Keep the build videos coming on this guy! I wish the axle kits were a little cheaper all around, they are always the hang up for me on a new build. It’s nice to see mofo offering a nylon setup. I’ve noticed myself ordering from them a LOT more than injora lately. Way better QC. Thanks Adam have a blessed one!
Thank you for mentioning the scrub steer. This is the main draw for me. I only wish the c-hub was a little shorter so i could get zero scrub, but having the inside edge of the tire right at the pivot point is the next best thing. Great review.
I know you’re a close partner with LGRP but the reign of the super 8’s looks like it’s almost at its ends. Beefy shafts, nylon options, and clockable hubs for caster. Only thing I don’t like about my x15s is how big the c hubs are.
Great video! I have had these axles for 8 months now and really like them! I was lucky to get a set on the first batch! What you get now is the same and now you don't need to use 2.0 hardware! Awesome Awesome Mofo X 15 sick!
Really need to go to a brushless outrunner set up, there's a few am32 setups out there now personally I'm running a castle micro x2 and a 12 pole drone outrunner and it's starts up so so smooth and slow with quite a bit more top speed. And gives room to move up to 4s if you really wanted too
Do you have a install/maintenance video where you go over parts that you have installed and also applied lubricant? Most install videos I've watched skip talking about lubricant. It might seem simple, but I'm not sure what parts I should lubricate, what types of lubricant to use, and how much lubricant to apply on these little machines. This is coming from the fact that I've just burned through two motors and the second time through I made sure not to over-tighten as you have suggested in the past.
This is a great upgrade. Because I need to change my stock Axial jlu stance. I like the composite One's for $90 just to save $$ and try the 57mm with red aluminum beadlock wheels swap from TRX4M.
Thanks for the video! Those front axle shafts look like they came out of a TRX4M. I'm still hoping someone comes out with a ring & pinion style axle specifically made for a SCX24...
Overdrive one end would help slightly but minimally for overall wheelspeed. 50% reduction in one end is going to pretty stressful on the drivetrain in my opinion. I would do more like 50% rear underdrive and 24% underdrive front. The LGRP multiratio transmission would be perfect pairing with these axles.
Looking to get a scx24 would you have a recommendation on which is a great start to build? Currently have a trx4m looking to build one of these just not sure which would be best to go with was looking at the deadbolts but not set on i.?
You should think about making playlists on your channel of the different builds. I’m just getting into crawling and have really been enjoying your videos but it’s hard to look through all the videos to find the different builds. Just a thought that could help get more views/engagement on older videos
These are cool but as you push the width of the axle way out beyond the stock length is it starts to remove the challenge of driving the vehicle and destroys the true scale look of the cars they look like they belong on the 1/18 scale cars not 1/24
I know this is an scx24 vid but I have a question about my trx4m bronco. I recently put on injora’s shocks and high clearance links, but now when ever I am crawling over something and articulate, the body stays leaned over. How do I fix that? If anyone could help I’d be very happy
I broke my axles so your wrong ...and these are cool .. If anyone cant understand why we need then ...Clearly you ain't a RC Guy ...this comment was for the one who posted who breaks axles and dont get it .. Tell him go play with wallmart toys maybe thats his toy line more suitable for his play needs ...lol.. Great job bro love your vids and builds ..
It's a bummer they are so wide. We already have good 1/18 axles. Meus Iso kinetic axles kinda make these obsolete imo, unless you want a 1/18 axle I guess.
50% gear reduction? No thank you. I get amazing slow crawl as it is. Stock gears, and better motor. These look awesome, and are super strong, so I'll be getting some, but that 50% reduction is too much.
once you start adding weight, the drops become a lot more hurtful. i put tires that were 5x heavier than stock on and fell off an obstacle and snapped a shaft lol
Have you seen the super 8 guys. Every 1 in 3 guys has snapped a cvd shaft or two. (Okay that’s an exaggeration but I see people break axles all the time). But realistically these are nice because you know they’re not gonna break. And you can hit near full steering angle without worry.
Haha, none of it even matters. But it’s super cool. All of it. I think half the fun of these things is just tinkering. I’ve got 3-4 of them and I think I’ve driven them once. Lol
Converted my TRX4m to a tarantula last week with 70mm 1.3 swamp claws, brass where I could, traxass crawling gears, under drive over drive differentials etc etc, took it out today and it the stock motor seized up and lost one of the gears in the trans, any recommendations on motor/esc/reciever/transmitters? I was looking at furitek but don’t know what reciever transmitter to pair with it
My personal recommendation is the radiomaster MT12. Super capable radio and well priced. Pair that with the Furitek stinger system and you've got a top notch setup

Can you try the 6x6 kit for the Trx4m?

That’s the one thing I don’t like about them
Not only these axles look really good but the new hard park 10mm axles will be a super stellar option that will make LGRP design new axles
It is good to have several options on the market.
I am in agreement about the only downfall-large C-hub, we'll see how that affects them on the rocks.
@@matthewcopeland4441 I know Texoma makes sliders for the c hubs. I’m sure we will see some homebaked and maybe some other variants.

Yes they are, I got the nylon ones here watching Tuesday morning before work
yeah with the stiffness i had the same issue it clears out on its own eventually i think it just takes time for the udder butter fully smooth out
These would make for a great Rock bouncer build
How do you like these compared to Super 8s and the MEUS double joint axles?
I like the added width and the beefy axle shafts. I prefer the look of the Meus axles and that steering range can't be touched!
I have been looking for a set of axles for a rock bouncer. These are what I need. Thank you for the info and honest review. Keep crawling
This is probably the best use of these lol

Makes me think if I should do longer axles for my 24 Gladiator. 🤔
Yes best grease there is, I’ve been using it for over six years now
I have the Injora 33% underdrives on the front and rear in my JLU and I thought that was slow enough. The torque and slow crawl is nice though.
Thanks for the video! Those front axle shafts look like they came out of a TRX4M. I'm still hoping someone comes out with a ring & pinion style axle specifically made for a SCX24...
I agree! I thought that as I was watching the video back. The c-hub, knuckles, and axle shafts are nearly identical to the TRX4M
Nope still goofy looking…but I like the axle upgrade but the width don’t fit IMHO.
These axles would look better on the power wagon and gladiator tbh
Hopefully he does a giveaway on this rig. That would be badass.
If your big on power this is a no brainer 😊
in this case of being slow would overdriving the front or rear help?

I would do more like 50% rear underdrive and 24% underdrive front. The LGRP multiratio transmission would be perfect pairing with these axles.
As far as wheel speed. If you're on 2s, why not try 3s with the injora esc. Should bring the wheel speed back and keep the slow crawl
So cool!!! Thanks for the video brother!
They look rad!
I loki would just put the stock gears back on and a better motor
Looking to get a scx24 would you have a recommendation on which is a great start to build?
Currently have a trx4m looking to build one of these just not sure which would be best to go with was looking at the deadbolts but not set on i.?
The deadbolt is an excellent base for a build. C10 also becomes incredibly capable very quickly!
@@CapeCrawlers awesome thank you
I love the look of that thing
you should put 33% overdrive in the front just to see what it does
You should think about making playlists on your channel of the different builds. I’m just getting into crawling and have really been enjoying your videos but it’s hard to look through all the videos to find the different builds. I can do that
These are cool but as you push the width of the axle way out beyond the stock length is it starts to remove the challenge of driving the vehicle and destroys the true scale look of the cars they look like they belong on the 1/18 scale cars not 1/24
Definitely need to order a set of the nylons 😊
Do the meus 52 degree axels have the same gear reduction?
They do not. They have a more conservative overdriven front if I remember correctly
I know this is an scx24 vid but I have a question about my trx4m bronco. I recently put on injora’s shocks and high clearance links, but now when ever I am crawling over something and articulate, the body stays leaned over. How do I fix that? If anyone could help I’d be very happy
Sounds like your shocks are sticking. You could try tightening the preload or adding some more oil to give them a bit more resistance

Never say never right? You must have really twisted that thing up to break one!
Do these come silver or just black?
There’s just black that I’m aware of
It's a bummer they are so wide. We already have good 1/18 axles. Meus Iso kinetic axles kinda make these obsolete imo, unless you want a 1/18 axle I guess.
Meus has the scale stance for sure and that steering angle is no joke!
@@CapeCrawlers The isos do swing the front around with all that scrub but I think it's something I could work with for all that angle
Just broke my stock axle this past Friday 😅
It's a sign!
50% gear reduction? No thank you.
I get amazing slow crawl as it is.
Stock gears, and better motor.
These look awesome, and are super strong, so I'll be getting some, but that 50% reduction is too much.
Its a lot even on a brushless truck I found. I will be swapping them out for a more moderate ratio
Whos breaking axles on these little things? Some of these upgrades are for no reason i feel. Just my thoughts, still enjoy the videos.
once you start adding weight, the drops become a lot more hurtful. i put tires that were 5x heavier than stock on and fell off an obstacle and snapped a shaft lol

I agree. These are not needed. But if capecrawler makes a video about wheel hexes i will watch a video about hexes. Love all the videos. Haha.
I broke 5 axles on the injora extended axles
Those are way over priced 👎🏿👎🏿
