaron es otra historia.

La calidad musical de Nightwish es mucho mejor que antes porque ahora graban los discos con la mejor orquesta de Londes, el sonido es mas exquisito ' lo digo porque he tenido que aprenderme algunas canciones nuevas de nightwish en mi keyboard como Storytime y the poet and the pendulum y son tan complejas que tocan Nemo o ocean soul... por eso no entiendo porque la gente dice que nightwish es de baja calidad, lo que pasa es que no quieren a la chica, cuando es una voz muy bonita.

No, this is not Nightwish, duh. I thought "demo that she sent to Nightwish to apply for the job" would make it clear that Anette wasn't in Nightwish yet when she recorded this. It was recorded by her and her previous band, Alyson Avenue, or at least members of AA if not the whole band.

i think anette sounds good here but i think this is because her band arranged the song for her,its softer than nightwish's version because anette has really sweet and soft voice . i dont like the versions of the old songs she does with nightwish because you can barely hear her voice among the other instruments cause they play for a clasical singer who has a really strong and dramatic voice wich is not anette style ,so if they wanted to play the old songs with her they shoul have arranged them

Totalmente de acuerdo...Tarja como solista tiene canciones muy buenas y su voz es prodigiosa, pero sin duda el alma de Nightwish es Tuomas, que es un genio. Sin él Tarja pierde bastante en esencia; Nightwish con Anette no pierde, tan solo cambia.

No, this is not Nightwish, duh. I thought "demo that she sent to Nightwish to apply for the job" would make it clear that Anette wasn't in Nightwish yet when she recorded this. It was recorded by her and her previous band, Alyson Avenue, or at least members of AA if not the whole band.

Gostei da versão... Anette canta muito bem, uma pena as músicas da época da Tarja não se encaixarem ao estilo vocal dela. De qualquer forma é uma cantora que gosto muito.

esta mujer canta hermoso, si escuhan la version esta a una mas actual.. se ve un crecimiento, su rango vocal aumento. le pone un estilo especial a las canciones, a mi parecer prefiero la version de ella que la de tarja... y coincido en k es estupido compararla con tarja son muy distintas...

i think anette sounds good here but i think this is because her band arranged the song for her,its softer than nightwish's version because anette has really sweet and soft voice . i dont like the versions of the old songs she does with nightwish because you can barely hear her voice among the other instruments cause they play for a clasical singer who has a really strong and dramatic voice wich is not anette style ,so if they wanted to play the old songs with her they shoul have arranged them

Totalmente de acuerdo...Tarja como solista tiene canciones muy buenas y su voz es prodigiosa, pero sin duda el alma de Nightwish es Tuomas, que es un genio. Sin él Tarja pierde bastante en esencia; Nightwish con Anette no pierde, tan solo cambia.

Tuomas nunca tuvo alguan intención de buscar una vocalista como soprano como Tarja, y Anette NO trata de cantar como ella, canta cada canción del viejo Nightwish a su estilo. Si alguien trata de cantar como Tarja y le sale mal es muy su problema, ella no lo ahce, y canta bien a su estilo.

No se pueden comparar jamás las voces de cada cual pero la realidad es esta! Nightwish con Anette, meh O.K. Nightwish con Tarja, PERFECTOS! Ellos juntos fueron los q hicieron q Nightwish se hicieran tan popular! Se hubiesen empezado con anette sinceramente no fuesen tan popular! Era el conjunto de la banda con tarja q hizo la banda tan únicos! Pero ese es solo mi opinión!
