I'm a registered dietitian so it doesn't matter if some people are annoyed at your introduction. OWN that degree girl! Over half of my job is busting myths people heard on the internet from opinionated people with no human nutrition education. You do you boo! You have mad respect and appreciation from those of us wanting to know the science and what really works.
You don’t have to be a registered dietitian to be an expert on Nutrition and health. I spend at least a couple of hours a day doing research on health and wellness and reading research and studies and clinical trials and have 19 years of experience in health and wellness and know what Truly works. I don’t depend on legacy media for health as they are wrong most of the time; I go directly to the actual studies and read through the data as conclusions don’t always align with the real and actual data (the corruption in conclusion of studies and the fact that there are many studies aren’t independent is a whole other can of worms I won’t get into right now). I’ve been between 115lbs and 125 lbs all my adult life except when pregnant and my blood work is good. I was able to REVERSE Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis I got in my mid-twenties from so called health advice I was told in my early twenties. I used only natural and holistic therapies! I will never listen to an obese registered dietitian as there is absolutely no way that an obese person is healthy and knows what they are talking about. I know of many normal weight older women that have Registered dietitians come visit them and try to “teach” them how to “eat healthy”. In no logical and sound way is an obese person a Registered Dietitian who knows what works to be healthy.
Can described how much I respect your degree and job in the times when every other fitness guru/influencer calls themselves ‘nutritionists’ over something they learned online in a few months
Your audience includes me, a 73 y/o grandmother who greatly appreciates your careful and comprehensive explanations about what happens to our face as we age, and about how to care for our skin properly. I never miss your videos, and both my daughters (54, 51) don’t either. Thank you thank you thank you.
I for one appreciate you letting us know you are A BOARD CERTIFIED DERM! Your knowledge you share on here took you years of study and you share it free! So thank you
I definitely agree!! I’m really grateful for the all the time/debt etc…to get your degree and that you are so giving to share information with us!! You’ve definitely helped my skin care 💓
I for one appreciate you letting us know you are A BOARD CERTIFIED DERM! I am a nurse, I graduated with my bachelors. I am very proud of it and like sharing it just as you are with your degree. I think its healthy to be proud of your accomplishments. I really like your videos.
You're so amazing for spending all that time and energy on being a board certified dermatologist and going on the internet to educate others. This means so much to me who don't have the means to go to dermatologists' appointments.
Thank you for all the info! First, You should be proud of achieving being a board certified deem. Lots of time that most aren’t willing to invest, and yes, MONEY (education is expensive). I’m a 57yo who had horrible acne as a teen and mist of my adult years, until about my early 40’s when it finally cleared up. I figured I’m going to take the best care of my skin than I possibly can now that it’s cleared. The result…I commonly get taken first 10-15 yrs younger. I’m happy to hear that good skincare and maybe a divine or two can help. I’ll never do extraordinary options. It’s just not me. Thank you for all the info and help. And yes, sunscreen every single day for the past 10 years (wish I would have started that step sooner).
As for hair thinning, I’m 53 & started using a flexible REDLIGHT/INFRAREDLIGHT device on my scalp about 7-8 months ago. My hairstylist pointed out to me NEW GROWTH…this device has done more for my hair than any vitamins I’ve ever tried😊
@@Ana-qe5vt hi! I bought from Amazon. It’s a white solid face mask with a neck piece. It comes in a yellow/gold box with a white lid that says led beauty mask. It was 70$ aus dollars. Works just as good as a $700 flexi mask.
She's right skincare does not do anything a real waste of money people selling products knowing it will not work only masking the problem I have sag on my neck wearing turtlenecks wished I knew a way to address this without expensive procedures and some chin and forehead wrinkles at 66 I unfortunately had a lot of sun exposure in my day wearing sunscreen and sunglasses everyday now!
You didn't lose me after 16 minutes, lol. Holy moly, it's complicated trying to navigate through what's the best thing to do. I've noticed SOOOO many changes in my skin and hair, especially in the last 3 or 4 years. Mainly I'm trying to embrace the ageing process, because it is indeed a privilege to grow old, but putting my best face ( and hair, and attitude) forward. Thank you! You're my favorite content creator!
It’s very rare to come past good people on this platform - and you my friend are a good egg! I love how genuine you are about your profession and skincare - I love that you haven’t made your platform about brand deals but instead have used this platform to educate the masses on how to take care of the biggest organ of our body. Your advice has helped me so much with my skin health!! My skin is 100 times better than what it was prior to watching your videos! Please keep up the amazing work and just know that all the effort you’ve put into this community does not go unnoticed.. I cannot wait for pillow talk derm to become available in 🇦🇺!!! Thank you again for taking time out of your very busy life to come on here and educate us and more importantly make us laugh and smile 😊 😊 💕
This!!!!!!! So many are just 'amazon suggested' mouthpieces for trendy products. She introduces us to the products that she takes herself, and others that she backs with her hard earned knowledge. I just love her 😍 ❤️ 💕
I am 40+ yrs old and am trying to “age gracefully”. I have used as good of skincare as I could afford and with my current knowledge and had have time for consistently about 15 years. It has not been an easy journey for me. I just had my first Morpheus treatment and have done no fillers but regular use of new face and can only treat myself to Botox 1 or 2 X a year. I do think these things have helped. This video is the BEST explanation of skin treatment I have watched. Thank you. My favorite board certified dermatologist on social ❤️
What a great video, I just discovered you! The sagging I saw last month seemed to happen overnight, and I'm 53 yrs old, which was about 9 months after my hair noticeably thinned.
God bless you. Your sincerity is palpable. Yesterday an esthetician try to sell me a laser package. I went home and researched and decided not to take that option. Instead I’ll have a dermatologist whom I trust deal with my hyperpigmentation, some rosecea and aging face.
I am 57 and can’t thank you enough for the information you impart . Your genuine concern is felt . Your clients are lucky to have you as a board certified derm . Much love from 🇮🇳
This IS the video I have been waiting for so long!!! Finally, a doctor explaining complicated in-office procedures in a simple yet detailed enough way!! Thank you, Dr. İdris!
Thank you for summing up all of these treatments in such a simplistic and easily understandable way. I truly feel way less confused now. Actually, I had a consultation with a well-known med spa concerning Ultherapy and they immediately began throwing fillers at me. There seemed no concern for what would work specifically for my face, but instead a "one size fits all" approach. Thank you so much, Dr. Idriss!
85% of the reason I stayed and watched your video for the first time was because you said board certified. It really matters! There is too much information out there so to know that you are indeed a reliable source is everything. Also, the other 15% is better you are enjoyable to watch. Ps, your under eye Depuffer is amazing and I show it to all my friends.
I am 73 years old. I do not have any wrinkles. I have been using prescription Trentinoin ( beginning with the lowest form, to now 0.1%). I jave been using this product consistently for about 30 years (JAMA). I do have a bit of sagging jawline and under-eye bags….I hide them with eyeglasses😊. Prior to a simple gastroenterology procedure, I heard the physician ask the nursing staff if I look my age…. They all replied “NO”. I then said “I know”. …they then gave me more anesthesia. Later an RN came in and asked me what I use. I explained a pea size tretinoin…then dab glycerin, when the tretinoin had settled down. TRETINOIN IS TRULY A REMARKABLE PRESCRIPTION PRODUCT….for me. Thought I would share.
Thank you for sharing. I am 58, post chemo I look 10 years older. Been thinking about it. Need to start with retinol products first. I am terrible about taking care of myself in any routine way so I need to establish a routine first.
@@CopingwithGrattitude Just do this. Morning: 1. Wash your face with “no sodium laurel sulfate” . 2. Use a moisturizer (ex: Cetiphil). 3. Put on sunscreen…..DONE! Night: 1. Wash face. 2. Use your chosen retinol. 3. Apply Glycerin……DONE! DO THIS FOREVER 😃
I’m so grateful for sharing your voice as a board certified dermatologist. I’m also so grateful for you for being a real person and not being afraid of calling out bullshit where it exists.
Dr. Idriss - thank you for your statement about MISINFORMATION!! I am a proud board certified healthcare practitioner (pediatric dentist) and yes, you should be proud of your hard work and dedication!! Thank you for sharing your medical knowledge and expertise on dermatology. It's mind boggling to me how much the public want to believe a random person on the Internet vs. a physician or a health care provider. Love your videos!!
I haven't even watched all of the video, but I already liked it because the fact that you are "board certified" is so important!!! Too many of us get misinformation from social media and it's critical to get accurate information. Thank you for taking 12 years of your life and continuing your education to be the best dermatologist you can be. Have a great week! :)
Excellent information thank you. I also have been having hyaluronic acid filler twice a year since I was 62 and in the same areas as you, it has worked very well for me and now at 70 I have little to no sagging in my face and I have never had the undesirable 'puffy face' look. A person whom I worked with when I was 22 (and I have not seen since that time) recognised me earlier this year and said that I looked so good for my age, you can't get any better outcome than that.
One reason I watch your videos is bc you are a board certified dermatologist! I didn’t even know derms had RUclips channels and I was led astray by a skinfluencer. You are now my ride or die! And this video is greatly appreciated by me.
@@BoricuaGirl69 it’s true. I assumed that bc we were if a similar age, she did tons of research, and she looked amazing, the same things would work for me. It led to the worst acne breakout of my life, so bad it scarred my cheeks. I’ve never had acne scarring. My skin was flaking, tomato red and ENRAGED! I fell for the purging lie and just kept waiting for it to end until I saw Dr. Idriss’s video on it the purging lie. That’s what prompted me to cut back to just gentle cleansing and moisturizing and it slowly improved. And to stop following skinfluencers. They may do research and be knowledgeable, but that does not replace a medical degree, residency, and fellowship. Not to mention years of patient experience! Lesson learned the very hardest way.
I am 57 and I can’t thank you enough for the comprehensive information you impart . Your actual concern for your audience is felt . Your clients are lucky to have you as their board certified derm . Much love from India.
Too many self proclaimed skin experts on social media. Never annoyed with you stating your credentials I am a believer That being said there are some dermatologists on line that I don’t trust
Couldn’t agree more!! - many of the top skincare creators on this platform don’t have any sought of skincare training or education - they pretty much just spew out the popular narrative without any knowledge on whether what they are saying is true or not.. I love the fact that up front that Dr Shereene tells us her credentials! She worked very hard for it clearly!
I flipping love your “aging or dead” ethos, it reminds me to embrace it rather than mourn what is no more or waste energy beating myself up for not looking after myself better before I knew better. Onwards and upwards! Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤
Loved your intro on this video! You absolutely should be proud of all of your hard work and dedication in becoming a board certified dermatologist! In the medical community board certification means everything! Your videos are phenomenal! I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned and benefited from your expertise and wisdom! Thank you for all that you do!
@Dr. Shereene Idriss As a skincare junkie who is interested in the science of ingredients and a health professional ( in the pharmacy sector, compounding creams etc), you have now become my go to for skin care research. Your videos are engaging, interesting and you explain things in a simple manner, concisely stating the truth. Thank you🤗
Thank you, Dr. Idriss😊. I have learned a lot from your videos. The reality of aging. What is BS and what can truly help my 60 year old face. I just want to look and feel the best I can and realistic expectations. I will never look 30, 40, 50 years old again. But I can look great at 60! Again, with a realistic view. I sincerely thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Love your channel Dr. Idriss, your content is so informative and helpful. I'm 64, never had any fillers or plastic surgery and just take really good care of my self, body, skin, etc. I also lift heavy weights and that has made a huge difference in my body composition and general youthful feeling.
I know you will probably never see this , but I bought an Omnilux & used it regularly for about a month. Then I noticed my melasma was getting darker. So I quit. Just my experience ….🤷♀️. Love your channel! It is full of good info. And I love Nutrafol also! It has taken me about 9 months to see growth ( but I am old!).
Omg thank you for writing. I never had darker blotches on my face until I started led. Suddenly I’m noticing them so I stopped. Things that everyone uses don’t seem to be good for me. Life lesson there. Also thank you for mentioning nutrafol, I just started my 3rd bottle. My doctor also put me on a low dose of oral minoxidil, it’s supposed to really help too. Thank you again.
I watch you because you are a board certified MD. without that I would not be comfortable taking your advice without extra exploration. There are too many quacks on youtube and your credentials makes you stand out and be a reliable and trustworthy source. You should be proud of the 12 year it took you. Thank you for sharing your info freely. Today I learned the suntan scaring I could never get rid of, is melasma, thanks to you!!
Actually, when you watch Cosmetic Surgeons ( they also have RUclips channels) you learn a loooot about the unavoidable skin aging process and how it will affect people randomly ( genetic) or not. They talk about bone structures, how it changes when aging and why some will not change as much; but also the change in face muscles, fat nose.... It's very interesting
Hello I've been wearing the Oralift facial device for 2 years and been following the schedule consistently. It has tightened my jawline and lifted my cheekbones. It is not like having surgery but I have definitely aged backwards somewhat. This little device which looks like a mouthguard is AMAZING!!
@@jowiens32 I didn't take before and after pictures. The results after 2 years are noticeable. So noticeable I don't need a picture to see the difference. Prior to using the Oralift my chin was starting to recede, my jowls were getting heavier and my cheeks were flattening and starting to droop. After 2 years of wearing Oralift my chin is no longer receding, my jowls are less heavy and my cheeks are more lifted. I don't know how this thing works but it does. I'm not sure why it isn't more popular. It's so easy to use. I think devices like microcurrent really are a waste of time. Oralift is way better! absolutely!!
I have also been using the Oralift. Not as long as you but I already see a difference. It's a great, inexpensive way to tighten the jawline and also helps to lift the eye area. Love it so much that I have now started using it two months on and two months off.
Telling us the hard truth! The inevitable aging. Lots of great information in here. I don’t like the sagging and the loss of the fat pad in my under eyes. The fine lines don’t bother me. I’m worried about making the right treatment choice and finding the right provider. This all helps. Being armed with information is always a good idea.
Since I started watching your videos (I think it's been 3 months), my decision-making has become much more efficient. After a year of investing in my skin health, I've noticed a significant improvement in the last 2 months, and I now have a long-term idea of what to expect, depending on how my skin responds to each step (which has also helped with my anxiety problem). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your knowledge.
Hell yeah! You should be extremely proud you worked your butt off! The main reason why I started watching you is because you our board certified! I appreciate you!!!
I may not have known and would not have watched if you had not said you’re board certified. I don’t follow advice even on youtube from anyone who is not. So I appreciate that you say it every time.
You certainly earned that Board Certification and glad to see you displaying it proudly 👏🏻 “the alternative to aging is death” 😂 well said! We all need to embrace it ❤ easier said than done, I know.
Somewhat newer subscriber that has binge watched dozens of your videos bc I’m obsessed with all things skin - I am actually so happy that you are board certified! I love your knowledge and all the info you share with us for free! You answer questions and provide insight on things that I’d just love to pick a dermatologist’s brain about. Keep doing what you do!❤
38 years old this year and I really appreciate your videos!! Finally found source of information for my age group!! It was so frustrating watching vids from 20 something year olds talking about things they had no idea about - because they didn’t experience it.. yet!! And Girl! Say you have qualifications at the beginning, middle and end of the videos! Be proud! You’ve earned it! Thanks again! Amazing work! ❤
I was annoyed with the comment saying they were annoyed. 😂 I'm fairly new to your channel and appreciated the introduction because I knew your advice would actually be helpful and safe. 🤗 Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. ❤️
I bought a TENS machine 20 years ago and use it on my face everyday. My eyebrows have never shifted off the brow bone and although the malar fat pad has descended to the jowls I haven't developed any of the other sagging associated with ageing. If you don't want to spend hundreds on microcurrent devices, buy a TENS for $50. It's the exact same thing and does the exact same job.
I love when you give the example like that picture in your office to stand back and look at the overall look of your face and how important the consistency of the color on your face is vs. staring at your face like through a magnifying glass. I know for me so many times I'm focused on this that or the other thing. And then I run into people and they are like. Wow, your skin looks so great. It looks so much younger etc and I. Begin to realize that i'm looking into a different face than other people are because i'm hyper focused on the flaws.
I love how real she is. She’s also the whole package, smart, beautiful, well spoken, funny, down to earth, just perfect in my eyes. Thank you for the videos Dr. Idriss! ❤
You are the voice of reason in the panic-driven world of misinformation, let alone the emotional world of cosmetics and empowered aging. What a silly comment to resent your qualifications to give the best advice. You truly care and you are deeply appreciated! Edit: I do have a question about targeting **specific** problem areas (let me know if I should be looking in your post history for some of this). I understand that many treatments aren’t good all-over solutions, but what are they **best** for? For example: I just turned 40 and I’ve always taken very good care of my skin, but that is not going to stop my large-bridged Persian/Sicilian nose from getting lower and lower. Threading willy nilly all over is not recommended, but I like to imagine that maybe threading could lift the tip of my nose, which sounds better to me, and perhaps more natural, than slicing or paralyzing anything. And in truth, I really want all the most natural looking nose tricks! Lol, I don’t want to get a nose job like most of the Middle Eastern babes I know.
Thank you for explaining all the different types of fillers that are used. I had no idea I can be much more informed when I decide to go for it, and I won’t be afraid to ask the right questions. Thanks for your honesty.
Making sure you was a dermatologist was the 1st thing I was looking for. Thank you so much for letting us know. I don't want advice on skincare from just anyone.
Nope! I’m 70 and glad to be alive and sagging all over the place. As a granny let me say that the reason I’m not upset to be sagging is that I HAD MY DAY INTHE SUN and I ENJOYED every moment. Go out and strut your stuff ladies. Have some fun.
I can have fun in the sun and also put some sunscreen and a hat on. The sun isn't what it used to be, and skin cancer isn't fun. Also I'd rather take care of my skin and look better? Sue me for being vain I guess
This is wonderful! I so appreciate your expertise to demystify all the various options. I am sticking to skincare, home devices (full-body LED at the moment), and lots if sunscreen fir the moment, but it's very helpful to know of the options that exist for the future. I appreciate how thorough you are, and how well you explain everything. 💜
Shereene, I love your personality so much...I see you as honest, direct, powerful, kind, warm, confident, humble, knowledgeable, playful, caring... you have SO MUCH going on for you. Thank you for sharing yourself with us!!
Thank you so much for taking your personal time and teaching us. I am at a point where I am starting to think about these things and find your knowledge useful. I also appreciate how much time you spend discussing them. When in office, I sometimes feel rushed. Again, thanks. NanZ
I'm glad you introduce yourself as a board certified dermatologist every week so that new people know who you are and that you're a rich and credible source of knowledge about how skin works and also skin care products.
My son suffers from uneven skin due to acne scarring. He watches a lot of TikToks looking for skincare tips and tricks. I told him to ONLY follow the advice of a board certified dermatologist.
So glad you usually tell us you’re a Board Certified Dermatologist. You are so right about all the misinformation out there. Love your videos. Keep it up. 🎉
Hi, I’m a happy , healthy , fit and thinning 68 year old . Really noticed hair thinning 5 years ago. Tried many different hair products and pills. Very little change. I read up on the nutrafol and it says for between ages 18- 44 . 😢 Love your advice and share your channel with with all my friends
Am I the only person wishing Dr. Idriss lived closer???? I would love her to treat me, but other doctors (in Spain) I am super afraid... already had 2 really bad experiences with chemical peelings, surgeons trying to sell me surgeries I did not want and aestheticians pushing me to plump my lips with fillers -which i never wanted. It feels everybody wants just to push on sales, without caring about what bothers us and what we like about us.... 100% sure if I ever get to go to the USA I'll get an appointment with her!!!
I’m 55 and aging really started for me at age 50 (thanks menopause). I’m thankful for my great genes, but now aging has become a reality. It’s hard. I don’t want a facelift, but my eye hollows, fat pads, and sagging jowls are bumming me primarily because I looked much younger than my actual age for the majority of my life.
Your blouse is beautiful!! I love the colors. I'm 66 and have some catching up to do with getting my sagging under control. Thank you for the great information 😊
Keep saying you're a Board Certified Derm! Yell it from the rooftops! You earned it and it makes a difference who I, and most other people, take their advice from. I appreciate all of your advice!
Girl I’m 28🙋🏾♀️ but nursing school is making me look like I’m 33 😂😭 & you better say you’re a board certified derm 👏🏾 best believe in two years I’m going to have BSN posted everywhere ✨
I am very happy to be assured you are a board certified Dermatologist!! And well done, yes, many years of hard work to get there! On top of that you are so informative and OMG, you are entertaining!! Thank you for all those things!
You didn't lose us. I actually will probably watch again with a notebook! Thanks so much. Stand on business and continue to introduce yourself with ur credentials! Not all of us are so judgemental. When you mentioned your credentials it made me not scroll away. Cheers!
Thank you for this in depth explanation of different treatments for sagging jowls in particular. I'm a retired RN & love that you break down the science of these treatments so that anyone can understand. I'm now 76 years young & have recently applied your PillowTalkDerm Skin Care Routine. I love that I now have an exact routine & I believe I have less redness on my cheeks. I've been using your treatment for only a couple months now and I'm ready to re-order. The routine is simple to follow and I am enjoying my "old skin" now. Thank you, Dr. Shereene Idriss, board certified dermatologist! Woo Hoo.
One hundred percent agree with this. I want to know that you actually have credentials. I applaud your hard work and your blood, sweat and tears. The only people that get irritated by that is people that are envious or anti-education. Brother for you. I don’t want some RUclips influencer that got their disinformation or misinformation off of a cereal box telling me what’s good for my skin and hair.
I too appreciate knowing your credentials. It matters. I am 61 and love your channel. I've learned a lot and have seen improvements in the over health of my skin senses following you. You have a very healthy and wonderful view on aging. I like that you stated it's inevitable. My goal isn't to look younger, it's to be has healthy as I can be, and this includes my largest organ, my skin. About five years ago I introduced a mouth exercise ball into my face work out. It has really helped tighten up my jowls and jaw line and while the muscles along the jaw do get bigger it doesn't have the same lifting as fillers. I'm looking at getting a full body treatment with the dual wave form Titan laser. I'm carouse to know what you think about the Titan laser and if the dual wave form will help minimize felt melting?
Every day I watch you recently I LIKE YOU MORE. I’m not a lesbian. Long time ago I stopped watching your channel but I came back recently and I noticed you have become a more organic person. More credible one. ❤
I watch because you are a board certified dermatologist, I do have my own dermatologist but I love watching learning and your advise have always been in line with my own Dr Ann. Love that shirt btw.
That opening is everything! Hell yes sister, effing own it! AND by watching your videos and listening to your advice as a BOARD CERTIFIED DERM, you have helped me make sense of a poorly prescribed Tret regimen from my doctor. I went from a horribly irritated and effed skin barrier to now much more healthy, glowing and tight skin. I thought Tret wasn't for me, but all thanks to you, I'm seeing the full benefits and cannot wait to see what a full year of consistency brings. I could just kiss ya!! xoo
I really appreciated this video. I wouldn't trust anyone who was not board certified. I'm 59 and really didn't start considering any procedures until the beginning of this year. I've had a pretty good run with my face but eventually, we all reach a point where we need help because change sets in. I'm very impressed and I when I'm ready, you'll be the person I go to.
All of your videos are like a masterclass. 👏🏆🏅 Been following you for a while. Super proud of you for starting your own line. Thank you for sharing so much wisdom with us, you're so generous and thorough!
Thank you I am 67 and facing wrinkles and dark spots from years of sun exposure from surfing and tennis. I’ve been contemplating the best treatment to reduce the aging signs and have found your video extremely helpful. I’ve started on a vitamin A treatment and will go for my first facial peel in 6 months

Good for you! You should be proud of being a board certified dermatologist. You've earned it!!!
Thank you ❤

Thank you for all the info! First, You should be proud of achieving being a board certified deem. Lots of time that most aren’t willing to invest, and yes, MONEY (education is expensive).

I use an LED face mask and I have new hair growth along my hair line. LED works.
Hi, please.? What brand is your infrared light? Thanks.
@@Ana-qe5vt hi!
I bought from Amazon. It’s a white solid face mask with a neck piece. It comes in a yellow/gold box with a white lid that says led beauty mask.
It was 70$ aus dollars. Works just as good as a $700 flexi mask.
I’ve looked at Red light thinkers but didn’t know which one is worth it and who to trust. Do tell please?
@TammyCondren what LED device do you use?
I’m in plastic surgery. I agree with everything discussed in this video. Very well done and comprehensive!

What kind of job do you have in ‘plastic surgery’ ? Sounds sus to me.

Thank you so much. This means the world to me ❤

I appreciate you letting us know that you are board certified because I can trust your information more than anything available out there
❤❤❤
What are your thoughts on facial yoga, massage, tapping, and Gua sha?

a board 'certified' surgeon damaged and messed up nasal anatomy and physiology
Excellent information thank you. I also have been having hyaluronic acid filler twice a year since I was 62 and in the same areas as you, it has worked very well for me and now at 70 I have little to no sagging in my face and I have never had the undesirable 'puffy face' look. A person whom I worked with when I was 22 (and I have not seen since that time) recognised me earlier this year and said that I looked so good for my age, you can't get any better outcome than that.
What is hyaluronic acid filler? Do u mean profilo??
One reason I watch your videos is bc you are a board certified dermatologist! I didn’t even know derms had RUclips channels and I was led astray by a skinfluencer. You are now my ride or die!
And this video is greatly appreciated by me.
Influencers are the worst source to get knowledgeable skincare advice from 😮
She’s mine too!!
@@Mistersgoodgirl sorry you went through that horrible ordeal and hope your skin is looking fabulous now 🫶🏼

Only 45 seconds in and I love you. The internet needs more educators like you
I flipping love your “aging or dead” ethos, it reminds me to embrace it rather than mourn what is no more or waste energy beating myself up for not looking after myself better before I knew better. Onwards and upwards! Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤
Aw love this! 🙌
I say that too when I look at my jowls. LOL.
Absolutely never stop saying it!!! You earned it and we appreciate you.
Yes 🙌🏻 keep saying it because the influencers should not come ahead of a board certified dermatologist when it comes to getting this information
I love how you can give us so much information in such a concise format. Not only are you a great derm but an exceptional presenter!!!
Proud to have woman like you in this world. May God still bless you and your family. Stay educated and teach girls in this world.
Thank you🤗
You are the first dermatologist to giving us the real deal on Ellacor. Thank you for your truthfulness and honesty.
BS usually means bullsh*t.
The reason I follow you is because you are a Dr!! I wouldn’t let ignorant people’s opinions bother you.
Hell yes to owning your achievements- especially as a woman. Love it! You're awesome.
Never thought about the bones being everchanging to this degree. Thank you for changing my perspective on the topic and my expectations of skin care.
@@HereDiianas Would you happen to have recomendations? 🤩
I also do appreciate you tell us you're a board certified dermatologist. Be proud of that achievement and the authority to talk about yur topics :).
Hello
I've been wearing the Oralift facial device for 2 years and been following the schedule consistently. It has tightened my jawline and lifted my cheekbones. It is not like having surgery but I have definitely aged backwards somewhat. This little device which looks like a mouthguard is AMAZING!!
When you Say it has aged you backwards somewhat, would you say that your results are significant and noticeable? Did you take before and Afters?
It's a great, inexpensive way to tighten the jawline and also helps
to lift the eye area. Love it so much that I have now started using it two months on and two months off.
Paid influencer, total scam
@@nanzsch I'm not an influencer. I'm just a regular person who has used the oralift and it works for me.
For another video topic: Do collagen products on the face, or in edible/drinkable powder, work? Also, what do topical peptides do?
I may not have known and would not have watched if you had not said you’re board certified. I don’t follow advice even on youtube from anyone who is not. So I appreciate that you say it every time.
You certainly earned that Board Certification and glad to see you displaying it proudly 👏🏻 “the alternative to aging is death” 😂 well said! We all need to embrace it ❤ easier said than done, I know.

Thanks for the information 👍
I love when you give the example like that picture in your office to stand back and look at the overall look of your face and how important the consistency of the color on your face is vs. staring at your face like through a magnifying glass. I know for me so many times I'm focused on this that or the other thing. And then I run into people and they are like. Wow, your skin looks so great. It looks so much younger etc and I. Begin to realize that i'm looking into a different face than other people are because i'm hyper focused on the flaws.
Thank you! You make me understand so many things simply and I like your approach of not being ashamed of getting old. It's refreshing!
Fantastic video. Thank you for treating us like adults and giving us decent levels of info and not dumbing it down ❤
Making sure you was a dermatologist was the 1st thing I was looking for.
I'm 77!! I'm with you, sister!! Golf, boat fishing, swimming, ballooning..I've had a blast outdoors and still outside every day I can!!
I can have fun in the sun and also put some sunscreen and a hat on. The sun isn't what it used to be, and skin cancer isn't fun. Also I'd rather take care of my skin and look better? Sue me for being vain I guess

What I like above all in your videos is how human and genuine you come across. I am truly glad I found this little gem of a channel
I’m 55 and aging really started for me at age 50 (thanks menopause). I’m thankful for my great genes, but now aging has become a reality. It’s hard.
