      I had the same issue!!! It looked like Herman Munster's Bootie! I halved the number of stochastic in the original circle and then made the number of rows before the heel based on trying it on my foot. Hope that helps.

    • @jinde75
      @jinde75 Год назад +1

      In the video the hooksize seems too small for the yarn. I would either use a smaller hook or decrease the number of Stiches.

    Something I found helpful for those with smaller feet is to decrease the amount of rounds before getting to the heel (i used 12 rounds excluding the first 3 starting rounds), as well as slightly decreasing the stitch count for those rounds from 27 to say 25. I would put the sock on my foot to gauge how big it was

    Thanks for a great pattern! I love these booties!!! Super easy and fast and so comfy! I have small feet so used a 5.5 mm hook for bottom portion in all single crochet. Hi Carla and sorry for the late reply.
      It fits a size EU 38-41, US 7,5-10, UK 5,5-8.
      My best advice is to measure it while You´re making them.
      Hope they turn out amazing. 😊

      I had to measure! Because when I did 18 rounds the slipper could fit a giant. Lol. My ladies size was 6 inches before the heel, so 13-14 rounds. Then I followed the pattern in the video for the heel (10 rows and closing the heel). My mens size I had to increase the toe size to 30 instead of 27, as 27 was too narrow for the man's wider foot. Then I measured the lenth to 7-8 inches, i forget how many rows i ended up with, but the heel i followed the pattern in the video. They turned out fantastic! I used a 6.0mm hook.

      Hi Monica.
      It depends on how tight you crochet :-) But I have seen pictures of people who made slippers suitable for elephants! 😆

    Hi , thank you for sharing this project. The only thing is that the 3rd row(2 together in same stitch and 1 stitch the next), the total stitches will be 24 and not 27.

      I was confused about this as well but theres a comment she made that you just keep going till 27sts, it's a bit more than 1 round!
      What I found was a little easier was for my brain to comprehend:
      Round 1: 6 sc in first loop of chain (6 st)
      Round 2: 2 sc in each st (12 st)
      Round 3: 2 sc than 1 sc (18 st)
      Round 4: 2 sc than 1 sc (27 st)
