Just got my first drum set, it’s only a table top one but loving it so far. And it put a big smile when you started playing Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town, OUT OF ANY SONG you play that lmao. Amazing
Honestly growing up with an electric drum kit they are great but the only thing they don’t have (understandably) is the crispness of the cymbals like on a real drum kit. Overall though, they are BRILLIANT at keeping your neighbours happy
Hey look, it's "cymbals" and not "symbols", these two words have quite different meanings, but when talking about the shiny yellow upside-down plates on drums, you wanna use "cymbals".
@@denisa10 you're trying too hard to make yourself sounds smart and miserably failing while you do so. Have you never made a grammar mistake ever in your life?
My sister played drums in the worship band in our teen years. The guy that ran the A/V booth was a brilliant tech, but definitely not a musician. His answer to the drums overpowering the other instruments was to get an electric kit and turn the drums waaaaaaaay down in the mix. The only drums you could hear was my sister thrashing her frustrations out on the electric kit; you could hear that flapping all the way at the back of the room.
This video demonstrates my main gripe with electronic drumsets. Your sticks on the snare appears to be hitting almost at the edge which with an electronic drumset produces the same sound as dead center. On an acoustic set hitting near the edge like that would produce a very thin sound that you usually don't want which can be a problem for drummers that learned on an electronic drumset and haven't had to work on precise strike zones (I try to keep my main strike zone about an inch in diameter).
I have an Electronic Kit as I live in a apartment bld ..I figgured I can practice (play ? ) anytime I wanted ...and I can to a degree ... the one upset is .... the vibration on the floor ..the neighboors say they hear me ..in fact they have stated it exactly as Playing drums ..so to combat this I layed rubber mats on floor and started using a big fluffy beater ..I have asked yet if they still hear me .. this is from neighbors under me and right next to me on same floor we share a common wall so I'm not sure what I can do there ????
Lived with a metal drummer for a few years. Drove me crazy to hear constant blast beats on his E-kit and practice pad, but still easier to drown out than an acoustic kit.
My family got me an acoustic set when I was little, though I haven’t been able to afford an electric one. Since I’m still only in HS, my poor family has to deal with a music producer on the top floor, a pianist in the living room, and a drummer on the basement. Oh yeah, and I tend to play either anime OPs or rock.
i have had neighboor complains from two stories down that my kick sounded like a jackhammer banging the wall. Had to put some type of foam under the drumkit for it to be more silent
My brother in the next room over from me has an electronic drum set. It is against the wall, and given that our walls indoors are very thin, every day for at least 1-2 hours, I hear banging and thudding and the ground in and around the room shakes. Truly amazing
Maybe look into getting someone to build a uh... Drum isolation riser, I think it's called? There's RUclips videos about it, it's basically a shock absorber for the kit.
To any seasoned Rock Band player this sounds like home. Lol. Seriously this guy is legit and with or without the proper sound it still sounds pretty cool. ☺
@@ralphmrk btw Do u have any tips for a beginner drummer? I just started playing the drums about 2 months ago and at this point I have no idea what to do in order to improve. Can u give me some tips/advice?
@@420ran69 hmmm i guess my advice is to enjoy drumming and do some covers(i think this is the best way to learn)! I taught myself drums with the help of some friends and youtube videos (tnx drumeo hehehe). It is a journey so take it slow.. you will improve over time. Just get the basics right and be consistent with practice.. also listen to some great drummers too! My favourite is Larnell Lewis, you can check him out :)
i just got my first electric drum kit and youtube has realized that i started drumming and started recommending drum related videos :O i totally wasn’t expecting CNBT! combining my two interests, JJBA and drumming! yay!
Well, if your neighbours have a problem feel free to become my neighbour at any time. A well played instrument is much much better than screaming on the phone through a wall.
Heyyyy ! Great cover ! I have the same kit and I would love to connect it on my laptop but it's hard tho, which program did you use to connect it plzzz ? 🙏🙏
hey there! I use a drum vst (addictive drums) to connect the drum module to the computer. That's what I only use my computer for. Apart from that, I manually record the drum sounds through the drum module by using the recording function. After that I just mix and match the drum sound and song through a video editng software like vegas pro.
By like three orders of magnitude too. I would never whip out my kit at night, because someone is bound to hear it, but yeah, acoustic sets are basically out of the question in 99 % of apartments people live in. Also, e-drums are just really fun.
I did the full cover of the song here: ruclips.net/video/jJo5v22XUn8/видео.html
Thanks for watching! :D
Honestly still sounds dope with just the pads
A bit like somebody was tap dancing no?

it's mad unsatisfying
found the not drummer

So weird... I listen to great days for the first time in like 6 months yesterday, and I got this video in my recommended
the drummer high my friend

I was considering skipping the video until the preview showed the song lol
Since I live in a townhouse and my kit is at my grandmother’s house outside of city limits this gives me a reason to invest in one.

Yes, this kit doesn't have that, but a lot do. I have a cheap Alesis Nitro Mesh kit (300$) and it has rim shots. Not perfect but it's cool.

This reminds me when I was in marching band the drum line had drum pads to practice on and I would hear continuous tapping for hours
it's so impressive, you can even hear him play the trumpet
thats why i love electronic instruments, i can blast metal on my guitar at 2AM and noone is mad cuz I use headphones
how did you make your bass drum quiet?
do you mean the vibrations on the ground when i hit the bass drum?

Straight fire 🔥
Best Jojo intro also I have an electric kit and you right
My brother has this exact kit at home, and the pads sound increasingly irritating the more he plays
These are the exact one we got… they are cool
I feel bad for my downstairs neighbors when I start playing tech death
Lol the laughing in the background gets me!
This has a high sample potential
you are awesome

What a bop.
I had a fucking brain blast while trying to remember what crazy noisy bizarre town was
Electronic drum kits are a godsend for drummers like me who have neighbours close by.
still slaps
Pov; hearing that from my brothers room at 11pm every. Single. Day xD
sounds awesome like taiko drumming
The percussion section with their practice pads:
I'm trying to sleep and I can hear my dad on them right now
very cool

shocking results, who would expect that
Still sounds cool with out the back ground music imo
なんか好きになってすぐ真似してしまいましたw
sounds like a highschool marching band with just the pads
No but the bass pedal always is haha
The amp in the back: 🥲🥲🥲
That reminded me that even with being semi novice I’m not that bad, since this is just slightly beyond my skill level
The kick drum is. So if you have neighbors below you better get some padding.
Whats a good way of doing this? i have this issue

@@ralphmrk thanks ! Did you find a free version ? And you don't need other platforms like FL studio or something else to mix ?
A guy I know fixed most of the noise by building a stage in his room with a big rug on it. A lot of noise travels through the floor.
Loud compared to complete silence maybe. They're still only 1/100th the volume of a real kit being walloped though.
Does anyone know why my hi hat isn’t working when I press down on it?
I honestly don't care about the music. I like hearin what you're smackin

oMg Is ThAt A jOjO rEfErEnCe?!??

and they’re still loud
not my dad he plugs them into gigantic stereo speakers
The answer (I know from personal experience) is yes, they're annoying and loud but not a fraction as loud as real drums.
its sad i could tell what song it is without the music
Is it just me or did the audio-less one kinda sound like the YYZ drum track?
Oh my god I hear it
imagine having space for an electric drumset
wish that was me :(

it sounds like a marching band drumline lmao

rather hear this than wait 30+ minutes for my dad to be done drumming or risk losing my hearing to get something from the garage
I like electronic drums, because neighbors don't have much of an excuse to complain about noise if it's not automatically loud😁
I have one of my own
Unless you hook it up to incredibly loud speakers
Nice 😂😎🤘
LMFAOOOO RIGHT

I had to turn the volume down because it was too loud.
