I just finished chemo for breast cancer. The chemo made my skin so thin that it tears when I wasg it with a wash cloth. I'm so grateful for this video.
I have been taking Vital Proteins Collagen Advanced for 3 years. Helped my joints tremendously. Im a runner. And yes I’ve noticed mild improvements on my skin.
I take vital proteins and I haven't noticed any difference in my skin but it's definitely helped with my hair loss and has strengthened my weak brittle nails.
HI - what specifically do you take? My nails have been brittle for over 5 years and hair loss really bad now - stress a big factor - so any suggestions would be so welcomed! Thanks :)
I quit smoking, and trust me if I can do it, anyone can do it! I had been smoking since I was 12 years old, and never had any real desire to quit until I hit 35 and started to really notice the changes in my skin. I’m happy and proud to report that 2 years later my skin looks so much better, and the grey yellow tinge I once had is completely gone, and bonus* I feel so much better than I used to. If nothing else, indeed quit for vanity’s sake! you’ll thank yourself ❤
Congrats on staying smoke-free for so long! I quit almost two months ago, and it’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever done (I hope it gets easier with time). Seeing your comment gives me hope, so thank you 😊
I started using Marine Collagen from Applied Nutrition last year (it’s much cheaper than the one from Vital Proteins, I’m in the UK - not sure if it’s available in other countries) and I could see the results straight away - my hair and nails started growing at supersonic speed. Skin also improved a lot. I use one scoop a day with a glass of orange juice. Within the past 12 months this was the product helped the most, along with Vichy Lift Activ Supreme Vitamin C Brightening Serum. These two worked magic for me.

When I’m consistent with my collagen intake, my skin is less dry, more plump, and just healthier looking. I can always see a visible difference when I’m inconsistent. I’ll stick with drinking my collagen
I didn't think the powder would make a difference, but after about 5 months people around me started complimenting my skin and asking what I was doing. Including people that know skin, like my tattoo artist and botox girl. I'll never be without it now
Reminding people that it’s good for them to quit smoking is wonderful!! I really hate to see somebody go through what I did and I got lung cancer in 2019!! I had to have a lung removed. I did a radiation CyberKnife radiation so please people quit smoking. Thank you.
Not only did Vital Protein work for me as a 59 yr old but everyone thinks I’m in my early 40’s. Also, it helped with joint pain. I was wearing a hand brace every night for very bad pain, pain is gone. When I ran out of this once, and only once because that pain came right back. I will never be without it and is cheaper than a lot of other products out there. Just my opinion ❤❤❤. Also, you have to use it for longer than a few months. I’ve used it for over 5yrs. Amazing product !!!!
I’m just being honest, I’m 38 and have always taken really good care of my skin starting at age 23. I use to get Botox but stopped. This is what I use and it works for me: 1.) healthy diet, full of protein (grass fed meat, butter) healthy fats, antioxidants 2.) exercise. I walk 30-45 mins about 5 days a week and toning exercises at home. I sometimes do hot yoga classes. 3) I use tretinoin and vitamin c. 4) I don’t tan and I use mineral sunscreen. 5) I don’t smoke anything lol and I don’t drink. 6) Supplements. I do drink collagen peptides in my coffee every morning, Nutrafol and ashwaganda. I have noticed a difference adding the collagen proteins in my coffee (I added this 4 weeks ago) People think I look 28…I’ll take it. Just sharing my advice ❤
Thank you sooo much for sharing your tips!! I turned 26 this year, i started using retinol a year ago and i only started taking collagen now. Im blessed genetically, for example you have to be 18 to buy cigarette products and alcohol in our country, im trying to stop smoking so i switched to vaping and if i dont have my ID, nobody will sell me anything! They always shocked when i tell them that im 26. People around me used to laugh at me when i was 20 and everybody thought that i was 15, i got made fun of really bad by other woman. I still had a full on mental breakdown at my 26th birthday, i don't want to just rellie on my genetic predisposition, since i now benifit from it! Im truly extremely thankful for people like you who share their tips and don't gatekeep them!! ❤
Thanks for sharing (sister from another mister👀)! Have u noticed any issues after stopping botox?🥹im scared to stop but i hate needles and hate the price but i have been getting it done twice a year for the past two years and im terrified to stop
Same here! Very very similar routine. There’s mix reviews about collagen but it seems to be working for me. I take mines every morning too, with coffee!
When I started taking the vital proteins powder it made a huge difference in my skin! I'm a 55 year old guy that has never done anything to take care of my skin but tried it because my wife had some. I didn't expect anything really... I was totally blown away at how quick my skin smoothed out and the acne bumps I've had on the back of my arm my whole life went away. It was crazy. So maybe it doesn't do much for some but for me it was huge and noticeable very quickly.
I’m a woman 54 and have been taking collagen peptides for 3 years and I also see a big improvement in my skin texture and volume. Also my hair has gotten thicker, even my eyelashes. Oddly, it hasn’t done much for my nails, but I’m totally fine with that. There’s a 2023 meta analysis on hydrolyzed collagen’s effect on skin hydration and wrinkle depth that’s pretty conclusive so there’s science to back it up. It’s not your imagination.
So do I. My body feels better. I have fibromyalgia and I definitely feel better. My skin is happier. It doesn't work alone but it helps just like the berries. I don't drink. Smoke or am a sun bunny. Never have. But had a hysterectomy and that did affect me big-time. No hormones. Thank you for the great advice. I love the products suggested. Please show us a good skin routine.
You introduced me to Eucerin coq10 and I only use that now. It works for my dry skin. Doesn’t break me out. And it’s just as good as any $65 moisturizer for $12. I am a massive fan of it. Thank you for that.
Almost done with that whole vital protein collagen powder and I can say my skin looks more “glowy”, but reason why I’m taking it, is to try to prevent loose skin due to my weight loss
Dr. Idriss, I just want to say that I have noticed a huge improvement with my skin since I've been following your tips. I was at a point that I wanted to incorporate every single ingredient in my routine, and my skin had become a mess. Since I've found you, I've slimmed down my routine, almost completely eliminated HA, I use just a few key ingredients, the ones that I really think my skin needs and that work on my skin, and it has never looked and felt better. I'm learning so much from you and your no-nonsense approach to skincare. Thank you!
I use that particular collagen powder and I have noticed my skin is smoother and slightly more plump. Your skin is already flawless and wrinkle-free so you're likely not seeing a difference because you didn't really need it to begin with.
My primary doctor told me 8 months ago to start using Vital Protein collagen powder in the advance version of it, I'm 60 and I can definitely say I have seen improvement. My hair is healthier, fingernails are growing stronger, and my skin looks younger. The advance version includes Hyaluronic acid and vitamin C.
I swear by my Vital Proteins. My hair, skin, and nails are so much better when I use it. Tried stopping and definitely noticed a difference. Nails and hair became brittle again. I’m 62.
Would love to see a video on how to use these in order. I have been waiting a year to get into a derm. However, since I started following you I have improved my skin so much at home. Thank you for everything you do. :)
Yes to the video layering all these products or a simple week routine with all of these actives. Product compatibility like for example copper tripeptide with other actives mentioned. Love more product recommendations that have multiple ingredients in one for us who like a simple routine ❤ Love your vids and straightforwardness.
I got a small scar on my leg, it was red for more than half a year. But after a month of taking collagen it became whiter. So I have good experience with taking collagen products. But sunscreen actually is the most important thing.
I have been having collagen powder for almost two years now (not every single day but been through almost 3 jars now), before I was experiencing hair thinning due to unsure reasons (reached mid-twenties, diagnosed with PCO, went on pills, lifestyle changes). I felt the collagen powder made my hair noticably thicker, and made my skin feel better, less breakouts and all.
@@Ms.Pratibha first I had Dose and Co Marine Collagen, then I bought Vital Proteins, the one shown in this video. Both I got during some kind of offer from Holland and barrett. I'd say both brands are very similar dosage/concentrate wise
Please make a video about what services you do like you talked about microneedling LED therapy, PRP what other services you believe in and recommend for aging skin.
I always had trouble with sunscreen, because everything I tried (even the non-comedogenic products) seemed to make me greasy and break out. I FINALLY found one what works for me, so if you like me have very pale skin and are also prone to breakouts, I really recommend Garnier Ombrelle Face Antishine Cream SPF 60. It genuinely seems to have an effective mattifying effect, so now finally I'm wearing SPF 60 every single day. It took me until 34 years old to be doing this, which is a shame, but here we are. Also, don't forget about the power of hats! Sunday Afternoons is a good brand for hats designed to keep the sun off your face and neck. They're not cheap but you pay for quality.
Since I've watched your videos I succeeded - due to your advice - to make a melasma spot almost disappear on my cheekbone under the eye, wow! Not to mention my skin definitely looks better (I'm 47 and I was desperate a few months ago). I'll buy a microcurrent device, too. Thank you!! 🥰💗
I take collagen powder every day and I see huge improvement in my nails and joints, not as obvious in my skin and hair. However the nails and joints improvements were enough to have me continue taking it :)
Ok. So I’ve heard at least a few dermatologists say that Collagen supplements are quite effective. But they also said that the collagen should be 1) Hydrolyzed and 2) Contain peptic acids; and 3) grass fed. They have also said that we are wasting our time with topical collagen creams because the collagen isn’t small enough to penetrate the cells. I am paraphrasing because I don’t speak doctor. Lol. Would love to hear your take on this though.
dont listen to them, they advertising it.. Just read on google that there is NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that it will help your skin .. if u read it pubmed or webmd, there is scienfiic evidence that vitamin C seruma nd Retinol will help your skin ... not VITAL COLLAGEN
@@leslierosa9102 I use the tint one and I absolutely love it. It doesn’t feel heavy or tacky and it gives you a nice look. I was never heavy on makeup, I would use some foundation here and there but since I have been using this sunscreen I don’t use foundation for work anymore
Im 36 but I've always had thin transparent skin thanks to Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (genetic connective tissue disease, basically I make faulty collagen). My skin is like butter. My cat can touch me very lightly with her claws and the very top layer will flake off. My skin heals very slowly. The only thing that I've found that helps the healing is large amounts of protein and oral vitamin c.
This was so eye-opening! I had no idea that collagen production plays such a huge role in skin thinning. Dr. Idriss, you explained everything so clearly, and the tips you shared are definitely going to be part of my skincare routine now. Thanks for the valuable advice!
Thanks for another great video! Bone broth is easier for me to get down when I use it as a base for polenta, grits, or savory oatmeal. It also helps me to get my protein goals without excessive calories.
Dr Idriss, recently I found myself referring to you as "my dermatologist" when an esthetician at the beauty salon told me not to use vitamin c in the morning! Lol. Thank you for the great videos!
Hi Dr. Idriss, could you please talk about health conditions that impact collagen such as hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes, and what in-office procedures like Ulterapy, Botox and Kybela are usually recommended or counterindicated for those patients?
You need to change collagen powder brand ya habiti - It does work and I have taken mine for almost 6 months and I noticed extensive firmness in my face and body, cellulite has reduced by 80 % and it just makes your skin tone more bouncy, also my hair and nails are thicker and my skin around my knees is firmer! The collagen powder I swear by is garden of life collagen peptide. Give it a go!
I thought collagen supplements were nonsense. But I bought three months of a vegan amino acid complex because I have chronic pain and I was interested to see if it would help my muscles. (Pain patients will do anything!) Two months in and for the first time in twenty years I bought heavier dumbbells and my skin looks more plump. Part of me thinks it’s “real”, part of me thinks it’s just psychological. But I don’t care. If I’m seeing tangible results and feeling better, I’m happy to spend money on it.
@@heidikamrath1951 Hey, I get my supplements from Vegetology - the one I was talking about is Vollagen. I can’t for sure say it works wonders, but I’m happy taking it.

ISDIN is an amazing product, fairly new to the USA I think. I used to intentionally sunburn when I was young. I am paying for it now and am super careful. The ISDIN spray sunscreen is my favorite and doesn't clog my aging pores.
Dr. Idriss, Mom and I watch you every Saturday morning. We love your down-to-earth personality and practical tips. Keep telling us to get our asses out of bed because it works! Lol. ❤️
Ha! You made laugh because I totally drink bone broth- I just add some Adobo seasoning if it’s not seasoned. I definitely noticed a huge change when I started eating broccoli every day. we had an event at work- no one ate the broccoli off the trays so I froze a bunch and incorporated it into everything. What a difference. My coworkers, friends… everyone said I was glowing. That’s when I learned about Vitamin C/ Collagen connection. Amazing! Great bud as usual :-)
So a question - collagen supplementation has been shown to (in weaker studies but nonetheless) to promote wound healing in burn victims and elderly in nursing homes. Now, those studies compared to no intervention, when it would’ve been more interesting to compare to equal amounts of complete proteins, because we do know that good nutrition as a whole leads to wound healing, and protein calories malnutrition in particular hinders this process. It’s why surgeons love TPN so much despite it being sepsis in a bag. That said, do you know if there is any data of a high protein diet leading to improved skin from an aging standpoint, not the fancy collagens (hydrolyzed or whatever they advertise), but overall high protein diet of complete protein sources? Love your videos. You’re so good at educating people about skin care. I got my mom watching you and she recently bought your major fade moisturizer, and is in love. I’m planning to get it once I use up my current stuff.
Sepsis in a bag 😅 what a phrase. Nursing home residents often are pretty malnourished and Burns victims are loosing extra protein if they have large wounds so often have low albumin. So I'm guessing both benefit from any amino acid source.
Been consistently taking vital proteins for 5 years. Not sure if it’s helping my skin collagen or if it’s my skin routine. But it definitely helps with my joint pain, hair and nails. If I don’t take it and I go running or do an intense workout my body doesn’t recover as fast. My lash artist asked me what serum I use for my lashes I told her none. So I think it’s the vital proteins.
Dr. Idriss, in my opinion, taking collagen WITH BEEF OR LAMB in the diet has made my skin beautiful. I decided to take photos and stop taking the collagen and the broths/foods and my skin just looked sad after stopping it. The other thing is hydration, obviously. I also consume a lot of lemon, eggs etc. So imo, the supplement just boosts what the food does.
Could you make a product review of the well known hungarian brand Geek&Gorgoeus? Many of us viewers living in Europe dont have access to most of the products mentioned in your videos. So geek&gorgeous seems to be the thing for clean, simple and high quality over the counter products. Especially i would be interested in your opinion about their: - Retinols -Vitamin C Serum -Happier Barrier Moisturizer - Glycolic Acid Would be great thanks!
One more question…I’m 64 with a family history of cancer. It’s my understanding that EGF promotes growth of all cells where it’s applied. I’ve been concerned about using EGF because I don’t want an acceleration of skin cancer if I should happen to have a few skin cancer cells here and there. I baked in the sun during my childhood and through my twenties so I know I’ve had plenty of sun damage. No skin cancers yet, but we’re talking at a cellular level. Your thoughts about this?

I asked my dietician about collagen powders and she said that studies have shown with long term use, it can prevent wrinkle formation as well as helps with bone/joint strength. I’ve been using collagen powder for almost 1 year, I don’t necessarily see a difference but I’m 28 soooo might be a while before it proves useful for me
This video was incredibly informative and helpful. I will be watching it again to absorb as much as possible. And - Yes Please to a video about how to use these products together. You can never do too many of those videos, in my opinion.
Wow this Allies of Skin serum has some great ingredients in it! Really consolidates products.... Antioxidants ceramides vitamin c peptides.... I'm trying that out. Thanks for the recommendation Dr Idriss! I've never even heard of them!
A few months ago I started using Vital Proteins during my work week for my hair and nails [side effect of malnutrition due to meds for DIABETES], I just stick two tbsps in my drink daily. A few weeks ago, i noticed that while climbing the 29 steep stairs to get to work each day, my knee stopped popping and hurting! My nails are coming back, as is my hair [I've been getting compliments on my hair looking fuller!] but I've also been doing scalp massage and using castor oil. I'ma keep taking it just in case. LOL
Just wanted to say that I found this video very informative. Learned things I never knew, and I like to think that I’m a skin expert ( not professionally.) your explanation of how to prevent collagen loss was so good! Thank you so much,
Gosh now I need to know how to use this in order and which days etc. A routine but for this video. Sunscreen every day I get, but what about using everything every day? An example. Can I use retinoids, peptides, glycolic acid , niacinamide and red light therapy at the same time? Same day? In what order. Dr. Idriss Haaaalllpppp!
I have lupus which can be triggered by light or heat. Therefore, red light therapy doesn't sound safe for me. I was actually hoping that taking collagen peptides could improve bone density (even a little bit) and maybe provide a little benefit for my skin as well.
I don’t think you’re in the age bracket yet (over 50), or in the tissue disease bracket (IBS, arthritis, and other connective tissue diseases) to see notably visible skin results and/or joint and GI tract benefits from consuming hydrolyzed collagen supplements. Save buying collagen peptides for after you turn 50 or if you have any connective tissue diseases (for the latter, also adding chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid can help).
I agree! Once you get to a certain age, the collagen powders really work. Just like eye creams. Don't really make sense under 40 but once you hit a certain age, eye creams make a difference.😉
@@mallorygraf8574yes and too young or overuse can present more problems than it solves... A little bit is fine younger than 50 but too much can be a serious problem

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on collagen. Waiting for your take on estrogen creams for postmenopausal women. I think there is some evidence for estriol and estradiol to support collagen production.
Hi Dr. Idriss, can you do a video/shorts on the difference in using LED panel vs mask.. ? Having a panel can have more benefits on the skin since it covers more body surface? Also, curious if it is a LED panel in the background? I like the bathroom as backdrop since it’s much brighter! 😊
This is the first video I watch from your RUclips channel, I came here from TikTok and the subject of Collagen was really interesting to me, and you just never disappoint you really explained things and gave us a great overview . I just love you you’re amazing keep doing what you do ❤️
I have been using vital protein powder for two years now. Have tried others. Have done a ton of research. It has and is serving me well for both skin and nails and joints. I take a scoop or two each morning in my sugarless coffee after drinking two glasses of water with sugarless vitamin C and electrolytes.
I've taken Vital Proteins for a year or so & have seen some positive differences. However, I do think I'm going to search for another brand. It used be that a serving was 2 scoops. At some point, they quietly changed it to 4 Tablespoons. That's a minimum of 3 SCOOPS!! I feel that's deceitful business practice. When I called the company, she assured me that 2 Tablespoons = 1 scoop. I told her that as we spoke, I was measuring & that 2 Tablespoons overflowed the scoop by about another 1/2 scoop! It's very hard to gag down 4 Tablespoons in any drink!
Thank you! Collagen does not help improve skin or nails or hair. People keep saying it does, but I've been using it for 8 years and it does not help with any of those. BUT -- it does do wonders for your joints. As you age and your joints start to stiffen up, you get a bit creaky. Collagen absolutely does help with joint issues. At 75 I love it! I've stopped taking it a couple of times, and within a few weeks, I start to feel a bit of stiffness so I order more collagen powder. But that's it -- joints only. The rest is all in people's imaginations. Nothing is funnier to me when someone says if I skip it for a week, my hair looks awful. Really? Our minds are wondrous things. Thank you. I've just recently discovered your videos and they are very informative with no annoying filler.
@@PassionPno I don't know anyone who has been using collagen long term who notices any difference except in their joints. From about 35 to my age. Just joints. Now I've recently been told that it's Verisol Collagen that will make a difference so I switched to that last month -- waiting to see if it improve other things, like skin, hair, nails. Waiting. I think the placebo effect plays a huge part in the results people see, or what they believe they see.
The collagen powder has helped my nails a lot. I'm 78 and have all the skin breakdowns you mentioned, so the powder may have more benefit for the aged than the younger ladies.
Vital proteins is more of a protein powder. There are other hydrolyzed collagen powders with a lot of amino acids that actually work. One I've been using is the Beyond Collagen from Live Conscious.
I'm happy you got that ISDIN sponsorship!! You've been promoting them even before that. I want to point out that drinking bone broth by itself sounds nasty but as a soup base it can be really delicious. Just throw in some garlic, ginger, and some veggies and it can be really yummy! Another thing I wanted to mention is that I have tried microneedling before and heavily agree that I do not trust myself with poking needles into my face. I would much rather get it professionally done.
Yes I use this same Collagen Powder and the collagen cream. I have been applying the L'Oreal cream for a while and I can see improvement on my forehead , neck and chest area. I haven't found the ISDIN brand but will keep looking . For sure lemons and limes are helpful to the skin, me I drink warm lemon water every morning.
Thank you for helping us ladies with our skin issues. I've never been recommended to see a dermatologist by my doctor before. I've seen so many other specialists but to me I feel like skincare issues are often unnecessary burden to bring up. Thank you for this!! Love your channel and you too angel. 🥰
Same! I’m 66 and have lip lines as if I was a two pack a dayer. I’ve done substantial remodeling of my skin since I found Dr. Idriss and other derms online, but these lip lines are tough. 😮
I take dose and co collagen powder and if I run out I notice a difference in my skin in couple of weeks, it becomes more sallow and loses the glow. I take it for my hair, but most noticeable difference is in my skin. I'm 42 years old.

Dr Marie Claire swears by collagen for us/me pre/post menopausal women.Thank for for this comment.,,🥰🥰
I’m just being honest, I’m 38 and have always taken really good care of my skin starting at age 23. I use to get Botox but stopped. This is what I use and it works for me:
1.) healthy diet, full of protein (grass fed meat, butter) healthy fats, antioxidants
2.) exercise.
I have noticed a difference adding the collagen proteins in my coffee (I added this 4 weeks ago)
People think I look 28…I’ll take it.
@@morkawlanamk2319 you’re welcome! My advice will work, promise! 😉
Thanks for sharing (sister from another mister👀)! Have u noticed any issues after stopping botox?🥹im scared to stop but i hate needles and hate the price but i have been getting it done twice a year for the past two years and im terrified to stop
@@morkawlanamk2319 Vaping isn’t good for your lungs either. Maybe try joining a support group or try using gum to chew during “smoking time “.
It helped me too. Helped clear up the KP on my arms
@@teadororudywhat brand of collagen do you take?
When I’m consistent with collagen intake, I definitely notice a difference in my skin (more hydrated, softer).
My doctor says that collagen powder does not improve the skin directly, but improves gut health, and a good gut health reflects on the skin :)
I imagine it does! After all is a protien aid that's a building block for everything.
Omg same me too. The skin literally feels more plump and glowy
My joints and body feel so much better on collagen, it’s a game changer. Mix a scoop on my coffee every morning. If I skip a few days, I feel achy.
You introduced me to Eucerin coq10 and I only use that now. It works for my dry skin. Doesn’t break me out. And it’s just as good as any $65 moisturizer for $12. I am a massive fan of it. Thank you for that.
I love that moisturizer. I use it morning and night. Definitely a difference maker.
Where are you using it? face or body?
@@susanfarmer22 I use it on my face, neck and tatas. Hope this helps!😊 …don’t forget your ears.😉
Thank you!
Yes please, video about how to layer these products, and when to use throughout the day/week.
I use that particular collagen powder and I have noticed my skin is smoother and slightly more plump. Your skin is already flawless and wrinkle-free so you're likely not seeing a difference because you didn't really need it to begin with.
My thoughts exactly - I was wondering what improvement she could possibly see to already flawless skin
Thank you so much for the information. I am 75, retired esthetician and I really appreciate all of your education.
Thanks! Your videos have seriously helped me so much. I love your simplicity, delivery and passion. I come back to your lessons often. Thank you!!

There’s even a uv index of 2 in a cold cloudy country. However it would be interesting to know how much of a difference this really does
I disagree about the collagen peptide powder, i really notice a difference when I take it
Yes to the video layering all these products or a simple week routine with all of these actives. Product compatibility like for example copper tripeptide with other actives mentioned. Love more product recommendations that have multiple ingredients in one for us who like a simple routine ❤ Love your vids and straightforwardness.
I have experienced improvements in joint health with the collagen powder.
I have taken that collagen off and on and with weeks of taking I notice a major difference in my skin. A really big difference, and others notice too.
please do a video on contact dermatitis and healing hyperpigmentation! love all your videos
Q: are CoQ10 supplements worth it.
I love that Eucerin CoQ10.

I love Isdin Eryfotona Ageless . That’s my go to sunscreen, specially if I don’t wear makeup, your skin looks flawless with this sunscreen.

Do you take protein supplements? or just increase your daily protein intake? EDS here too.
Which oral vitamin C do you take?
This was so eye-opening! I had no idea that collagen production plays such a huge role in skin thinning. Dr. Idriss, you explained everything so clearly, and the tips you shared are definitely going to be part of my skincare routine now. Thanks for the valuable advice!

What is the name of your vegan amino acid complex? I take Biosil and really like it, but am always open to trying something new.

My lash artist asked me what serum
I use for my lashes I told her none.
Especially i would be interested in your opinion about their:
- Retinols
-Vitamin C Serum
-Happier Barrier Moisturizer
- Glycolic Acid
Would be great thanks!

Wow this Allies of Skin serum has some great ingredients in it! Really consolidates products.... Antioxidants ceramides vitamin c peptides.... I'm trying that out. Thanks for the recommendation Dr Idriss! I've never even heard of them!
What about taking CoQ10 supplements orally rather than topical??
It's probably a good idea in general after a certain age. It helps teeth become less loose, and I'm sure it has other benefits as well.
In my experience, C serum by Cellex C, very strong and pricey, and retinols (retinol at night, C during the day) will show results quickly.
LOL
I've been taking collagen dipeptide for couple years. It helps more on growing hair but less on skin.
Hi Dr Idriss! Thanks so much for the information you provide, I’m still on my journey to better skin.

I told her that as we spoke, I was measuring & that 2 Tablespoons
overflowed the scoop by about another 1/2 scoop!
It's very hard to gag down 4 Tablespoons
in any drink!

This was really helpful! I’d love a video on how to add these different types of products into a skincare routine!
That is because you’re 75. Your body will supply collagen to the places needed the most, which are your joints.
