    I appreciate the quality of advice in this channel. For some reason most guys doing fishing videos love to talk, and talk, and talk, before even getting to the information but these guys get right to the point.

    I just moved to Florida and had trouble catching anything when I first got here. After I started to use pompano jigs, I've started catching fish consistently. Good content JC

    hello JC great video as allways. I have a question would you do a fishing challenge with berkley gulp?

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  2 года назад +1

      I tried those once and thought they weren't durable and a bit pricey. If a friend took me fishing and said that the fish would only hit those lures then I'd do it.

    JC, question regarding the pomp rigging: do you use swivel between braid main line and leader or you use a knot? Thanks

    JC, I just purchased an Old Town auto pilot 120 from Silent Sports Outfitters. They will be shipping to me in the panhandle of Florida and I need to determine which batteries to buy to create the best fishing experience with kayak. If you any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Mark

      I use a lead/acid, RV/Marine, class 27, 105 AMP HR battery.

    JC. I need your help! I’m so Devastated I lost 2 fishes today( a pompano and Spanish mackerel) they both spitted the hook out when I retrieved. I was using light tackle (7’0 MF rod with 10lb braided main line) and It kept getting wind knots as well. Ugh. Do you think 8’0 MHF rod with 30lb braid main would get the job done since I’m jigging on the bridge? Thanks!

    • @RadReelingFishing
      @RadReelingFishing  Год назад +1

      I usually use 15 to 20 pound braid with 25 pound leader when I jig for Pompano on bridges and that works fine. Spanish mackerel have razor sharp teeth. they cut me off all the time.
