I don't have a clue why that they often exclude Tennessee as being one of our most beautiful states in the USA. Tennessee is comparable to Maine in the fall for colorful leaves on trees ... it would blow you a way on how beautiful in the fall that Tennessee and Maine are in the fall... absolutely gorgeous.

I'm a multi-generational East Tennessee native, with ancestors living here before it was a state.
You should find a video tour of Cades Cove. It's an area in the Smokey Mountains that's been preserved as a National Park. It still has the log cabins and rustic churches and other buildings that were built by the earliest settlers to cross the mountains, and their descendants. Colonial Williamsburg preserves a small American city as it was at time of the Revolution and Cade Cove preserves an isolated rural community as it was between the late 1700's all the way up through the early 20th century.

It is a relatively big city with a small town feel and extraordinarily friendly people. Also, the scenery is beautiful and the food is great!

She was referring to her National Park Passport. That is a book that you can buy that has pages for each property managed by the National Park Service (way more than just the official parks such as monuments and battlefields). You get an official stamp on the page when you visit the location like a passport stamp but is just a for fun keepsake. It’s a lifetime process to fill that book!

I'm in Virginia everyday pretty much, I shop there to save on sales tax. I'm surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I'll tell you it is the prettiest part of the state if you like mountains. Surrounding the hospital is the University and down from the University are many restaurant and places that have bands. Nashville is where many country musicians go to break into country music so you will see many people playing around the area. Tennessee is also home to the Tennessee River Valley. I have to say first of all to all the University of Tennessee, congratulations on winning the national baseball championship title!!
I am from Nashville Tennessee, (TN) the city that you saw with the Parthenon. That building was built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the city of Nashville. It's in the middle of a park called centennial, which is walking distance from Broadway.
Radnor lake is very near Nashville and the downtown Broadway area which is mostly for tourists. Where the Nashville predators play ice hockey and where we have lots of concerts. The Cumberland River also runs right down by the end of Broadway and it's really beautiful and that's where you saw all those bridges and we have a big river boat that you can go on and all kinds of things.
Most of her video was in Middle TN. Our state is much wider than it is tall.
There are three stars on our flag and they represent the three geographic sections of our state because they are so different.
Middle TN Is rolling hills some of them pretty big but they're still hills, lots of lakes some very big, and lots of rivers.
It is beautiful I feel very blessed to be a native of the state and to have lived here most of my life. I just travel a few hours to the west and I'm in Memphis where there's great Delta Blues music, and the Mississippi River.
About 4 and 1/2 5 hours to the east are the Appalachian mountains which we share with North carolina. I hope you get to see some videos of both of those areas.
In one of her videos they are having breakfast at a restaurant just about a mile from my house called the Loveless Cafe. My son works as a server there. Great southern cooking and a fun atmosphere.
Some other things we have to do in the Nashville are Nascar racing lots of University sports, festivals, professional Baseball, the Sounds, Hockey, The Predators, and Football, The Titans.
There's plenty to keep you busy here. Many people love it it's one of the fastest growing cities in the country, partially because the state of Tennessee has no state income tax. It also helps that we have a couple of major medical centers here.
If you ever decide to make it to Tennessee I hope you let your fans here know and we'll be glad to welcome you and make sure you get to all the great and fun places that are not just for tourists!!

They are mostly docile and friendly to humans as long as you respect their space and don't feed them. And when it comes to country music I dont think I can recommend anyone else but the legend herself Dolly Parton who is from The great Smokey Mountains area, she even has an amazing amusement park named after her that I visit at least 6 times a year.

Seeing a black bear is nice. For the sake of the bears, I beg you to stay in your car away from the bear. While you will be a responsible visitor, as recent videos of bears interacting with people in downtown Gatlinburg will attest, too many bears are losing their fear of humans. Once that happens, their time on this earth is short.

I will always favor the Pacific Northwest for shear beauty but I lived in Memphis for a year while I was in the Navy and that area is gorgeous! It doesn't take long to get into rural areas and there are so many small towns that are just amazing and people are just as great. Totally loved my time there. It was this first time I'd seen lightning bugs :) And yes, Jack Daniels (one of America's national treasures) is made in Tennessee.

I did my undergraduate work in east TN. I god back almost every summer for workshops at a craft school in Gatlinburg. It is beautiful in the mountains. If you go, I'd recommend staying on the Townsend side rather than the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg side, unless you like traffic and crowds.
In the spring, the dogwoods come out and trillium, lady's slippers, dutchman's britches, jack-in-the-pulpits and bloodroot bloom. In June and July the rhododendrons and azaleas bloom. (The Andrews Bald Trail is amazing this time of year.) In early June, the synchronized fireflies are incredible.
You can drive around Cades Cove and see how the early European settlers lived in the area or go over the mountains into NC to Oconaluftee Village and see how the Cherokee lived in those days. Outside the park you can go tubing on the Little Pigeon River.

I lived in Tennessee for most of my life. I absolutely love it. (I recently had to move out of state and I miss it.) Regarding the lake - not likely alligators, more likely you'd find copper head snakes. The bald eagle is definitely an American symbol. Tennessee is one of the most beautiful states I've been to (and I've been to a lot of states.) I think those birds were wild turkeys.

The week before last my wife and I traveled from Ohio down to Atlanta, Georgia. Due to major traffic issues in Knoxville, Tennessee we had to reroute through country roads, and I'm so glad. The quaint towns and beautiful countryside in Tennessee and Kentucky were a real treat. I felt like I was transported back into the 19th century. Country music--I love ballads, so the late great Mr. Kenny Rogers, Mr. George Strait, the late Mr. John Denver, and Mr. Alan Jackson would be at the top of my list. Although I'm living at my 35th address in places all over the world, I've lived in Texas for almost 25 years, to include San Antonio and Austin, and 6th Street in Austin is "hopping." I've been to New Orleans a number of times, and it's "energetic," but the smell dampens the overall experience in my opinion. And, oh by the way, I bought my wife a Mustang convertible a while back--what a great car.

Franklin is a suburb of Nashville. It resides in Williamson County. Williamson County is one of the ten most wealthy counties in America. This is where most of the country music stars, music executives, and professional athletes live. Everyone from Dolly Parton to Luke Bryan has a house there. As you can imagine, it's pretty expensive.
You may or may not know that Nashville's nickname is Music City since most of the country music is recorded in and around the city. Every major record label has a studio in town on Music Row, and all the bars on Broad Street have live bands playing every night, all year round. It's also home to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Country Music Awards. It's a pretty big tourist city for Americans. It's also a major destination for musicians who want to make it big in the music industry. The bands who play at the bars all across the area are generally really good because the talent pool is so deep. Many of the famous country music stars started out playing in these bands.
There's also plenty of other types of music, not just country music, but country music is the bread and butter of the music scene in Nashville.

Watching from Nashville, TN, born and raised. ;) No alligators in our lakes...yet. They seem to be migrating further north over the last decade or so. We do have snapping turtles though, and those can take off a finger. It's generally safe to swim in the lakes though. We're the country music capital of the world. The Grand Old Opry "mother church of country music" put us on the map. There's live music downtown seven days a week, and even more scattered around town. Taylor Swift went to high school in the suburbs and got her start playing downtown as many other country artists have done.

I grew up and currently live in a small town in West TN. TN is divided in to 3 by the Tennessee River. It is the only river in the world that runs South to North then North to South making a U that divides the state into 3 distinct geographical regions.
East TN is mountainous. Middle TN is a plateau. West TN is fertile swampy farmlands.
    Some big cities include:
Nashville (state capital and Music City; capital of US music,) is in middle TN.
Chattanooga, Knoxville, Gatlinburg are in East TN.
Memphis is in West TN. (It has the big Bass Pro Shop in the Pyramid in a video you had reacted to.)
The state has a large variety of beautiful State and National Parks that are worth visiting. The most popular destination is Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg in the Smoky Mountains ("Smoky" on the TN side. "Blue Ridge" on the North Carolina side.)
If you drive East to West, or vice versa, it takes 9-10 hours. Also, East TN is an hour ahead, in a different timezone, than Middle and West TN.

Our daughter lived and worked in Nashville for about a decade. Radnor Lake was her favorite local hiking spot. I'm typing this from an hour away on the border of Kentucky. Tennessee is beautiful. I'm originally from Northern Michigan, which is also beautiful, but my childhood friends always comment about the beauty of Tennessee. Everything in this video is in the Nashville area. Lots of sensory overload for me, but lots of folks love it. I live in a quieter part of the state, but I go into Nashville about once a week. That's just about enough for me. Because of popularity and tourism, it's become a bit too busy for my tastes, but lots of folks love it.

I live 45 minutes from Nashville. The Parthenon replica is in Nashville and is near the Tennessee State Museum which shows our states history including the native american history.
Also, not sure uf you spotted that the Bald Eagle Talon was a replica. Since the Bald Eagle is a Federally recognized endagered species to this day (not to mention the national bird) it is illegal to showcase any real parts of it.

My husband and I are “Damned Yankees.” We moved to Tennessee and haven’t left! Originally, we were from the Northeast. We have been living in TN for the last 44 years. Eight years in Knoxville and the rest in Chattanooga. We love Chattanooga because: the weather is milder; the cost of living is quite reasonable; there are great outdoor activities with beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls; it’s 1 1/2 hours drive to Knoxville, a 2 hours drive to Nashville, and a little over 2 hours drive to Atlanta, GA. “So y’all come and see us now, ya hear!” 😀
