    Today we’re going to talk about how to get rid of loose skin after weight loss.
    When a person has loose skin, they have a problem with collagen and elastin. Typically, you don’t need to consume collagen for loose skin because the problem isn’t a lack of collagen in the diet.

    Dry brushing and microneedles , fasting 3 days minimum at the time, keto / carnivore diet have done the charm for me. I've been 500 lbs , I'm now 240 lbs and almost none loose skin. It's pretty perfect for all the weight I loose.

I really appreciate the scientific data on long term fasting, which has helped me to lose a lot of weight (almost 40 lbs so far, I have another 30 to go).     Intermittent fasting works- I am no longer pre diabetic and got down to 253 pounds before Thanksgiving. I know December is rough for me. Looking forward to the new year to lose 30 more pounds and to challenge myself with a prolonged fast. Breaking the sugar addiction feels great.

      @@tutsypie I eat breakfast and lunch. I use hot tea to get through evening when needed. I've now lost 55 pounds. I'm at the point where I need to work twice as hard to lose but gaining is still easy. Best of luck figuring out what works for you.

    I’m down 57 pounds. I don’t eat out and eat a very strict elimination lifestyle. Joint pain gone. Skin is shrinking with my weight loss. I was insulin resistant. Many many months later, I’m still IR, but I’m also so much more improved. We did keto diet years ago, lost quite a bit of weight, fell off keto wagon. Gained it all back. But this time, my mind is right. I’m eating lots of eggs, chicken, fish and veggies. My fam is not on the same page, but they are slowly getting on board. I cook all the food they eat from scratch. So at least I know they are getting nutrient dense foods. This lifestyle has changed our lives. It’s not a diet. Diets are temporary, lifestyle is a way of life. My mindset is different, I’ve been delivered of strongholds! 🎉

    Face Skin:
    While washing your face and putting on skincare, do not tug on skin, especially the delicate eye area. Apply with small circular movements, upwards and outwards, and gentle pressure. You want your features lifted, not falling and caving in. Better lymph drainage too.... less pressure and with care.

    I watch videos of this man and basically for all your troubles you need to:
    - sleep enough
    - train regurarly
    - do intermediate fasting
    - do cold showers
    - eat well (keto)
    This is all basics of a good living, but nowadays it is rare people live healthy.

    A good indicator that your efforts are working is that you’ll notice the skin is less reliant of moisturizer. Went from applying moisturizer everyday to once a week in just six months. Ingesting tocotrienols (vitamin E) is shown to improve the process as well since it reinforces the walls of your cells. A natural source of tocotrienol is the cooking condiment/coloring Annatto seeds

      @@Emiliah1996 started healthy keto as described by Dr Berg 18 months ago and dropped 30 pounds Now on zero carb keto with carnivore diet the last 2 months. The loose skin after losing that much was noticeable but stayed with the diet and it went away. Energy and endurance was improved to the point of starting a gym membership as well. Doctors say whatever you’re doing, keep doing it. Lots of improvements by diet alone

    I began the process of losing weight in Feb. 2022. Main reason was to trigger autophagy in my body; most importantly to help heal or reduce inflammation in my knees (osteoarthritis). As of Jan 2023 I lost 62 pounds. The arthritis hasn't gotten worst, nor has it gotten better but importantly the knees are worst. I FASTED as much as 72 hours and as little as 16 hours. For now, my FASTING period is 16hrs ON/8hrs OFF. I'm facing this loose skin problem right now. This video just validated my need to increase the intensity of my spin bike & weight lifting workouts, including my 1-2 hour walking workouts. 👍👍👍👍👍

    You had a video on a breathing exercise where you push out your stomach and exhale longer than you inhale. I have been doing that every second day. I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON. I was having major breathing issues at the beginning of last year (even after fixing the root cause). Now I can actually finish my exercises with no issues, no tight chest. I used to get a tight chest and breathe so shallow even while resting. Haven't had any breathing issues (other than from my rare panic attacks which I also come out of using the same breathing exercise) for months now. I don't know how to thank you. God bless you. You gave me more life to live (allowing me to live my old, full life once again).

    Thank you Doc! This is exactly what I needed. I got up to 330lb during the covid lock down usually was floating aronud 220-240lbs with a little beer belly. Lost about 40lbs in a year got super motivated after a 1 week fast and had no more hunger so I kept eating very little and exercising a lot gym and swimming lost another 30lbs last month. Now I am looking into losing the rest of it without loose skin. This video was gold I trust everything you said!

I am going to do everything he recommended in this video to try to prevent loose skin. One thing though I am about to do another water fast but @ 13:28 I couldnt find a mention for taking amino acids in the prolonged fasting video.     Moisturizing has made a big difference for me, especially where stretch marks exist. I like using a mix of oils right out the shower while my skin is still damp

    I hope Dr. Berg has great security because he is going against big Parma. There was a puerto rican doctor who also had a RUclips channel and he was going big against big pharma with methods that really worked and people loved him. He "suicided". He had it all, was at the top of his game, his youtube channel with millions of followers and yet he "jumped" off a 5th floor when he lived in a 3rd. Take good care of yourself doctor.     I was 250 in September 23. I started working at Sonic as a carhop. I started using the keto diet and lost over 120 lbs. I now weigh 130.

    Just FYI - HIIT can easily be done just by being a homesteader on a mountain - up the hill, feed the animals, down the hill, work the garden, up the hill, install fence, etc.

    Hi Dr. Berg, I just wanted to thank you. I had a pretty bad health issue last week and I just happened along your videos on RUclips while searching for the reason for my pain and discomfort. I ended up watching so many of your videos and they sincerely helped me figure out exactly what was wrong with me, and how to deal with it. Not only that, but I just wanted to let you know that the information you gave me was life-changing. I am actually on day 5 of eating zero sugar, zero carbs, understanding why I should do that, and I also quit drinking alcohol which was a big deal for me because I had been overindulging for years. I'm pretty sure alcohol was the cause of the problem that I had last week, and I have always wished that I could quit drinking but I never had the information that you so plainly gave me, as a reason strong enough to quit for good. My plan is not only to get healthier and lose weight, but I also want to pass on to others the information that you so generously provided, especially in the layman's terms that you use. You're a blessing!! And I hope you know it and I thank you up and down in huge amounts.
    When I was at church today, I passed along your name to a good friend who experienced angina for the first time. After Mass we all went to the Parish breakfast, and I had planned ahead of time and made a salad full of arugula, and hid it in my purse.😂 When I got to the cafeteria line I asked for "just eggs" and the Knights of Columbus cocked their heads real funny and looked at me strangely and said," Just eggs?" I didn't tell them about the salad I had hidden in my purse. I also didn't get in trouble and was allowed to bring my own food.😂 Anyway, God bless you and thank you so much for everything you're doing. That's exactly how you're getting to heaven!!!!
    P.s. Get a load of what the knights were serving: eggs, pork sausage, pork bacon, tater tots, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit cocktail in the syrup, lots of juices, and at the very end, donuts. Oh my Lord, your words were ringing through my head as I looked at the lineup. If you ask me, proper nutrition should be part of the Catholic curriculum, if we really cared about each other's bodies, being we are the body of Christ. Hmmmmm!! ❤❤❤❤

      Followup: I am on day 9, no grain products, no alcohol, no sugar! You were right, my round face is changing to a more chiseled look, and I have lost two inches off of my waistline. I thank God for the information you gave me, life changing!

    I'll say this, I'm convinced dieting and exercise to change weight is a waste of time. Every time it leads to the same result of gaining the weight back. I did the intermittent and prolonged fasting following Dr. Bergs videos and it not only worked it changed my metabolism to where I know 100% that I'll never go back to my eating and dieting habits. I recently learned this by eating my old way on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was miserable for 2 days from all the sugar and insulin I spiked by eating every couple of hours. I was eating socially and not because of hunger and paid the price. Never again, I cannot eat breakfast anymore and I don't eat after 6:00 PM. Some call this an 18:6 intermittent fast and some say it's too much restriction but it has done me so good and I feel so much better on it. Don't change your diet and try a few exercises rather hijack and supercharge your mitochondria changing your metabolism and you will never look back.

    I've lost a lot of weight and am struggling to gain it back because I really couldn't afford to lose it. I am now very thin instead of slender. Thank you for the video on what to do about the areas where my skin is sagging. I'll take these tips and keep hoping to gain some weight which I'm pretty certain would solve my problem.

      Instead of eating a whole cheesecake, try eating steak and potatoes (any style); yams; some fast food (in moderation) because you want to stay healthy; Ensure (weight gajn); junk food (in moderation). If you don't gain weight, see your doctor.

    Something you might not be aware of in regard to loose skin. When people go through radiation from cancer, it happens then too. My husband was fit and no loose skin. He went through radiation for cancer and his skin changed and became very loose. It happened also with a friend of mine who was fit and thin before cancer. She had radiation and chemo and her skin became very loose. Radiation does something to the elasticity in the skin.

      I’m sorry he had to go through that 😢 i wonder if some of these strategies would help him too. I’m also suffering from loose skin as a result of an autoimmune condition triggered by radiofrequency/laser. I was also fit with good skin before.
