I have a history of being horrible at finishing projects because i think i’m not advanced enough to complete them. You’ve made me realize i just needed the right teacher, i’m getting further in my projects than i ever thought i would and truly enjoy crocheting fully again, i almost gave up on it altogether, but you’ve helped me understand so much more! 💕
Awwww you made my day! So happy to hear that you didn't give up! If you ever need help with anything just reach out to me! Thank you for your lovely comment! Please never give up! 🥰
A fantastic pattern! I've made 3 different pairs already :)Hands down the BEST sock pattern I have found on RUclips! Also works great with a Worsted weight yarn and a 5mm hook. I started with a Ch 6 and 3 INC rows for a US 8/8.5 shoe size.
Anyone interested in a size 39 EU: it was 22 rows after the increases for me to reach the heel part. (Total 26 rows to reach the heel.) For the heel part I needed 10 rows. For the decreases part: 4 rounds of decreases then an additional 5th round without any decrease: 41 stitches at the end. For the ribbing part: go as long as you feel like :)
Hi! Sorry to bother. Im on my 4th attempt at this and my joined areas keep turning out diagonal insteas of straight 😭 would you have any idea of what it is Im doing wrong?
@brunaticality I want to say thank you. I've been crocheting for over 30 years and this is the easiest sock pattern ever and it fits so perfectly. The way you demonstrated each important stitch and fitting is why this sock is so easy to make. anyone can do this. There is no stress in making these. You did an amazing job and now I can make sock that fit and for everyone in my family. Also thanks for modeling them, and the close up shots for stitches. It can be overwhelming when you aren't sure how things are finished or decreases and you did great. I'd rather have every minute to watch close up and fast forward if I need to, than to not have that info. Thank you for giving us such great details and beautiful pattern. ❤️
Ok after messing up 3 times here’s what helped me…. Count the total amount of stitches after the increases and count every row to make sure you have that same number each time…. Also helps to mark your last stitch each row… back to basics
i think this should be my best tutorial for crocheting. Im just 10 years old,but i make 4 pair of socks on your youtube chanel. Thank you very much and I hope that i will crochet like you one day☺
aww thank you so much! So happy you like my videos and channel! 🤩🤩 Woow! That's so lovely to hear. If you are making socks you're already an expert! ❤❤ Keep up! Happy crocheting! ❤
I have sensory processing disorder and socks have always been a bother for me. They cause me severe pain. Now my daughter has the same problem and I've been searching everywhere for a sock pattern that would help, this is it! Thank you so much! I can't explain how our lives will improve because of this pattern. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Hello, I am so sorry you and your daughter suffer with sensory. Can you please email me and tell me what helps you and what it actually feels like to have the pain as my granddaughter has this as well. I want to understand it better. God Bless.
Hey, Thanks for this Tutorial! I only got a tiny feedback on the turning points of the rounds of the toe part I'm what I'd call an advanced beginner so I got the first rounded edge right but at the second part I wasn't sure if I picked the right stitch to put the increases in I slowed it to 0.5 and zoomed in real good and it works but I'd appreciate a little slower pointing out of the important placements Like as we know there are multiple ways to for example fill in another stitch to avoid holes in the result , ut I've found every crocheter has their own ways Anyways these were my twos cents (with much love) this is a great video and I'm very glad you put it together, Thank you so much and many blessings 😊
Thank you Brunaticality for this lovely socks'pattern 🥰 However, I also met a huge problem with having a seam not straight and a sock going narrower. I saw that many persons had this problem too. So here is my solution to have a straight and invisible seam with keeping a sock with the same width all along AND with NO holes (Don't forget to well tight your thread at the last HDC + slip stitch): Do everything same except when you make the row with the 2 chains, make your first HDC directly into the first V...Here it is 😄😁😏👏👏👏🎉
I'm making these socks right now, but the body is getting narrower instead of staying the same width - I seem to be losing a stitch with every row I complete, even though I'm following the instructions exactly! Any advice? EDIT: Just worked out how to make the sock body straight and stop narrowing: the ch 1 row with the trick stitch at the end is fine, the dec is happening in the ch 2 row. To remedy this, instead of slip-stitching into the first hdc of the row to close the round, slip-stitch into the 2nd ch of the ch 2. Hope that helps anyone who's stuck on the same part! :)
This tutorial was absolutely amazing and ive wanted to make a pair of sicks for ages and i finally did today!!!! Thank you so much this was so clear and helpful!!
I’ve wanted a simple toe-up crochet sock. I started a pair well before Christmas and hadn’t saved the video. When I checked out easy crochet toe-up socks, your name sounded familiar, and here is the video!!! I have one started and am starting the second one. One from the outside of the yarn and one from the inside of the yarn. I think you worked on the Harry Styles sweater, also. Your name comes readily up for “easy” creations, for me! Thanks for being here.❤
I love these socks and can't wait to make them. I'm 65 and still a little scared about trying to knit socks so since I have been Crocheting for 53 years these are great and I have the perfect yarn to do them in. . might be longer because my boots are nearly to my knees.hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹☮️🦄🤩😘 stay safe from the pandemic madness we are all going through my friend
I tried two patterns (unraveled both sock projects after many hours of work 😢) before finding this video. You did such a great job of showing precisely which stitches to go into, etc. This is an excellent pattern. I love my socks! Thank you! 🧦 ❤️
This is by far the best sock tutorial on youtube! You are a fantastic teacher. I love the dtailed explanation regarding the sizing and the heel construction which sets this pattern apart from all others. WELL DONE!!!
@@brunaticality You did great!! . I am a knitter and have been working on socks for several years. I know socks construction well. As a crocheter as well, I know how difficult heels are. The afterthought and the shortrow heels in crocheting are very difficult, so shaping the heels the way you did is the best alternative especially for sock beginners. The way you explained the sizing was perfect too. Feet are probably the most difficult part of the body to fit and your method worked out great. It takes patience and practice and people need to be reminded to keep trying and remember how hardit is to make a pattern and then show a tutorial. Well done!!!
Muchas gracias por ser tan explícita!... Hello❤ Thanks a lot for your tutorial, it was extremely useful and helpful, the easiest pattern ever 🫶 I was wondering if I could use the same pattern but do single crochet instead of HDC. I would be really grateful for your advice 😌

I find this tutorial anything but easy ! Even tho I made with your exact pattern there’s something wrong wouldn’t call it easy I’ve seen some much easier than this.
Much easier but the finished sock here is much closer to knitted than anything else. Perfect socks are knitted because you have a detailed heel turn in knitting which you cannot create with crochet. This pattern is by far the closest to a perfect sock. This pattern is not complicated. It is just perfected. Have fun creating socks!

I normally don’t comment on people’s videos, but I’m sorry these comments are a little too imaginative. For an ACTUAL beginner this pattern is certainly not super easy once you get 26:00 minutes in and you’re trying to keep her 18 count even though we’re skipping the first stitch. I’ve redone it 3 times and I either can’t keep 18sts or I just can’t get into that first chain like she says. This pattern sadly made me extremely frustrated for 3 days now and I honestly just trashed the project. I don’t want this to seem like a negative comment, I just wanted to say that this pattern definitely is not “super easy” for beginners / beginner friendly.

Crochet learner here 😊 I’m just wondering, do I have to end each round with a slip stitch or can I just keep crocheting all around until I get to the size I want??
Your measurements are always reliable and helpful because we are using different yarns. Keep it up!😊I hope you could make a bikini bottom with measurements too and tips for right sizing soon.
After the toe part, do I end my alternating ch1 and ch2 rows exactly the same way, with the last stitch in between the last hdc and the chain from the start of the row? :) Or is the end also different?
Thank you very much for this excellent video. I crocheted myself a pair that I really like. Thanks again. Merci infiniment pour cet excellent vidéo. Je m'en suis crocheté une paire que j'aime beaucoup. Merci encore.🧶🧶🧶
