Laser treatments please! Especially for discoloration and rosacea. My face game has been strong over the past year (thanks to you!), and I really wanna add a laser adjunct to get rid of the redness. I work in a hospital and everyday I have people commenting on my face and how smooth and youthful my skin looks. People often mistake me for being almost 10 years younger and ask me for my secrets! I tell them it's consistency, your channel, and the damn sunscreen! Thanks for all you do!
Melissa Moore- I agree w you. My Derm recommended laser to get rid of rosecea and broken blood vessels. You have to do 2 or more and must have zero tan and stay out of sun. Treatments 3 mo apart I believe.
Good Morning Nerds, I'm a 60 year old nerd who has always cared for her skin BUT who also loved a bit of sun. We didn't exactly have sunscreen in the late 60's and early 70's. I love the products from Dr. Idriss and will say they improved my discoloration ( I have melasma and hyperpigmentation) almost immediately. I had 3 stubborn sports which my derm prescribed a hydroquinone/kojic acid compound cocktail which knocked it out in a month. Thanks for all of the information you provide here. I'm also a retired OR nurse who spent hours upon hours with plastic surgeons on skin, skin care etc while assisting on long surgery cases. Have happy nerdy week everyone. 😎
"Good morning nerds!" Dr. Idriss is so smart and sweet! Love it!❤ I'm in the same boat as you...55yo and in my blissful youth I enjoyed my fair share of mindless tanning days. And just like Dr. Idriss pointed out, I am now mostly bothered by the mix of freckles/sun spots/discoloration/hyperpigmentation on my skin. I think it ages my appearance more than anything and no makeup sits well over the uneven background. May I kindly ask whether the products you mentioned helped you are from Dr. Idriss' line? if so, do you use all 3 of them? Anything else you found efficient? I've been searching and researching to find "the safest and most appropriate laser" for evening skin tone but there's so much "infomercial" out there that's quite difficult to separate the hype from the tested and true... let alone the challenges of finding a great dermatologist and/or an experienced laser provider. I'm in the Boston area... just in case anyone has any good recommendations. Thank you so much for sharing your experience! And much continued success on your skin care journey!🫂

I would love to see a video on laser treatments for redness, broken capillaries and brown spots. Whats the downtime for these laser treatments, best lasers etc. thanks!! Love the video!
ask your well-practiced and research derm/dr/plastic surgeon about bbl! Broad band light. I came in for this exact reason, few acne scar pigmentation and brown tones from youthful years doing cross country. I have broken capillaries and redness near my nose from blowing too hard and light rosacea. He recommended the bbl to even the skin tone as anything else I was inquiring about (halo and Morpheus 8) were overkill and mainly were for scarring and also way more expensive, but would only be a once a year treatment (halo) and the Morpheus would destroy fat in the face. No thank you!!! The bbl is recommended about 3 sessions at ~$500 each and I might even like it after one session and stop there. I get it done this upcoming Monday! Also asked my derm cousin about it and he approved ☺️
I just had my 3rd BBL and it has been amazingly effective at removing two broken capillaries and lots of excess pigment. Topical products weren’t having the impact I wanted to see. It feels like a windburn the day of. Day 2 and 3 I saw darkened pigment. Don’t try to remove it! Let it come off on its own in the next 5-10 days. Downtime was really zero. You can wear makeup. Hope you find something that works for you!
Hi Dr Idriss I'm suffer from melasma , hyperpigmentation all of this crap, and I agree with you that those spots are the ones that make me look older. I'm latina on menopause that also aggravate everything. so I really appreciate your advice. You are a beautiful woman inside and out. thank you

Thank you for all your work and your incredibly informative videos that don't talk down to consumers, and don't fear monger! I watch and re-watch them so much because I really do love the science of skincare. It's gotten to the point that my husband now knows more about skincare than most people from passively absorbing it by being in the same room.
Your videos are among the few that are truly informative on ingredients and compositions (even for someone that knows already quite a bit) so thank you! Please start shipping your products to the UK/Europe!!!!
The fact that nobody talks about subliminal affirmations for perfect skin and beauty on Borlest speaks volumes about how people are missing out. Trust me on this-using subliminals can change your life. The power of the mind to heal and transform your skin is incredible when you tap into the right frequencies.
The fact that you are trying to take a ride on the popularity of someone who actually has actionable solutions for skin issues, that do work, speaks volume on your speculative attitude and desperation for money 🙂
Can you do a video on skin care and pregnancy? There are so many products to avoid and I feel like that would drastically change one’s skincare routine
You have single handedly improved my oily acne prone skin, thank you so much Dr Shereene!!! Could you please now do a video on androgenic alopecia and how to reverse it?
I bought her product line and have been using all 3 products twice a day, every single day for 2 months. Not one single improvement so far. But the products are nice.
Thank you for sharing your experience. What you shared was exactly what I was hoping to hear from others who have used her product. I have tried so many products that contain all the ingredients that she mentioned but no improvements after over 3 months using them, so I started thinking maybe I should try her products. I am looking for a product as maintenance after hydroquinone 4.5% prescribed by my dermatologist. The hydroquinone worked wonders but after 4 weeks, my Malasma always re-appeared. Since my dermatologist advised me not to use it for more than 3 months at a time, she suggested products that I can use for maintenance, but no success. I am 67 years old and my Malasma started after post-menopause taking supplement. I have no wrinkles on my face, thanks to my genes. Again, thank you so much. I still watch Dr. Idriss. I get good information watching all her videos. She's a crack-up and fun to watch🤣😂
I really enjoy your videos, and appreciate you explaining hyperpigmentation. One thing I wish you’d cover in future videos is how to build an anti-aging routine for mature, reactive skin. Also I’d love to learn about best evening routines using retinoids (I use Trentonin .05). FYI, I’m 60 years old and I have moderately sensitive skin, I have to be very careful with fragrance, exfoliation, and acids, including ascorbic acid (THA in tiny doses is the most I can handle without getting a rash). Thank you for all your videos, they are really helpful and informative.
I was googling your Forbes Magazine cover when you mentioned it was a joke. 😆 No wonder I couldn't find it. Thank you for all the helpful info. Your videos AND the products you created, which I have been using, have transformed my skin. Thank you!
Happy birthday!! You look about 21 years old.. And very beautifull!! I would like to suggest a video about the best skincare for hands. Esp. for women over 50. Also I would love a video on how to work against getting saggy skin, after weightloss...
@intotheblue970 So you're trying to say she doesn't have good skin for 40yrs old?? Behave yourself. She does plenty of bare videos were it's pretty obvious it's her skin with no filter or makeup. I sense jealousy? She has great skin for 40 years old!
Please do a video about Ultherapy, and explain how a skilled provider is able to do Ultherapy safely. What do they do differently from an unskilled provider to avoid damaging facial fat? Thanks.
@@lindalamb7512 Right now I just have the depuffer and it’s amazing. After a few weeks I notice less puff around my eyes. I’m still waiting on the rest. The depuffer sold me that’s why I bought them all!!

Agreed! I'd love to do a laser treatment to help me make further progress with these serious hyperpigmentation issues I've developed as a Latina in my late 50s, but I'm afraid that they might exacerbate the issue. I've heard that's a possibility with skin of color. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO! Love your channel, Dr. Idriss!
My fave topic from my fave derma content creator! I’m in my 30s and when I started watching you I started taking care of myself especially when it comes to skin care. Still to this day, my fave video is the hyperpigmentation video when you reached 50k subs. ❤
DO THE VIDEO ON LASER TREATMENTS PLEASE!!! As you said at the end, I’ve been dedicated to my at home routine for years but I’m mid 30s and never have done any in office procedure. I’d love to learn more about types of lasers that are most popular and most effective.
Wow....I subscribed to you first about 3 months ago. And I've watched quite a number of your previous videos, including ones about dark spots. It took until THIS video to realize that I was one of those patients you were talking about. I've been focusing on some loss of firmness in my neck (made a lot worse by recent weight loss), as well as some fine lines near my eyes and in my forehead, and acne along my jawline. However, I recently came across a passport that I had lost (lol) where the picture was taken 15 years ago (I was 20 then). I noted that my skin looked so much younger then, but I mostly attributed it to the fact that I looked super hydrated although I didn't even really have a skincare routine. It's also clearer then in terms of acne than it is now. But I looked at it again and I realized that it's also WAY more even-toned. I thought they were just freckles because I've had freckles for as long as I can remember. But my skin looks way more ruddy and discolored now. It must have happened slowly over the last 15 years, because I definitely didn't notice that. All I noticed was my acne returning and some fine lines starting to appear. This explains why every makeup company that has a feature where you can look into your phone's camera and it will tell you your foundation shade gives me one WAY darker than my actual tone. I couldn't figure it out, but it must have been looking at the dark spots :(. It was giving me all medium shades when I am normally somewhere between fair and light (when matching with the skin tone that goes from my jawline to my neck)...
Yes, I know exactly what you mean!! I had no idea how messy my freckles have become over the years. As concealers & foundation are a PITA to cover them. As she said our "canvas" has gotten messy. I so get it now! Ugh... I'll be purchasing her products soon!! 🫡
Hi Dr. Idriss, I just got your products delivered to Singapore, via our local post with warehouse in USA! I am super excited! Down side is I have to pay hefty tax & shipping fees, almost 45 bucks. I am trying to finish some products before I embark on a journey purely using your full set of skincare.
Love your content. May you please do a video about vitiligo. My daughter developed this about two years ago. And I’ve taken her to a dermatologist out in the Palm Springs area but haven’t seen any changes at all. If anything she just breaks out with the products the dermatologist prescribes her. Plus I feel like her vitiligo is progressing instead of getting better. Please do a video about this subject. Thank you💜💜
I’m using retinol, salicylic acid and niancinamide for years now and I’m very happy with my skin. Obviously I have very oily skin so that’s why this is the best combination for me,but I noticed some small wrinkles in eye area that I never had till now, I’m 32.
I had the most allergic, sensitive delicate, dry, complicated rosacea-prone skin you can image . I have taken meticulous care of it for serious skin health reasons since I was a teen . I am 52 year old women and people say I don’t have wrinkles and look 35 !! I say instead I am aging gracefully cause I had the fortune of good skin health care since I was a young woman ! Sunblock and not exposing my skin anymore to the sun for the past 20 years has been my savior ! Never late to start ! !! I just started with The Depuffer so far so good no reactions !! I will keep you posted with results as I just got a little bit of aging puff and normal light baggyness !
Hi Dr Idriss, thank you for all the great advice. I used gycolic acid and the absorption for the niad at 5% is more effective and my pigmentation has lightened so much after a month. Amazing!
Finally I got my First set of your Major Fade plus the depuffer which I requested my friend in NY to buy for me and brought it all the way here in the Philippines. Excited to use it by May. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for being a voice of reason in the midst of all the crazy skincare opinions out there! I'd love to hear about those little red veins that show up around the eyes and random places, maybe burst capillaries? Looks like a tiny red worm under my skin haha. Once they're there they never leave!!
Those broken capillaries are best treated w/azaleic acid, which you can get OTC. For Rx strength, go to a dermatologist. I’ve used both, It’s worked for me.
So . . . personally, as someone with a variety of concerns, uneven texture is the worst. At least discoloration can be concealed. Fine lines are natural and expected, but uneven texture stands out and creates "discoloration" through shadows. BUT I love your line and I think it's so important that it exists and can target hyperpimentation
Hello Dr. Idriss! A week ago I got second degree burns on my whole arm in an kitchen accident. My derm was not really helpful in telling me how to care for the wounds and the hyperpigmentation or scars that will remain afterwards. I feel a bit lost and sad that it will take years to fade and just wanted to ask if you could do a video about caring for burns.
I'm so sorry, it seems like no matter what these days, (not all) Drs. Send you out with almost no information about your situation at all! Or send you off to another specialist and so on & on…I really hope she sees your message and you get the help you should have already had!!!! Also, if you don't use the cream with silver in it or something like that took a lot of my scars away! I dropped boiling water on my foot years ago! Maybe ask about it?
I am so sorry, I know how painful it is. I have the best dermatologist. Everything he has ever done on me has never left a scar. He told me the secret was to never let a scar/wound dry out. I use polysporin (generous amounts) & cover with gauze for two weeks. I would change it daily, but I never let the wound dry out. I could never find where he cut me. I was in a bad wreck & had my neck fused. My neurosurgeon told me not to put anything on it. Going from the front of my neck to the back was more invasive & scared me. It left a terrible scar & now wished I had kept it covered. I would also check on the silicone patches for scars. I was burned badly when I was young & remember being bound up in gauze. I was only left with a tiny white scar. Arnica gel is also wonderful if the skin is not broken, although I use it on broken skin on myself. My baby granddaughter was burned from very hot coffee on her feet. I grabbed her immediately, ran cold water & reached for the arnica. It immediately took the redness away & she stopped crying. I keep a tube everywhere. It’s also great for inflammation & bruising. I wish you the very best and complete healing ❤
@@jusjamiewoodYeah it really feels like they try to get you in and out of the office as fast as possible. It wasn't even the doctor doing the bandages and stuff on my arm but the assistant. Yeah I went to an emergency surgeon afterwards to get my bandages re-done and have been going there everyday since then despite my derm telling me to leave it open because the surgeon has patients with burns everyday. Anyways I just hope the skin heals quickly and I'll have to inform myself about the aftercare 🤧 Thank you so much for your kind words and I also hope that she sees my comment! (Hope you are also doing better with no scarring after your burn)
@@sheilacampOmg you just helped me A LOT with your comment! My derm said to let the (still open) wound air dry with a thin layer of a cream. When I went to an emergency surgeon he put some other cream inside the bandage and has been changing them everyday since then. It was difficult to hear conflicting advice but I feel a lot better now hearing about what you know. I am so glad that you have a derm you can trust fully! That is amazing. I will look into the remedies you said and also the silikone patches. It's also a bit hard to tell when I can start to use what. Like what stages is what okay to use but I hope I can manage! 😊
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! This was soo helpful and I’m excited to finally incorporate some better active ingredients into my skincare routine. Also really wanting to try your line!💗
I would love to learn about lasers for overall redness and wrinkles. What kind of lasers are appropriate for what kind of skin? Do we need a series of 3? Do you adjust the strength depending on age of skin, or if someone is very fair?
I’m a person who never comments, but I can’t resist this 40 year old board-certified dermatologist😂 I’m a new nerd 😅 and I purchased all of your products. "You are an honor roll student and just want to go wild" 🤣 You don't know how much this meant to me 🙏🏽 I only wish I knew this 23 plus years ago as I've aged significantly in last 3 years (from 39-42) like @out of nowhere" and I don't recognize myself and as you can imagine it really has me down, like super down. I have tried almost all ingredients you mentioned and nothing, now they weren't your products or likely same strength. I only began tretinoin a couple months ago. Thank you so much for all your great, informative videos. I’ve been following you for awhile and use your products for over a year! I was so happy for you to see them in Sephora! I tried it all 😢 I got Vitamin C, Azelaic, Niacinamide and Retinal in my skincare since years und recently upped it to the Dr idriss system and Hydroquinone + Tretinoin from my derm. Of course the melasma are lighter than three years ago, when I did nothing. But they are definitely not gone after 8 weeks. A video about laser options would be great ❤
I’ve been using Hydroquinone for 3 months now. I do not use it every day because I also use prescription Tretinoin….of course at night only. I’m now starting to add other items a little bit at a time. I have noticed a difference and know it takes time. Also…..I wear THE DAMN SUNSCREEN!!!

Which subliminals have you been following?
I have used subliminals for job search and I do believe in them and I saw the results.
Consistency over intensity. #truth 👌🏼 Thanks Dr. Idriss! Your videos are always helpful and informative. 🤗

Can you do a video on skin care and pregnancy? There are so many products to avoid and I feel like that would drastically change one’s skincare routine
hydroquinone 4-8% use with breaks
retinol
azelaic 0-10%, 15% acne active inflammation
Your content is amazing but also you’re so pretty 😭 I just love looking at u and listening to you talk
You have single handedly improved my oily acne prone skin, thank you so much Dr Shereene!!! Could you please now do a video on androgenic alopecia and how to reverse it?
Very interesting! It would be great to get a rosaceae routine update please.
I am 16 now but started wearing sunscreen since 12. So glad that I did.
Thank you for going on (Clear Details), saying each product that makes a Big Clear difference
Great to see you back. Thanks, from Australia.
I like the way you explain everything about skin care. I just found another board certified dermatologist on YT. You’re my fave!❤
I have never seen such a beautiful doctor 😘❤️
BEST LED AND NECK MASK ON THE MARKET PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for this video. You always explain everything in a way that actually makes sense unlike some people on here. Love what your wearing as well.
LOL it's a filter
@intotheblue970 So you're trying to say she doesn't have good skin for 40yrs old?? Behave yourself. She does plenty of bare videos were it's pretty obvious it's her skin with no filter or makeup. I sense jealousy? She has great skin for 40 years old!
@@intotheblue970just say ur jealous lol
I love to hear your opinion on laser treatment options for dark spots, acne scars, uneven texture and tone. Thank you❤
She did.. it’s called (laser treatment for fine lines, pigmentation & redness)
Please do a video about Ultherapy, and explain how a skilled provider is able to do Ultherapy safely. What do they do differently from an unskilled provider to avoid damaging facial fat? Thanks.
I just bought all 3 of your products. A video on using just your products would be amazing !
YESS 😊
Kristakar. How do you like her products?
@@lindalamb7512 Right now I just have the depuffer and it’s amazing. After a few weeks I notice less puff around my eyes. I’m still waiting on the rest. The depuffer sold me that’s why I bought them all!!
Have you seen a difference?
@@doritnyc7623 yes. The puffiness under my eyes has gone down probably 50%. My rosacea has calmed down. I reordered and I set up the subscription. I love it
Would love video on lasers to use on skin of colour for hyperpigmentation and skin tightening.
Love your channel.
Idriss!
Do you ship products to UK?
I've been waiting for this video, perfect timing! I have noticed dark spots creeping up now after 40..
You’ve totally upped my skincare game! I loooove your products ❤
Please recommend more body washes! I couldn’t find either in your ShopMy
My fave topic from my fave derma content creator! I’m in my 30s and when I started watching you I started taking care of myself especially when it comes to skin care. Still to this day, my fave video is the hyperpigmentation video when you reached 50k subs. ❤
Is this a different video then this one??
Please do one on laser treatments!! Thank you for blessing us with all of this education 💛
Second video on lasers and peels PLEASE! 🙏🏼💜
Hi Dr. Idriss, I just got your products delivered to Singapore, via our local post with warehouse in USA! I am super excited! Down side is I have to pay hefty tax & shipping fees, almost 45 bucks. I am trying to finish some products before I embark on a journey purely using your full set of skincare.
Please tell us about what you think about dermaplanning. THANK YOU!!!! xxx
Thank you💜💜
@shereeneidriss laser treatments that compliment a skincare routine to address melasma would be amazing!! Thank you ❤
So glad I watched this video. And excited to try your fade system once I finish my current products.
Love ❤️ your videos. Can you please do a video on adult/hormonal acne and oily skin and the recommended products for it.
I’m using retinol, salicylic acid and niancinamide for years now and I’m very happy with my skin. Obviously I have very oily skin so that’s why this is the best combination for me,but I noticed some small wrinkles in eye area that I never had till now, I’m 32.
Amazing presentation of medical information as usual! Love learning from you!!
A great video! What products would you recommend for us we live in the UK and cannot get any of your products ???
This was amazing and I feel like it was custom tailored for me 💕
Have you considered making the Hyper serum tube clear so we can tell when we are getting to the end of the tube?
Sounds like a brilliant idea! However, it’s opaque to protect the integrity of the ingredients, so light doesn’t ruin them. 💜
Oh that makes perfect sense. That is why you are the professionals!
Hi Dr Idriss, thank you for all the great advice. I used gycolic acid and the absorption for the niad at 5% is more effective and my pigmentation has lightened so much after a month. Amazing!
Great. But can you give us recommendations of products that you can find outside US?
BUT I love your line and I think it's so important that it exists and can target hyperpimentation
please do a video related to korean skincare!
I think you're so awesome. I love your honesty and openness. ❤
Hello Dr.

You don't know how much this meant to me 🙏🏽 I only wish I knew this 23 plus years ago as I've aged significantly in last 3 years (from 39-42) like @out of nowhere" and I don't recognize myself and as you can imagine it really has me down, like super down. I have tried almost all ingredients you mentioned and nothing, now they weren't your products or likely same strength. I only began tretinoin a couple months ago. My skin looks a thousand times better as I looked so dull and grey BUT hyperpigmentation/age/sun spots remain and they are numerous...I hope time will reveal a more even tone. How did you get rid of your melasma? Im an RN and love listening to you and bc you have a sailors mouth like myself my gut tells me you are genuine and trustworthy 💗
