The only things I disagree with would be freezing pipes and ice on the windshield. We have experienced both of these and we live near Mobile. Other than that- your information is accurate 😊

lol even central Alabama is pretty dangerous bc of tornadoes (which I love that you mentioned them, bc most people don't), poisions snakes, the opressive heat during summer (can lead to heat stroke etc)...and yeah hurricanes are a problem, even whe you are up in the Birmingham area (where I live) bc the rain, wind and stuff from the hurricacnes can cause huge thunder storms and tornadoes etc...then when it comes to winter, we don't get snow, but we do get ice on roads which makes driving dangerous.

Odd for a video to discuss the dangers of Alabama and not mention crime, esp when mentioning Birmingham. Its a great city but being the #5 most dangerous in the nation, could easily be a hidden danger. But dont let it run you off its mostly in select areas away from the tourist areas. I say that yet in just the last month two of its night time emtertanmient areas had mass shootings. One was 22 people at 11pm , other 4 but at 3 am. Great food but its kinda smart to stay in its suburb and go to it during the daytime.

@@LivingInLowerAlabama yet you mentioned Birmingham did you not? Yes you did. So you brought in an area that isn't LOWER ALABAMA I simply responded to what your video spoke about. So your correction isn't to reply to me but to acknowledge what your video spoke to. Just as I did

@@LivingInLowerAlabama well I'm glad your finding it to your liking. It's a great state, and you're only learning half of it. I've said for decades it's like two states in one.
I was born here left hating it, went to 5 nations and 46 states, found beautiful places, people, etc. None compared I found out Alabama is very low key unique and if you listen to what the world tells ya about it you won't even notice it. It doesn't have that one big thing like miles of coast or snow capped mountains for skiing massive open lands that govt keeps like BLM nat. forest and such. But it has a lil if it all and a whole lot of good, living here let's all that good add up to a great life but you gotta go get it.
I'm partial myself to the northern half, the hills and mountains and creeks and rivers. But those are some beautiful beaches and it's a laid back life for now.
Come try the northern half more often. I only spoke about Bhams crime cause it's been a issue lately. But its only effecting a rather small area easy to avoid. As y'all saw it's fine but explore nature that's where it's at.
