Ok. I got it. Just miscommunication on my part. Listening 🎧 better now.
I have made several projects. I especially like how you explain and show (closeup) what it should look like. Slowly and softly. However I’m having issues with your easy yellow slippers. Mine looks like one round disc! Circle. What am I doing wrong?
@@nadiacoughran8163 Nadia it's not you, it's me. There is a mistake in the video. When you have 24 stitches totally, stop increasing. And keep following the video. I accidentally cut off the part where I said this.
Hello from Canada. I've tried many tutorials for slippers & I must say this is the best slipper & the instructions are very clear. I've only been crocheting 5 yrs all self taught from utube & only crochet using tutorials on utube. I just completed a pr of these slippers in about 1 hr & 15 min. I am making a bunch of these to be donated to moms & dads that are staying in a special facility to be close to their children while they are in the hospital for serious illnesses or receiving special medical attention.
Hi Jannette. I am so happy to read you like this tutorial. The reason you use my tutorial made me more happy. ❤ Thank you for making me part of this great idea❤Loves from Turkey
This is the best tutorial ever, I have been crocheting for a few months now and this is so simple, new sub!!!! Thank you so much!
Para los q estamos en México.bse nos dificulta las instrucciones. No podemos seguir. Tks.
OMG AND you have cats 😎😎🥰🥰😻😻 Purrfect. I found a pair my aunt made (worn out), but don't know how to make a new pair. These look very similar. I have hope!!😅 🙏🏽❤️
IF YOU’RE CONFUSED ABOUT WHY IT’S LOOKING LIKE A CIRCLE I HAVE AN ANWSER!!! Look at the written instructions from their website if you still can’t figure it out
In the video it skips when they do the 3rd row- follow the video for row one and two with two double crochets in each- IMPORTANT: When you get to the third row your only going to put one double crochet in each instead of two. This should make it curl into itself a little! I was very confused when mine looked like a very pretty circle.
Bingo. I havent come across a freebie tutorial/pattern that DID NOT contain errata and this is no exception. Its becauseit is too expensive hiring pattetn testers and tutorial editors. That being said, thank you fpr catchingthe mistake. Savesa lot of crocheters a migraine thinking it was something THEY wete doing wrong.
Thank you for clarifying the 3rd row. I have watched this video 4 times trying to figure out what I missed. Makes more sense now.
Just made myself a pair to wear to bed. My feet are always cold, these socks are perfect & not very tight on the ankles, thankyou for sharing ! :)
Sirin, thank you very much for the tutorial. I'm having a problem with my first three rows. The shape it has taken is that of a circle rather than a cup for the toes. Where have I gone wrong?
Yeah, I was having the same problem but then I saw in the written pattern that the first row you begin with 12, the second one you double it in each stitch to make it 24, and the third you keep it the same by making just one double crochet in each stitch (same 24). Hope that makes sense!
I had the same problem. It’s just that instructions said continue like this. A slight error in instructions.
Im having trouble getting mine to curl the circle keeps getting bigger but not folding
From the third round, you need to make only 1 dc per stitch. I was right where you are and opened my work at least 7 times before getting it right.
Yes there is an error in the explanation... Saying you need to repeat the second round means you need to always double the stitches in every new round... But like that it will never fold. Just repeat one dc per stich
Love them. Your tutorials are so easy to follow. I keep saying that because it's a fact 😁😁
Thank you.
This Canadian gal just completed my 1st pr of these slippers using a #4 hook which works perfect. In stead of making 12 rows I did 10. Its a tighter stitch & it works excellent. Started my 4th pr now. Thanks for a great video
After the 24 stitches do you put 2 dc in each stitch or just one for the 9 rows?
Great question, because I got completely lost!
Michelle Townsend I figured it out... you only put one :)
@@Irisbaby1 Thank you, Eren! I was trying to look back as she was crocheting, but I was also folding clothes. I guess I'm not too good at multitasking when it comes to watching a video.
@@Michelle.05 😁 it's not your fault, I had the same question and I was watching without interruption! 🤗 It makes sense though to make one DC in the next 9, or else it would become a bag, I guess! 😬 😄😁
Sirin is very good at responding, she will be confirming. 😇
😹We will make this 9 rows without increasing 🙈Just put 1 dc for every stitch. 💛
In your written instructions, you say to repeat row 2 nine more times. That cannot be right. Do you mean to do 1dc nine more times? You would get a great big circle if you did 2dc for nine rows. Also, in the video, you end up on the third row to get 24 dc, and completely do not show the second row. I am have crocheted for a long time, so I figured it out, but beginners would never figure out what you are doing.
So what are we supposed to do make 1 double crochet to complete the 9 rows or continue with two double crochet in each stitch ?
Yes I figured that out as well so starting on the row 3 it's 1dc per stitch for 24 stitches per row
Every video says for beginners please understand beginners don’t know anything really
Your going to fast
Hello My dear.
I finished 2 pair of slippers. I used scrap yarn.
Can yiu tell me how many yards of #4 worsted yarn I need to buy when using new yarn??
Thank you.
Can
I feel like the video skipped. One min it's on row two, with two double crochet in each/ total 24, the it skips to end of row three/also 24. However I didn't hear that row three was one double in each stitch... Then proceed with each row being one double per stitch. Is that correct?
I am having trouble with my crocheting turning into a round doily shape rather than tube-shaped. I think I am misunderstanding as well. Advice?
It has to be 1 because doing doubles it keeps growing. Trust me its huge lol
I didn't see row three. It looks like after 2DC in each C on row two...row three looks like 1 DC in each C. 🤔
I'm like you,what did I miss
I noticed what u noticed I was like whoa.. how did it already start going up lol.
I love this crochet pattern. It's so quick and easy. You are a good teacher. I made my first pair with Patons wool (USA) and they are so comfortable and attractive. Even my husband likes them. I'm making his first pair next. I love your channel.
Thank you. Glad you like it ❤❤
Idk why mine is turning into a giant flower instead of a sock
Oh I really enjoy crocheting these slippers and you were right it was easy and fast I finished them in one night again thank you 😊
I love this! So easy and satisfying to whip out a quick, cozy pair of slippers in a morning. Thank you for you amazing tutorial! 💗
‘‘Tis the season for slippers! Great tutorial, Sirin!
Thank you so so much for this tutorial! I'm totally new and all the other tutorials were so fast, they never slowed down to show what they were doing, thank you for making this easy to follow for us newbies.
Cok kolaymış!!! Tşklr!!!
These slippers are so nice, and so easy. Thanks for this tutorial. I needed one in order to make gifts!
I love how you dont really make it hard to follow your stitches.
Thank you ❤
very easy pattern. just finished my first pair. going to make more. Thank you
♥️AWESOME Sirin♥️
I would make me a pair only make them taller to cover my ankle and about 6 more rows. I broke my ankle in 3 places and it was put back together with metal plates and screws. So I need that part of my leg to stay warmer. This slipper is PERFECT for that. Thank you❣
Thank you.... just finished a pair and it only took me less than an hour. ❤️
What am i doing wrong? they do not become round, just flat :( Help
I get flat too
Hello Sirin❤️ how many grams of yarn 🧶 you need it for these pair of slippers? Thank you
i would like to know too
IT'S NOT EASY TO FOLLOW
Easiest crochet slippers ever! Great instructions! Love the ribbing around the top!
Its an easy explanation and pattern.thank you. I so much. I made a pair ...been a long time i want to make a sock .. And will make again with diffrent colours with this pattern..
Why doesn’t it work for me??? It just won’t curl up like in the video. It just stays flat like a table cloth 😢
Hermoso trabajo gracias por enseñarnos❤donde puedo comprar las agujas de esas tuya por favor gracias que Dios te bendiga😘❤🤗🇩🇴
So each stitch has 2 double crochet right? So it has 24 double crochet on each row? I tried making this now. I dont know where I went wrong. I really wanna make this :/
I am with you on this I have gone over and over but I can’t work it out, on the second row you have 24 Dc but there are 3 rows on the video
Such a good and easy to follow description. I just made mine in red. Thank you for the tutorial. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for this pattern. I cannot tell you how many attempts I have done to make slippers and they never turn out the same size or they never turn out right. This is so simple and they're beautiful when they're finished. Thank you again so much for a wonderful pattern! 🥰
After I have 24 double chrochets do I stop increasing with the next circle and do just one double chrochet in each stitch?
Hi Sirin, the 2nd round is 24 and after that the 9 rows left are also just 24?
These are so cute. I'm working on my pair this week. I also love your two kitties. They are precious and so big :0). I have two kitties of my own, but not big as yours. My one black kitty is big like a barn cat and the other one is just a normal size Russian Blue kitty. Neither one of 'em get in the middle of my crocheting, but they try to swat at my yarn haha. I saw your one kitty lay on your sock project. That was so cute. I'll come back here to ask a question if I have troubles with part of my first sock, but I'm sure I can get it going. I'm playing right now ;0).
Liz Buchanan Good luck... I am also making these slipper socks... stay safe and well...
When you start the decreases, if you decide to do 18 double, instead of 20, to leave 6 how many decreases should we do? For you, you do 4 double, then decrease, and then 6 double-turn .. so should it be 3 double, decrease, 5 double to account for the 2 stitches we didn’t do?
For me it was a bit harsh understand because of your accent but I will hopefully complete my very own pair
Harika. Tam da ihtiyacım olan çalışma. Paylaşımlarınızı zevkle izliyorum ve çok beğeniyorum. Leg warmrs paylaşımınızı dört gözle bekliyorum. 🤗
Thank you so much for such a simple and beautiful tutorial ❤❤🔔💐💐
Do you ever do left handed? I’d love to see, as I’m a lefty and just beginning.
I love how you teach and love the slippers i will make these for sure THANK YOU
Niceeeee…Thanks for clear teaching. I just made my complete first one. Thanks again!
I love these slippers! I love how easy... I love you’re teaching ! You are the best😃
I am confused. I am just getting a big circle. I'm going to look at the pattern too.
After the first 3 rows, instead of doing 2 double crochets in one stich, out only 1 double crochet in each. This will make it form a tube rather than a circle. I had the same problem
@@orintajazbutyte3517 Thank you so much ! I noticed that after I watched the video twice and checked a copy of the written pattern . I appreciate you answering that for me. 🌞
The third row will be 48 so each round after third will be of 48 double stitch?is not this too large ?
Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase show us how to crochet legwarmers ;)
Hellemui scune
These are beautiful! Would the decrease number be the same (4)if the heel is looser (18 instead of 20)? Thanks for sharing☺️
Can you please show us how to make a cute Small size doggie onesie?
Very Pretty, I'd like to Make some, thanks for sharing
Thank you so much I just sat here and watched your video and made a slipper so quick and I absolutely love it! Your voice is soothing and you made it so simple. ❤❤😊
It shows 2 rows and then jumps to end of 3rd row something is missing 🤔
From row 3 to 12 you sc in each stitch to equal 24 stitches
That's a very helpful tip. Thanks 😀. I was trying to figure out why my first sock wasn't rounding up.
@@jannetteanderson5068 I thought we were supposed to double crochet 2 times in each stitch for 12 rows
- Thank You again!!!
I’m currently crocheting one of your hats as a Christmas present, but now I’m going to make these slippers for myself because it’s so cold to walk on my floor. And it’s about a hundred years from spring...
Then I can continue with the hat.
They are so nice Will make it them as gifts for this holidays
After you stop are you to put one Dec in each stitched because my end up being an huge circle. Buy the way my string is double
Very nice Presentation . Thank you for sharing. Great Christmas gift.
Thank you very much... Very nice...I learned it.... God bless you.mam
This IS the easiest ever... Thank so much for sharing ur work.. God bless.. (hugs) 😘
Awesome thank you , I m self taught by watching you tube videos, and this is one of the best ones I have come across. Going yo make some for Christmas gifts. Thank you again.
Hi , how are you ?
I hope you are well
Thanks for beautiful teaching
I made it
I want to make very bigger than you teach
For example for size 42 or 43
How many doubles crochet I have to make 16 or 18 is enough?
And how many rows I have to make ?
And how many increase the double crochet?
For this you after three rows you first 6 double crochet after that you increase?
Please can you guide me ?
I want to make it for my brothers son
His size 42 or 43
I disagree... sorry. I love this channel but, I'm left with a big ruffle circle.
Not clear. No, I'm not a beginner.
The video is NOT CLEAR. The second row is 24 DC. The 3rd row how come 24 DC again? Then the other rows how many DC?
How much yarn we need to make this socks.
Thank you from Arizona, USA. I started several different slippers and got lost. I am new to crocheting. I was finally able to finish with your wonderful tutorial!🤗💞💓💖💗🤭
Thank you 💜So happy to read that 😻Use them in good days 😽
Hi, just wondering why even when I decrease to 1 SC in each stitch after the 3rd row, it seems the slipper just keeps getting bigger and rounder. It isn’t making a tube shape. Is there something I am doing wrong? Please help! ☹️
Hi Shirin, excellent work, but you are soooooo very sweet.I thought mosquitos are in India only.
Very nice job, good tutorial, thank you.
Hope that skeeter was terminated, hahaha.
I’m a beginner
1st attempt I did mistake then I restart and I thought I followed same as video but I didn’t get same shape so I give up
I watch the video several times but couldn’t figure it out
Please make video which is more suitable for beginner just like me plz ❤
Mine just becomes like a doily! It doesn’t get the form of a sock at all, it’s just a circle! What am I doing wrong?
On Round 18 the pattern is *2dc around dc* 5! Do I skip the next dc then do 2 dc? The round comes out to 26 stitches! Can any body help??
Can you please explain if there are increases all around from rows 3-13? You skipped that part. Or is it just a single double crochet in all rounds?
These are the best slippers. I gift them and also donate them . They're quick and easy. 😊
WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME!! THERE IS NO WAY THAT 24 STICHES COULD FIT ANY REGULAR SIZE...LET ALONE A SIZE US 7-8... TOTAL GARBAGE!!
Greetings from Brazil 💚💛 This tutorial looks easy .. I'm gonna try it !! How many yarns to crochet a pair ?
hello! :)
I want to try your design it looks lovely!
do you know roughly how much material I need to buy for toe slippers?
Very pretty and easy to follow, I will make me a pair. THANK YOU!!!🤗
It looks so easy, but as I move on to the fourth row my slippers are a flat circle. I've tried several times and can't get them to turn into the tube shape. I wish I knew what I'm doing wrong. I really wanted to give these to my daughter for Christmas.
You will not keep increasing Wynonne. You will increase for only one row (row 2) than you will keep your stitches (24) stitches and make totally 12 rows 💜
@@SirinsCrochet Thanks
Are these unisex? I'm using this pattern to make slippers for my friends and family for Christmas.
I love this. Thank you so very much
😍
I love your tutorials but I have got phobia with cats i can't see for that long
Please if possible could you not let them in your video thank you
I really really want to follow your channel
You are the best. I absolutely love this pattern and it is very easy to change the size. thank you so much for sharing. When I get finished with them all I will post some pictures for you.
Hi, it’s easy to follow. Love them! Do you use wool or cotton yarn? Thank you
Is it 24 double for every row? My stiches seem to increase every row? And my work looks like a flower 🙈
you forgot to say what you do on row 3.... you skipped from row 2 to row 3...no instructions
Idk what I did mistake but it keeps being flat circle and is looking like I'm making carpet or something
y cuando dejo 6 puntos y quedan 18 cuantos puntos hago antes de las disminuciones? y cuantas hago? ojalá me respondas🙏
You are a great teacher thank you francis New Zealand
السلام عليكم شكرا جزيلا جزاك الله خيرا
Thanks for the very easy tutorial. God bless.
I actually tried to make it but it keeps becoming a large circle it’s not becoming a socks Whats wrong ?
Starting with row 3, stitch 1 dc in ea stitch around for 24 total. This instruction is omitted in video. Good luck!
Thank you for this nice easy good looking slipper. I love it your always do nice work.
I've been looking for this pattern ALL DAY!!! So cute, I can't wait to get started making them! Thank you for making the process seem so easy! :-)
All pattern written is far different frm what u explained and putting 12 stitches in one stich is wrong at the start only
Making some last minute Christmas gifts! Thank you so much for the easy tutorial
I looooove it, I just watched it and made one, I am going to make some to my friends and for me too :) Thanks a million Sirin
