I can’t even imagine the sensation of driving a twin turbo viper. Probably the closest you can get to feeling like you’re in a jet without taking flight.

I have several very fast cars, my TT Viper is the scariest car I’ve ever driven. Without the TC on, you can fry street tires at will well into the triple digits.
Then imagine what a 10,000 hp, 300 mph in a 1/4 mile "car" would feel like (youtube it)

That's only valid on a want to go fast event or race wars, on a typical street racing night its rare to see a 1000hp car.
Dexter Sullen 'TRUTH' 1000 hp cars aren’t rare anymore. Go street race in Houston and you need at least 800 wheel to even get to play.
@@JTLifestyle1 I'm in okc now, and 1000hp cars aren't out every weekend and it won't be in the dozens, 700hp is the sweet spot over here if want unpredictable action and alot of runs.

Vipers are one of the fastest cars to build, and put out great lap times stock, destroy drifts when built for it, and make good lap time builds too. Their unpopularity leading to discontinuation is a fail in the automotive world.

X Rated Dodge has already revealed their 5 year plan for vehicles to investors and the Viper wasn’t on it :/ Even the CEO shut down rumors of a new Viper saying it was very highly unlikely to ever happen. Unfortunately the Viper is truly dead this time around.

1300 rwhp ZO6 club here on my prior setup, So I definitely know what it takes. That's why they are running such a huge tire. But Ive had a hell of a time taming 1500 rwhp cars to hook from a roll without a traction control system. So its nice to see a 2k 2wd car laying it down 👌
Gotta love when the Viper gets into boost and you can see the exhaust shooting out the sidepipes.

Isn't the viper that gaps the Demon a GTS and not an ACR? Calvo interview points this out at 4:38. Seems to be a misleading title, crazy car regardless.

I’ve been in a 1356 hp GTR and that was pure adrenaline and it was pretty scary. I can’t imagine what 2200hp feels like.
These Vipers are crazy, love them BUT the ACR I personally would never drag that as that was meant to beat up the road courses, a true Porsche GTS killer.
Can save alot money figuring displacements dimension configurations especially rev gear shifts stuff like that

I would guess if traction was attainable 7's in the qtr. But traction would be the hardest thing to get. Does anyone make upgraded rear driveline/suspension components to help strengthen and improve hard launches?

That Viper must be so stable at speed....with the Advanced Aero Package the car is normally drag-limited at 177 mph because at that speed an invisible Mitsubishi Mirage is sitting on the roof! Amazing what an extra ~1,500 horsepower will get you on the top end lol

Dodge got something up there sleeve, they single handily saved the American car industry. Tuners and Hot Rodder’s are back in the saddle exploring the limits of current technology. The car companies should sponsor them, and work hand in hand with R&D.
