Funny that she says that considering my dermatologist told me a very different thing: the laser kind of destroys the broken vein, the vein shrinks and then goes away via the bloodstream. A treated vein does not return however there can always appear new veins on your face which is the reason why it is good to get the laser treatment annually. I have had many laser treatments and the old veins never reappeared. I did however get new veins that I treated with laser. My English is a bit broken so hopefully this story made sense, but based on what I have been told by my dermatologist and my own experiences I don’t exactly agree with this doctor.

That's categorically not true. You can get rid of these permanently. I had them on the top of my leg and I had them burnt out and the scab dropped off and they never grew back.
@dansetteameliawilson3227 Heya, I had them removed via laser. It really hurts but it's bearable. I have a couple of the broken capillaries on my nose but I'm plucking up courage to get them done.
Facts are facts. 🤷♀️ She does say u can get Lazer, & it works great.. it's instant u should see the videos it's awesome. But they happen due to an underlying condition, so over time they come back. Some people just go in yearly for that & it helps rosacea. Just so expensive.
@@AnonymousPerson0182she is being honest. Ask people who have had treatment- they (the veins) just come back & the treatments are expensive. Much prefer honesty.
This makes me a bit sad. I have thread veins under my eyes and have heard about Thermocoagulation as a way to treat - any thoughts on it as being a permanent solution (as it is sold)?
Try retinol, i had a couple under my nose and on my cheek. It takes a long time for them to go away, i used retinol diligently for a year and they slowly faded away.

Dermatology is such a scam. Nothing is treatable and actually when electro cautery is used it permanently shuts them down once it coagulates. Problem with lasers is depth isn’t good enough and turning it up too high can damage the skin. They won’t come back with a cautery treatment and though it’s old it is the best treatment. In your opinion, it’s shell out money for a treatment which won’t be satisfactory but pay for it anyway? There are even at home devices that can yield same results as in office treatments, but of course money over anything and the easy way out. What more to expect from a dermatologist.
I honestly think you’re the worst dermatologist out there. You’re always basically saying there is no way to have good skin while walking around with flawless skin. We get it, you’re better than the rest of us. Good for you.
