Fix the collagen problem by fasting on a regular basis (intermittent and prolonged) 6. Aromatose inhibitor cream 7. Rest when you are sore, recover 8. Give it time
@@fatima-naturelover I found several aromatase inhibitor tablets on Amazon (which has a terrible search engine) but few creams. One that seems to fill the requirement, however, is called chrysin cream. There may be others.
A low-carb, real food diet and daily walking (3-5 miles per day) have reduced my cellulite by about 75% in 1 year. I never expected this, just a happy side-effect!
My ex boyfriend cheated on me 6 months ago... I was bored as hell and felt soo depressed, but these corona times helped me to work on myself. My friends motivated me to work hard, they introduced me with some tips and tricks that helped me to eat clean and feel better. In the process I got a diet from Dietarize to further improve my meal planning. My cellulite is now gone and I lost 46lbs in six months. On top of that I am strongly motivated for more!!

I've have cellulite since I was a young teen. Pregnancy made it worse.... after I had my 2nd child I drastically changed my diet, cut out all carbs and sugar, even all starchy foods. Ate more meat, fats, salt, probiotics, veggies, etc. Lost tons of weight quick and lost all my cellulite!

To anyone watching these type of videos because u feel unworthy in your body..you ARE WORTHY. God made you perfect as you are! Take care of yourself but never judge your body. You are beautiful ❤️
Dry brushing and fascia blasting along with walking, intermittent fasting and carnivore/keto has completely changed my body for the better! Lymph and fascia systems are key. Love you Dr. Berg!❤❤❤
It helped your cellulite diminish? That’s awesome! How long was it until you saw changes? Did you use the fascia blaster from ashley black? Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
I had devastating results from using the fascia blaster. My legs look terrible after using it for about 2 years. I just kept hearing to keep going- but it only got worse. I curse the day I bought that thing! The only option for me is plastic surgery to help the appearance of the now loose and sagging skin- I have seen 2 surgeons who have said even surgery won’t restore the appearance of my legs but so much. It would also take multiple surgery’s to get me there. I am not heavy and never have been, just had cellulite that I thought was unsightly. Please research and proceed with great caution before you consider fascia blasting with that tool.
fasia blasting is actually bad for you. That’s probably why he didn’t mention it. There’s a couple groups on Facebook with thousands and thousands of people who have had adverse reactions to fasia blasting. I used it for a couple years and my legs look horrible now. I am pretty sure it sent me into perimenopause as well.
The cheapest, and in my opinion the easiest way, to diminish cellulite is dry brushing. It also helps the lymph drainage and increase blood flow in cold feet and arms. It is very beneficial to your entire health. It is also great for your skin, because dry brushing gets rid of old dead skin cells so lotion and creams penetrate deeper into the skin and you will often get a lot smoother and softer skin. What kind of brush you use it up to you. I have done it with all kinds, and the results does not come from you using loofa or nylon brushes but by doing it every single day. The knitted mitten, made of coarse string from natural fiber, is one good option, but anything you might have that is coarse enough to rub off dead skin is good. Always do it from the perimeter of your body towards the heart. From toes to groin, from hands to shoulder. Stomach brushing will actually also help you with bowel movement, as it triggers the large intestine to work harder, contract and push fecal matter out. On the stomach I always do it clockwise so it follows the natural path of the large intestine. If you have problems doing it in one direction, just do it the way you can. It is better that you brush the wrong way than not at all. Brushing should be vigorously and you should get red by increased blood flow. You should not see blood or bruises, just redness. If you can’t do it twice daily because you get too tender, don’t do it so hard. I have treated multiple patients, including myself, with dry brushing and it is astonishing to see how well it works. Just do it.
That and proper sleep. My work schedule changed to nightshift and through I get adequate early morning/daytime sleep, the fact that it is not nighttime puts pressure on my system I believe. I am starting to notice what looks like cellulite for first time ( could also be hormone related). Drybrusing and exercise is a good compensation. Drybrusing will make my skin look air brushed. Stop for 2 weeks ( along with no exercise) and its back to sqaure one.
When I changed what I put in my body, walking at least 30 minutes 4 to 5 a week, the cellulite decreased tremendously! It takes time, but you can do it!
That's AWESOME! I just started walking 7 miles a day for the last 6 weeks and have noticed some change in my thighs, hips, and buttocks. Thanks for sharing your story for it helps me stay motivated. Take care and have a wonderful day!:-)
I've been walking 15k steps on average for the last 2 years and my cellulite has never been worse. Just exercise isn't the solution. You gotta clean up the diet too.
love your videos - I am not agreeing though with menopause a culprit of cellulite. I am 58 and on the tail of of menopause and I have been eating clean and eliminating sugar for a year and lost 15 pounds. I have done lunges and squats and walked all year every day too. Although I only lost a small amount of weight in that timeframe, I cried when I put on my bathing suit and saw that my cellulite had disappeared! I have had cellulite since the birth of my first son at 30! What a surprise! I have always exercised so I am attributing this to clean eating and no sugar/low carb. That is the only thing that I changed.
The best way to lose cellulite is: 1. Follow strict keto and intermittent fasting. 2. Do this for at least a year 3. Walk a lot 4. Weight training to create muscle tone and shape. 5. Try OMAD for stubborn fat Easy peasy 🤓😂🙂
@@ThePrimal.Podcast so happy for you! I do this too but some times I get out of my routines because of work so I just need to push trough those long weeks and keep eating healthy and workout. Only takes a few days to get out of those routines 😒 But yes you are right! Good job!
@@Angie.GiGi.Ari.86 I agree, I'm travelling right now and yes it's difficult to stay on track when friends are eating out and airplane food and so not keto friendly. But overtime I adapt and learn my weaknesses. I just stay away from sugar 100%, as it makes me mental 😂😂
If you get heavy enough, trust me, it shows up on your upper arms too. I’ve had noticeable cellulite in the upper arm area ( post menopausal) It just shows up first in the butt and thighs.
Not necessarily big, but even when I was teen and very skinny (but not eating that healthy), I had fat in my forearms that you can only find if you grab and turn the skin a little. Also in my neck but that one is pretty much impossible to see thankfully. My brother once even threw himself to the floor to pinch my calves and he screamed "You have cellulite there too?!?!". The worst thing is that mine is the type that hurts when pinched. So I have really sensitive arms and legs, probably has to do with the inflammation/bad circulation stuff.
I am not heavy (overweight) but I do have them all over - upper arms and stomach too ..... of course legs and botty are worse and goes worse, now have also around my knee and inner leg 🙈 I am 172 cm high and 62 kg - that's not nearby overweight! I only get rid off it only when I loose weight (+/- 6kg.) but this (172 cm high and 56 kg.) doesn't look healthy by my body structure because I have very, very small torso and you can see all my ripps... like I didn't get any food for months... It looks really horrible. I think it's a complex problem, which has (not necessarily) nothing to deal with overweight problem.
I had lots of cellulite when I was young and training for triathlon. I was a bread eater. Once I had quit eating so many grains my cellulite began to disappear. Too bad I did not know that back then.
Best advice ever, did that a year ago. You just need a week of walking backwards in water. Trust me, 30minutes of this and you will see difference, more difference than squats or any weightlifting exercise.
I'm 34 years old and since I was around 13-14 years old I've had a bad cellulite. Now I'm basically back to the same, but 3 years ago I had lost weight, ate healthy and went to the gym like 4-5 times a week. I was mostly on treadmill simulating uphill, lots of squats and always focused a bit more on my legs. It made a huge change... It changed from having literally HUGE holes on my skin without even squeezing it to a really smooth appearence! It's the only thing that it didn't just help, but solved the problem. Unfortunately after I stopped eating healthy and going to the gym went back to the same... I need to get back on track!
I'm almost 62 and same. But I never got around to it, so my recommendation is to buy a house near a YMCA and never ever move. So much fun and voila' great health.
Same here! Except I don't work out but eating healthy and moving every day make me so firm and lean in my body, look much younger. But right now I'm so lazy 🙄 I will get back again
Similar experience here. I didn't do the gym but when I walked at least five miles a day and walked quickly I lost all of my cellulite that I had for over 20 years. I was eating better but I was still drinking iced lattes almost every day. Then I moved, got a different job and became more sedentary and slowly the cellulite appeared on my legs and butt again.
Great advice! Got bored of the gym and diets 15 years ago started training in garage lifting rocks doing PUSH UPS on paint cans pull UPS on beams got ripped and fitter than ever in my 50s!!!

Body weight exercises are great, in addition to anything else you like to do. I do those since 1970s (I'm 64) and can attest to their effectiveness. I tried HIIT but tore my hamstring, maybe needed more warm-up on those muscles. Now mainly interested in keeping healthy, so focused on exercising in target heart range for 45 to 60 minutes each exercise session and minimum of 5000 steps a days. I call it (exercising in THR) interval running -- I run for about 25 seconds and then walk for 30 seconds and repeat for several miles. Between that and a reasonable diet, I'm avoiding unnecessary meds. I also squat down and pick up a 20 pound weight (about 50 reps) and change arms each repetition, because a man about 13 years older than me seems to have difficulty doing those types of movements (squats/lunges) and he's been at it since his 40s if not before (he loves karate and does those forms (katas) and exercises nearly every day). Sometimes gyms are okay for motivation, but if you're capable of self-motivation it isn't necessary and you can use the $$$$ for other alternative things, unless you like the expensive equipment, ambiance (similar to viewing a video and feeling more motivated from seeing all the muscles/action/sweat), and/or air-conditioned environment, and trying to get your money's worth from the payments and trip to/from the gym.

Roman's 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles (MOST modern day Europeans/Caucasians/ etc) be come in. (Yes there are some black “dark skinned” gentile people as well but the main gentiles ruling this world behind the scenes are in fact “white” gentiles. Gentiles are known for being practitioners of lawlessness although not ALL gentiles are lawless but rather Most as a whole. Part of the blindness is that we would not know who the true Father of Jacob(Israel) was and that we would worship false gods of [wood and stone] partially referring to worship of the cross(wood) and the “idol” of christianity the “jesus” that hangs on the cross tends to be made of (stone). Worship not literally meaning to bow down and speaking in gibberish nonsense tongue waving hands up and down, but rather worshiping meaning “To Submit To/Obey”. The speaking in tongue that some Christians do is nonsense, speaking in tongue only refers to the ability of being able to speak in a language or many languages to spread your message across multiple nations. Smh Deuteronomy 28:36 TMH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. Deuteronomy 28:64 And TMH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. Just as important as "what's his name," is "what is not his name." However, it is 100% certain that his name was not Esus Crios aka “Jesus Christ”, the idol of the Celtics who the Catholics sing at Easter in the Vatican, aka what all surface level “Holy Bible” readers (Commonly identifies as “Christians”) refer to the Anointed One as.
We have been tricked, deceived as a result of the curses of the law (Deut 28-64)...wake up and stop following the lies of the Gentiles that govern this world. True Israel is awakening. I am no historian but I love researching and proving all truth. It was the so-called "Holy" Roman Catholic Church that banned us from reading certain books. Do not trust the Adversary's agents of deceit and destruction. The Catholic Church is not a good moral compass. Catholic meaning Universal. They literally crusaded all over the world, had TMH’s people murdered, burned women alive, and made laws against poor people (peasants) from having translated Bibles and books of education in the past. Who are they to condemn a book for any of us to read? They are certainly in no position to order us and they are most certainly NOT our Creator nor the Savior. Do not trust those who come in sheep's clothing but are rather ravaging wolves. It has been told of us to be as harmless as doves AND as wise as serpents. For one to be wise, You must research and READ, and educate yourself, AND prove ALL TRUTH. The only one to lead you is The Most High. Pray for insight but don't trust when LIARS tell you NOT to read something but approve of what you “Should”! It is good that we pray for you, and I do hope you pray for me as well. However, the decision is ours as to whether or not we fully submit to his will. The Most High wants us to submit to his will through our own decisions. That is why the Messiah says if any man comes to me, let him deny HIMSELF. That is why the word also says to be transformed by the renewing of OUR minds. That’s why it says every man will have to give an account for what he hath done. It is personal accountability and the sooner we accept this, the closer we will become to actually making the decisions that will make us submit fully to his will And for those of you who deny the existence of The Most High or don’t take the ancient scriptures seriously, you need to seriously wake up. Biblical prophecy is literally unfolding right before our eyes. This is not a game. A few notable mentions: Women wearing makeup should repent and change no debate, people who smoke weed (sorcery) should repent and change no debate, people who eat upon the flesh of animals… should reconsider. Everything is going according to prophecy, even ‘they’ have to move accordingly.. Go and sin no more and put in work for the kingdom. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. I have arthritis, hip replacements and a torn acl/ mcl that's really stiff still after 10 years. And I love to sweat so I'm anxious to get this! I have been doing hiit routines at a place here on Kauai for yhe last 12 weeks but had to stop due to some severe pain. (That's what got me my hip replacements, I don't know when to say when!) I quit soda completely about 6 years ago. Within the first months I saw a significant reduction of the cellulite on my legs, around an 80% or so. I was shocked with the results and happy for the overall health benefits of that decision. I been doing resistance training for a while and recently started intermittent fasting. Hope that will make a difference as well.
Cellulite definitely occurs on stomach and arms. I have it, even when I was a size zero. Additionally, what happens is that people who have autoimmune diseases have mixed connective tissue issues. Moreover, anyone with stress, who is surging adrenaline, will cause an estrogen dominance as a result. And even hypothyroidism. All of which can be determined from a Dutch Oats test. Most people with trauma will end up with autoimmune diseases also, which then all brings it together. HIIT and Tabata actually surge adrenaline and cortisol and can make things worse, so you need to do that carefully. Has nothing to do with being sore… has to do with undermining the purpose of what you are doing. Yoga and Pilates are actually better in those instances. As is hiking.
Yes! Many ppl don't realize that the body processes exercise as stress and therefore triggers an inflammatory responses in the body. "Gentler" exercises such a yoga, pilates and aquafit - even just walking are best for certain illnesses and disorders.
I changed professions last year, am now milking cows, I walk backwards most of the time down the pit putting cups on cows which is followed up by walking forward back up to the start. I’ve lost most of my fat on my legs, I just thought it was because of all the walking general, certainly happy to here/see it works 😊

As soon as my period stopped at age 51, I got terrible cellulite that I never had before...yet I was eating healthy, perfect bloodwork, sugar, etc. and I felt exhausted and gained weight by 4 lbs or more each and every week! I found a good naturopath who put me on Thyroid ndt and bio idential hormones. I lost 106 lbs and the cellulite went too. now I look and feel great. menopause it awful and must be conquered!
I'm so close to being a healthy weight, no doubt I'll reach it by the end of this month if I keep up the diet and excerise. Thank you doc for your wisdom.
You definitely can get cellulite also in the stomach/ tummy - I have it myself and even a male friend of mine has it. In the arms people do have it as well (I've seen many overweight people with fatty arms that have dents in them, or elderly people who don't have much collagen left in their tissue). However, I love your videos - they are very informative. Thank you!
I was a marathon runner for years. Always wore compression leggings, so my legs didn't see much daylight. Then I got sick, had to stop running, found that incredibly difficult, disliked my body until I went "Enough!!" and owned every bit of it and started waking with shorts on in the sun. Cellulite at least halved within a few months.
If I might ask... Did it just go way in the places that were actually *bared to* the Sun?_ I wear sundresses, skirts, & skorts, but they come down to just above my knees (I'm pretty modest... ...& old). Did you lose cellulite in *_just the parts of your legs that the Sun touched?_* Or, do you think it was because you were *_increasing your EXPOSURE, all around?_* I could go in the more-private back yard & hike my dress up higher, I guess... ...but, I have cellulite on my booty, too. _And, there ain't _*_NEAR ENOUGH_*_ privacy to be baring _*_THAT,_*_ in my unfenced yard! 😂_ Given those parameters... ...I wonder if Sun would, indeed, be helpful for me, _if the Sun needs to _*_actually touch_*_ the areas with cellulite._ If it's a matter of _simply increasing your _*_overall exposure_*_ to the Sun,_ then that is something I can work on. Thank you!❤

Vinjulieann, I practice qi gong tai chi and meditation 2 hours a day, very slowly, with three equal phases for each movement, stretch, hold, relax.I can see the effect after 6 months.
This makes so much sense! I never had cellulite when I was younger, despite being much, much heavier than I am now. A few years after menopause, the cellulite came with a vengeance and I always blamed it on my post-menopausal lack of estrogen. Who knew there was too much of it coming from other places than the ovaries! I am living a keto lifestyle, and IF is my next step. I'm also going to get more serious about the exercises Dr. Berg talked about here. I'm so happy; there's hope!
I has always loved walking backwards-strange as it may seem! It is a fun way to lead a line of elementary students through school hallways and allows me to have eyes on those at the back of the line.
Dr. Berg: immediately following menopause, I was on a ten day fast, lost 12 lbs & everything balanced/healed...amazing! But...Flabby butt & thighs !! I googled those words & found you tge first time; your video on BCAA's! Upping my protein intake. Sprinting weights. No sugar and low carbs gave my body new skin in about a year. Can't wait to try the intermittent fasting and dry brushing. Great video!!!
A rebounder is excellent for anyone who wants to do a low impact exercise with good results. Especially if you have knee problems. It stimulates your lymphatic system and helps with circulation. Results for toning and weight loss and cellulite.

Awesome that Melatonin is stimulated by red light in the sun. Also, the HIIT sprinting. What I love about the body: the more knowledge we gain, the more we realize our parents were right - even though they may not have known the reasons behind it. "Go outside and play, it's good for you!" 😉
I'm 52, my cycle was gone for two years and returned out of no where. I have been having problem getting rid of belly fat and cellulite. Your videos teach us that that hormones can make it difficult to lose weight. I was boarder line diabetic. I started the keto and I have been feeling better.
Hi there! I’m a medical student and just wanted to say if you’ve gone through menopause and start to have periods after not having one for a while, you should see your PCP or OBGYN. Post menopausal bleeding isn’t always something bad but it can be, so they might want a biopsy!
Have you been vaccinated against Covid ??... studies have shown a large number of women have been menstruating for several months after...even years after Menopause
Yes cuz after a full 12 minutes nth ( year) cycle not having a period usually means your done !!! I’ve never heard of 2 years& coming back the gynecologist said something completely different , I would check myself lol
"Cellulite only occurs in the butt, thighs and hips but not the arms and stomach" ?? Dr Berg, please explain the cellulite on MY arms and abdomen...I'd send pictures if I could.
He is talking about women I think as most women tend to have fat around those areas. Men will have fat around arms du to high level of the Male testosterone hormone.
I laughed when I heard him say that. No offense to Dr. Berg and I still respect and listen to his vids, they are SUPER informative and helpful. I am thin for the most part (5'4" and 122 was even anorexic at one time), have been my whole 58 years of life and I have had cellulite since my early twenties. I even had GREAT muscle tone, worked with horses, went to the gym...cellulite is an evil that is present in some of us no matter what we do and NOW I am seeing it in my upper arms and it makes me sick, but oh well!
I've had this after giving birth to my second daughter. A lot of hormonal changes and gained too much weight. I started going to the gym an hour a day working hard on a treadmill and thankfully it gets rid of my cellulites.
i got into 3x a week running (besides 16/8 intermittent fasting for over 7 years)... After 9 months i was surprised to see that my cellulite drastically reduced even though i am in my 40s. I had had it all my life even though i was always normal weight, even on a skinny side. But yes, running is never just running - it made me sleep better, drink less alcohol and consider my food choices as they impact running performance. Not to mention feeling awesome due to reduced cortisol. Running and IF is a great combo.
Very informative. I am not an over weight person and am generally very healthy, but have always had cellulite on my thighs and buttocks. So thanks for this video because it's encouraging to know that there is something that one can do about it.
@@Strawberry.leeraymartinez5829Agreed. I had it in Highschool also and im not overweight, strongly believe there is a genetic component. You either get it or dont. But these are all really good methods for reducing it.

I’m thankful you made this video, these are most of the things I did to lose almost 50 pounds! It was finally a success when I accepted it would take a while because weight loss isn’t magic. I found the perfect ways to still enjoy the things I love but in small quantities and when I met my goal it was well over a year. What’s a year when your whole life is finally ahead of you! I had two children and was successful both times but it took over a year to achieve my goal and an initial diet clinic to teach me about how it all works.
This makes so much sense. I have had bad cellulite for decades, even though I don't smoke, don't drink anything but water, and I am slim. . Now I know it is because I have oestrogen dominance, which was diagnosed when I got breast cancer. Thank you so much for all the invaluable advice.
Thank you for these videos! I've increased the muscle mass in my legs dramatically over the last year and have seen NO change in cellulite 😬 time move on to step 2!
A friend told me about Dr. Berg because my husband is dealing with sciatica. I am so amazed with all of his videos. I am going to start eliminating my cellulite today. He makes so much sense. I love how he uses science and research.
I have cellulite in my stomach and have for 30 years. I’m 110 pounds. I had a full hysterectomy 30 years ago and took hormone replacement, However the lowest dose available. For quite some time doing approximately 200 crunches five days a week to no avail. I think genetics also plays a very strong role in cellulite.
Apparently crunches don't work. If you look up Jeremy Ethier, Jeff Nippard and other people who train, they give solid advice and crunches don't work, it's better to do full body workout, improve diet and nutrition and get enough sleep
If you haven’t always had it - maybe not? Maybe hormones might be. But dr Berg has some great points of melatonin & fasting- crunches might help underlying muscle but not the fat cells. Have you had any babies ( my sister had really serious stretching which gave her stomach a prune like appearance.
Claudia, love your attitude. I’m 62, retired, and trying to be more active. I want to be around people like you. We all need positive perspectives & I am going to up my exercise! 😊 🙏🏻
Good info! I didn’t know this information before but I’m currently doing intermittent fasting, drinking melatonin, sleeping more and exercising. I will keep an eye out if my lovely cellulite starts to disappear. Thank you!
12 years ago, I was overweight and had cellulite. I went vegan and have been since but didn’t lose the cellulite until 3-4 years into being vegan and riding my bicycle to and from work (about 14 miles a day, 3-5 times a week) and I definitely noticed it disappear after that. I also learned about lymphatic massaging and applied that as well. Appreciate your videos! They are so helpful!

I’m 34 years old and weight 120 pounds, something that I noticed was that when I stopped my birth control one year ago I started developing excessive amount of cellulite on my legs and arms, I been trying to fix the problem. Thank you for the video.
Hello Dr Berg! This short exercise of mine is related to your cellulite video! I started to target exercise my butt, thighs and hip areas with a morning wakeup and before overnight sleep simple routione while lying on my bed (or on my floor exercise mat): Lie on your back, lifting your legs keeping your feet turned forward toward you and keep your knees straight and unbent throughout most of this relatively short targeted workout. Open your legs and drop them to the sides as far as is comfortable without forcing your legs down 8 times in as row. Then cross your legs over each other each other before lowering them down at the sides with the same good stretch movement. Your thighs can be turned outward easily while bending your knees up while lifting your legs toward you which warms and helps break up or melt butt, hip and inner thigh fat and cellulite deposits. But the resistance you get from the lying down positions is much better. Next turn on each side of your body and do up and down straight leg lifts 8 times each with feet turned forward giving nice stretches of the inner thighs. Finish by lying on each side and keeping each leg straight while turning it outward as much as comfortably possible while turning the leg up and out away from the body 8 times. Side to side standing leg crosses also help noticeably reduce your inner thigh fat cellulite by producing warmth to those cells. Your upper thighs, butt and hips get the movement to build the body warmth from all the stretching of these areas which we don't usually get from other exercises other than squats. Much of my butt, hip and thigh cellulite is gone now along with the excess fat I have lost in these areas. They are noticeably slimmed down. My jeans and swimsuits fit these areas like they should on nice, smooth sexy curves. My unsightly "cellulite craters" and their ajoining body fat are gone or noticeably smoothly diminished in appearance now.
What an amazing resource this video is! Thank you Dr. Berg for constantly seeking out new knowledge. Wish other doctors did this and we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.
Change is gradual! I wish I had taken pictures. I have been eating no sugar and doing keto and IF since after this past Thanksgiving 2021. Recently I noticed much less cellulite on my inner thighs. I have lost near 20 lbs.
Thank you for a great video! I want to suggest something to those with bad knees or back issues or whatever may keep them from doing Sprints and High Intensity Interval Training as well as rebound exercises. I am a water fotness instructor - I taught higg intensity land classes for 20 years and transitioned to the water for last 15..(I am 52) The type of class I have tales high intensity into the water. Not your grandmothers workout! It can help anyone wanting to perform the exercises in a safe low/no impact way. I got in fabulous shape when I began teaching the class and takong it to a different level. In water your body is constantly pushing against the water, no matter what direction yoire going. Plyometric work can be super intense without the risks as can interval work. It takes a little practice to really understand how to use the water to yoir advantage and make it better than any gym workout. I just wanted to add that as an option for anyone who has pool access. *I have been able to maintain my.muscles, stamina and body weight all the years since going all water. I'm 5'1 and 108 pounds. It truly can be an excellent work out. I hope this is helpful to someone ❤
I’m 71 and have learnt a lot from your videos thank you, I have bad knees and have found walk in the sea a great way of exercising have even started jogging,I’ll now include walking backwards.
Get a rebounder- also good for stimulating lymph removal which is dependent on movement to remove from the body as it has no pump. Rebounders also cushion your joints a bit like swimming and is less harsh than running on a firm surface.
Did the backwards walking today in the Nature reserve. It was such a tough workout.. Engaged so many more muscles and way harder cardio excercise as well..
I love ❤ the way Dr. Berg digs deeper for the root cause of a disorder. He asks the tough questions and helps you truly understand the complex dynamics at work.
I wanted to add my experience as an older person who started developing cellulite only within the past 5 years (happened quite quickly). I believe my body has managed to not have cellulite for so long because I grew up eating gelatin rich and marrow rich foods (bones, cow feet etc.). But since I no longer consume my traditional as my daily diet (my parents would cook for me), well, the cellulite developed quickly, and severely.
Just wanted to let Dr Berg know that I’ve had cellulite on all the areas you mentioned since my 40’s but ALSO on the fronts of my arms. So it is not limited to the lower body as you state. I’ve tried everything and it’s still a big problem. Now the cellulite is turning crepey. I’ve been on keto for 1 year. Do OMAD and 18:6 almost every day. I cannot say that the cellulite has changed one bit even though I’ve lost 12 pounds. I’m going to try your multi level approach but wanted to let you know that arms are a big cellulite area as well. Thanks
yep, I definitely had some on my upper arms when I gained weight.. it's gone now but I just wanted to add that it's not just the lower body that's affected..
I'm sorry Christine that I do not have images for my targeted hip, butt and thigh exercises but reading through each one twice before trying it should clarify my instructions. I do a DAILY 20 MINUTE WALK WHICH TARGETS THE INNER THIGHS, HIPS and BUTT. You will start feeling and seeing results quickly! This walks reaps benefits for your hips, butt and inner and outer thighs ! TRY TO KEEP YOUR BACK STRAIGHT THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE WALKING! Just allow your shoulders to drop down and back slightly and your posture will basically self correct. NO NEED FOR A STIFF POSTURE! YOUR FOCUS IS YOUR BUTT, HIPS AND THIGHS! STAY FOCUSED! WALK AT A MODERATE PACE. (Walking at a speeded pace or taking large steps causes us to lean forward and only our shoulders and arms get the benefit of all that energy filled heated muscle work). KEEP YOUR BUTT, HIPS AND THIGHS UNDER YOU AS MUCH AS COMFORTABLT POSSIBLE AS YOU WALK. Don't allow them to trail behind you! You can do this even while walking up or down slight hills. (You will feel the alignment like a ballet dancer does but without any strain). Your butt, hips and thighs will now be the direct recipients of this great muscle heat at work! TURN YOUR FEET SLIGHTLY OUTWARD AS YOU TAKE EACH STEP. This helps get the hard to reach inner thigh fat and the back of your butt cellulite to move forward and warm up to help burn off that fat and cellulite. Your inner thighs will smooth which makes your outer thighs smaller. Your torso will slightly turn from side to side as you walk which warms your waist and your outer hips to help them smooth out also. You will feel and begin to see these targeted areas smooth out and get the stretch, warmth and toning to burn that cellulite off of your butt, hips and inner and outer thighs. MAKE YOUR WALK REALLY PAY OFF BY FOCUSING ON THIS TARGETED ZONE! I do not recommend ever doing this on a treadmill. You are not in total control on a treadmill and you will not get the body strengthening, muscle heat or physical energy that self walking gives you! Enjoy this workout walk!
6:40 I just realized i have not been walking correctly all these years. Im 40! My chiro told me to splay my feet out a bit and contract each butt muscle when you walk. So when you lift your right leg you fire your right cheek. I guess I've used my quads and hip flexors to walk which is incorrect and does damage to your knees over a lifetime of doing it. SO after a week of reprogramming myself. I can contract and feel each cheek when I walk THUS tightening my butt. Its amazing cause I weight train 5 days a week and I've not seen progress like this in years. Your glute is your largest muscle in your body so if you work on that your good.
there is an entire book on this topic, proper walking to engage glutes…8 Steps to Pain Free Back by Ester Gokhale. She goes around the world educating on posture, walking, etc. Best wishes!
Thank you so much Doc! Your videos have helped me with many personal issues, including type 1.5 IDDM. I started teaching high school science this year. I have been showing many of your videos to my students in Human Health and Nutrition. You are awesome!
Cardio, weight training, massages, vitamin e tablets, and cleaner eating has helped me immensely. I will be using the vibration machine which I hear helps a lot too!
When I was 7 - 10 yo, I was having sleeping issues, insomnia. When I entered puberty I developed cellulite on the back of my thighs. This has stayed with me until now. Sleeping issues continued up until m 30's. No matter how hard I worked on my legs and thighs, I could not get rid of the cellulite. My Dr noticed, in my 30's, that my testosterone levels were low and that my body was converting testosterone to estrogen. We tried pills and supplements to stop the conversion. It worked, but the cellulite was/is still there. Listening to this video brings it into perspective. BTW, I am male. 60 years old.
Dear Dr. Berg, Im 36 and got diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, could you do a video about that? Everyone always talks about menopause and I think POI gets overlooked too often. Would love to hear what you can tell about it. Thank you!
Dry fasting per Phoenix Protocol is likely fastest way to reset hormonal system and repair possible damage or toxicities to ovaries. Not exactly easy but it is free. Yt chan.
@@christinagood4759 not the original commenter, but for me, the symptom of premature ovarian failure was that I stopped having periods in my 30’s. If you go through menopause before 40, that is how you are diagnosed. At least that’s what happened to me. There can be different causes (toxins, cancer treatments, stress, viruses), but my cause was a genetic condition. Usually, doctors just treat it by having the patient use HRT until the age of normal menopause (about 52). It doesn’t make you have a period again, but some doctors think it helps protect the heart. I hope that helps! I like to spread information about it-I thankfully had my kids young, but it can be extremely traumatic for women who thought they still had time to have children but go through menopause young before that can happen.
I've recently been diagnosed with 'Lipodema' in my sixties but I've had it since my teens. Basically odd fat cells creating excess fat, holding more water, upper arms, hips, legs and thighs. Skinny hands and feet are a big giveaway! Most people who eat poorly and don't exercise have plump hands and feet. Classic Slim top and heavy lower body aka 'pear shape'. Due to a lot of activity all my life never that bad but I always felt 'deformed'. Why have I such 'odd' legs? I don't drive and walk five to ten miles a day ( have a dog). I've had PMS/PMDD all my life and soft skin. Keto and Carnivore really helps loose this fat. EG no sugar and no carbs. Seems connected to this topic? Would love to hear your take on 'Lipodema' Dr Berg as it's side effects can be truly horrendous and handicapping in some? Thank you
Thank you Dr. Berg. We listen to many of your videos and you have great advice. My husband is doing low carb and it's helping him with skin problems and cleaning out the toxins.
I've watched dozens of your videos, some of them more than once. The way you explained this is incredibly clear. Who'd a thunk cellulite was such an interesting topic. I'm 62 and still don't have any but many of my GF's from 30 upwards are suffering from this. I'm gonna forward them this video. You know what's great? Pickleball. The way the game is played emulates interval training and I'm in a mid squat position a majority of the time! I guess I'll keep up what I'm doing (most of what you recommend) because it's clearly keeping the cellulite at bay!
This is so helpful! I do CrossFit & even while I was pregnant (scaled of course) but I'm almost 2 years postpartum and I think my cellulite is really bad due to not getting sleep with the baby. That's been the major difference!
Are you saying that *_not getting enough sleep_* causes cellulite??? For real??? Thank you.❤ And, congratulations on that precious baby, Mama! ❤ Children are such amazing Blessings! My child is the greatest Blessing, Purpose, & Joy that I have ever known, in my entire life.❤ God bless you & your child(ren?) & your family, always.💗
This could be why the collegen powders smoothed out my leg skin so nicely. The label said it would and I was actually shocked to see it did. I quit taking it and cellulite has reappeared 🤨. Also I saw a video about DIM and got tablets. So I’ll look for cream 🤷♀️. Thank you for sharing with the whole world, Doc! 🙏🏻❤️☺️
The period of my life where I had ZERO cellulite was when I trained like an Olympian athlete. I worked out three hours a day at the gym and rode my racing bike around White Rock Lake (Dallas) every afternoon. The burn that you get in your quads , butt and hamstrings is what produces the fast twitch fiber effect! Incredible definition . Also I drank lime water ALL the time which is great for your liver and skin.
Marion are you still driven with training? I feel like it’s just part of who will always be. “Gym Rat” however, I feel as though as we age, we experience these things… this is good info.
@@josie9583 its as doctor berg said. Hormonal balance comes from the inside. if your liver and other organs are clean. If your lymph system is moving. And your insulin and cortisol within normal range, then your hormones balance out and it shows on your skin too. That's why creams and beauty products are laughable. Radiance comes from inside out.
@@Pam_HRL I’ve taken quite a while off. But just gifted myself a weight set and racing bike. I’m not ever going to quit this time. But will proceed slowly but consistently! I’m excited.
Thank you Dr Berg for the new info. I personally find avoiding sugar and using cosmetic creams helped a lot with this prob, and exercising on my gym bike regularly.
I love your videos! I have lost ten lbs in about 2 weeks with intermittent fasting. I like to say though that my step children have always struggled with their weight and both, male and female, have cellulite on their stomachs.
I found the comment about no cellulite on stomach and arms a bit odd . I got cellulite on my upper arms, along with my stomach, during perimenopause with oestrogen dominance. Also on my stomach.
I've transitioned to plant-based consumption and my energy is off the charts - thus slowly transforming my body. But thank you , Dr. Berg for always providing data-driven info. Dr. Berg for president...this man is all about solutions!
I’m 53 and went through menopause at 45 without any symptoms. For last 2 years I have been working out 6 days per week (3 strength) and do nightly dry brushing. My cellulite sort of disappears after my shower but by the morning is back. Therefore. I have accepted it.
Dr. Berg, please look into LIPEDEMA, which is a fat disorder that makes your legs very painful and heavy. Lipedema fat DOES appear in arms and abdomen, along with legs. Many women think they have cellulite when they really have lipedema. Lipedema fat does not go away with diet and exercise. Right now, the only effective treatment is expensive surgery. But I believe if anyone can find a cure, you can. Help us, Obi-Berg Kenobi, you’re our only hope.
Have you tried keto and intermittent fasting based on his videos? I just read a success story from a woman who had lipodema who used these 2 protocols.
Excellent video! Easy to understand, and absolutely ties together/explains everything I've experienced thus far in my own body (having high estrogen, muscle loss, etc) and/or the observance of others (a friend who lost all her cellulite over a year or two of using an infrared sauna for other reasons, etc).
There def needs to be more emphasis and videos on how infrared combats cellulite. I put two and two together and came across this by accident, being a Dr Berg and keto fan. And that's exactly what he recommends.
I have been doing heavy weights for a year and a half now. I still had a lot of cellulite even though I have a decent diet and workout 5 days a week. Within the last month I decided to try intermittent fasting. I'm pleasantly shocked how much that has reduced my cellulite. The difference is pretty dramatic and I only just started. I had a feeling intermittent fasting was to attribute to that. I'm looking forward to adding in some of your suggestions from the video. Thank you so much for putting this together.
@Uchiha.Itachii it seems different for everyone. Different things cause it maybe? For some it could be muscle atrophy like Dr. Berg is talking about here but he also talks about hormonal imbalances and circulation issues. I've always had cellulite on the back of my thighs despite being in good shape. I used to figure skate and had rock hard thighs at that time yet STILL had cellulite. I was also in extremely good shape during my 20s and did lots of heavy squating, deadlifting, sprinting, etc. Still had the cellulite!
Use an elliptical pedaling backwards. That will work. But be careful, my DOMS were so sore. FYI: before using this machine, I didn’t think much of it, I was wrong…
I can attest to the red light therapy, I just built my own LED red and near infrared bed and its noticeably helping my cellulite and overall skin texture.......
I bought RED LED light panels from overseas that were independently verified. Then believe it or not I used household stuff, mostly from Kmart and made a bed. I actually showed it to my skin cancer doctor when I had my annual check and showed him the specs, he is also a cosmetic doctor, and he said it was the same specs as his machine that he paid over $30k for. I'll upload some pics foe you
1. Lunges, squats, walking backwards, sprinting.
2. Red light therapy, rebound exercises, increase antioxidants, increase melatonin.
3. Use a dry brush to stimulate the skin
4. Get a massage
5. Fix the collagen problem by fasting on a regular basis (intermittent and prolonged)
6. Aromatose inhibitor cream
7. Rest when you are sore, recover
8. Give it time
Aromatase inhibitor cream, just to be clear.
Happy New Year I T, thank you!
@@MorrisLess I can't seem to find this cream.
the doctor put all that in the video notes
@@fatima-naturelover I found several aromatase inhibitor tablets on Amazon (which has a terrible search engine) but few creams. One that seems to fill the requirement, however, is called chrysin cream. There may be others.
A low-carb, real food diet and daily walking (3-5 miles per day) have reduced my cellulite by about 75% in 1 year. I never expected this, just a happy side-effect!
WoW awesome
Well done 😊

My ex boyfriend cheated on me 6 months ago... I was bored as hell and felt soo depressed, but these corona times helped me to work on myself. My friends motivated me to work hard, they introduced me with some tips and tricks that helped me to eat clean and feel better. In the process I got a diet from Dietarize to further improve my meal planning. My cellulite is now gone and I lost 46lbs in six months. On top of that I am strongly motivated for more!!

I've been dry brushing, practicing intermittent fasting, and cold showers and I've seen DRAMATIC change in my cellulite and everything else.

two years dry brushing and intermittent fasting. Cold showers are amazing and I've been doing it at least 6 months now.
What kind of brush do you use?
@@cyohe8643 I just got a regular body brush from natural grocers... They have different ones I'm sure but mine isn't anything fancy. They should have body brushes at most whole foods places near the cosmetics section I think.
Hi, how do you brush, like is it circular?
To anyone watching these type of videos because u feel unworthy in your body..you ARE WORTHY. God made you perfect as you are! Take care of yourself but never judge your body. You are beautiful ❤️
Ok but God didn’t create us to abuse our bodies. No one is born overweight. It happens through poor diet and lack of access to clean foods.
Thank you 🤎

God didn't make us with cellulite. :)
Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
Yes! I agree to all of those. Wish he had talked about fascia and fascia blasting!!

Just do it.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about dry brushing! Very helpful! I screenshot it on my phone and saved it! ❤
Thank you so much
That and proper sleep.
So thankful I came across this comment! Thank u for sharing
So, the results you are seeing is a reduction in cellulite? In your patients?
When I changed what I put in my body, walking at least 30 minutes 4 to 5 a week, the cellulite decreased tremendously! It takes time, but you can do it!
Hope that's true I work out i do i.f. And I feel like it's not doing much for my thighs
That's AWESOME! I just started walking 7 miles a day for the last 6 weeks and have noticed some change in my thighs, hips, and buttocks. Thanks for sharing your story for it helps me stay motivated. Take care and have a wonderful day!:-)
I walk backwards on the beach!! And not in the sand, but in the water... for resistance.

My mother is 82 years old and she doesn t have cellulite at all, because all her life took a walk every day 10 km
WOW 😮
Probably genetics too or anyone who walked that much every day would be the same.
My mom is a nutritionist and walks every day, is a skinny person, and still has tons of cellulite. I do too. Genetics definitely plays a role :/
The best way to lose cellulite is:
1. Follow strict keto and intermittent fasting.
2. Do this for at least a year
3. Walk a lot
4. Weight training to create muscle tone and shape.
5. Try OMAD for stubborn fat

If you get heavy enough, trust me, it shows up on your upper arms too. I’ve had noticeable cellulite in the upper arm area ( post menopausal) It just shows up first in the butt and thighs.
Ketherwhale I think large upper arms just have big fat cells and they are visible thru the skin
I am not heavy (overweight) but I do have them all over - upper arms and stomach too ..... of course legs and botty are worse and goes worse, now have also around my knee and inner leg 🙈
I am 172 cm high and 62 kg - that's not nearby overweight!
I've seen it in the abdomen as well
Yup I have cellulite in my arms . It’s where I carry all my fat
I had lots of cellulite when I was young and training for triathlon. I was a bread eater. Once I had quit eating so many grains my cellulite began to disappear. Too bad I did not know that back then.
Walking backwards in water is even better to work those muscles. Resistance is the key.
I might just do that!
Woow, so it is reversible? I thought it does not goo😊

Proving it on those BRUTAL training vids garageman keep it up

I’m under weight for my height - I do have cellulite on my UPPER ARMS, STOMACH, as well as my knee tops, thighs and butt - I do not have hormone inbalance - I am Keyto -I only eat 2 small meals most days - I weight resistance exercise and have well defined muscles -I do lymphatic dry brushing most days - this has been my lifestyle for 20 years
not eating enough
Yes more protein like 1-1.5 grams per # of body weight…hard to get that in with only 2 small meals…protein is thermogenic anyway and helpful
@@sonnyecho9195 it’s pretty easy really - 25 g of protein in a lamb chop + salad or a piece of fish + salad- - with cheese 🧀 and or egg- done ✅ That’s about 60 to 70 g of Protein easy

Smh
Deuteronomy 28:36 TMH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
Deuteronomy 28:64
And TMH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
Just as important as "what's his name," is "what is not his name."
However, it is 100% certain that his name was not Esus Crios aka “Jesus Christ”, the idol of the Celtics who the Catholics sing at Easter in the Vatican, aka what all surface level “Holy Bible” readers (Commonly identifies as “Christians”) refer to the Anointed One as.
It is personal accountability and the sooner we accept this, the closer we will become to actually making the decisions that will make us submit fully to his will
And for those of you who deny the existence of The Most High or don’t take the ancient scriptures seriously, you need to seriously wake up.
We’re living in end times yall. APTTMH!

Thx u!❤️🌎
I've wanted to do a Dutch test for a long time. did you interpret the results yourself??
I agree!
Yes!
Yes! Many ppl don't realize that the body processes exercise as stress and therefore triggers an inflammatory responses in the body. "Gentler" exercises such a yoga, pilates and aquafit - even just walking are best for certain illnesses and disorders.

I have worked as a beautician and holistic therapist, and I can assure you that there can be a lot of cellulite on the belly and arms, too.
Did it just go way in the places that were actually *bared to* the Sun?_
I wear sundresses, skirts, & skorts, but they come down to just above my knees (I'm pretty modest...
...& old).
Did you lose cellulite in *_just the parts of your legs that the Sun touched?_*
Or, do you think it was because you were *_increasing your EXPOSURE, all around?_*
I could go in the more-private back yard & hike my dress up higher, I guess...
...but, I have cellulite on my booty, too.
_And, there ain't _*_NEAR ENOUGH_*_ privacy to be baring _*_THAT,_*_ in my unfenced yard! 😂_
Given those parameters...
...I wonder if Sun would, indeed, be helpful for me, _if the Sun needs to _*_actually touch_*_ the areas with cellulite._
If it's a matter of _simply increasing your _*_overall exposure_*_ to the Sun,_ then that is something I can work on.
Thank you!❤

This makes so much sense! I never had cellulite when I was younger, despite being much, much heavier than I am now. Yep! I noticed cellulite in my arms when I started losing weight. Looks like cellulite anyway.
I got it on my arms & stomach when i went thru menopause. So it’s the estrogen levels.

Hello Dr Berg! This short exercise of mine is related to your cellulite video! I started to target exercise my butt, thighs and hip areas with a morning wakeup and before overnight sleep
simple routione while lying on my bed (or on my floor exercise mat):
Lie on your back, lifting your legs keeping your feet turned forward toward you and keep your knees straight and unbent throughout most of this relatively short targeted workout.
Open your legs and drop them to the sides as far as is comfortable without forcing your legs down 8 times in as row.
Then cross your legs over each other each other before lowering them down at the sides with the same good stretch movement.
Your thighs can be turned outward easily while bending your knees up while lifting your legs toward you which warms and helps break up or melt butt, hip and inner thigh
fat and cellulite deposits.
Your upper thighs, butt and hips get the movement to build the body warmth from all the stretching of these areas which we don't usually get from other exercises
other than squats.
Much of my butt, hip and thigh cellulite is gone now along with the excess fat I have lost in these areas. They are noticeably slimmed down. My jeans and swimsuits fit these areas
like they should on nice, smooth sexy curves. My unsightly "cellulite craters" and their ajoining body fat are gone or noticeably smoothly diminished in appearance now.

So you basically had a lot of collagen in your diet. That makes sense based on the info this video. Good luck to you!
You are on to something right there. Return to your traditional diet and I'm willing to bet the cellulite will go away.
It's nothing to make it. Water, vinegar (liberally) and spices. Slow cooker for 8+ hours. Freeze.

Thanks
I’m not fat and I have cellulite on my arms. I hate it.

This walks reaps benefits for your
hips, butt and inner and outer thighs !
(Walking at a speeded pace or taking large steps causes us to lean forward and only our shoulders and arms get the benefit of all that
energy filled heated muscle work).
This helps get the hard to reach inner thigh fat and the back of your butt cellulite to move forward and
warm up to help burn off that fat and cellulite. Your inner thighs will smooth which makes your outer thighs smaller. Your torso will slightly turn from side to side
as you walk which warms your waist and your outer hips to help them smooth out also.
You are not in total control on a treadmill and you will not get the body strengthening, muscle heat or physical energy
that self walking gives you!
I'm gonna try this!
there is an entire book on this topic, proper walking to engage glutes…8 Steps to Pain Free Back by Ester Gokhale.
I’m glad to hear you are sharing this with students ! You are a great teacher ! Real life stuff
Cardio, weight training, massages, vitamin e tablets, and cleaner eating has helped me immensely. I will be using the vibration machine which I hear helps a lot too!
Oh vit e helps??
Dear Dr. Berg,
Im 36 and got diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, could you do a video about that? Everyone always talks about menopause and I think POI gets overlooked too often. Would love to hear what you can tell about it.
Thank you!
Dry fasting per Phoenix Protocol is likely fastest way to reset hormonal system and repair possible damage or toxicities to ovaries. Not exactly easy but it is free. Yt chan.
POI? 🤔
May I ask what your symptoms were and how you were diagnosed?
For real???
Thank you.❤

The period of my life where I had ZERO cellulite was when I trained like an Olympian athlete. I worked out three hours a day at the gym and rode my racing bike around White Rock Lake (Dallas) every afternoon. The burn that you get in your quads , butt and hamstrings is what produces the fast twitch fiber effect! Incredible definition . Also I drank lime water ALL the time which is great for your liver and skin.
Well most girls can't afford to work out like that
Marion are you still driven with training? I feel like it’s just part of who will always be. “Gym Rat” however, I feel as though as we age, we experience these things… this is good info.
@@josie9583 its as doctor berg said. Hormonal balance comes from the inside. if your liver and other organs are clean. If your lymph system is moving. And your insulin and cortisol within normal range, then your hormones balance out and it shows on your skin too. That's why creams and beauty products are laughable. Radiance comes from inside out.
Exercise and yoga definitely help. It might take some time to see results but it does ultimately

Fasting long enough can break down any fat, sounds like this requires prolonged salt water fasting and/or several sessions of dry fasting.

Weird cause many have said their cellulite went away with training
Yes I use the same. It actually feels nice reversing the movement. I have always thought it made sense. This video explains why!
