The long awaited *ALL 50 States RANKED* video is finally here! Is YOUR state where you thought it would be? Hope you all enjoy and have a great holiday season! :D *And can we hit 5,000 LIKES to update the list EVERY year?!*
It's happening just as I said it would...the healing phase of being "scared to death”is lung cancer, pneumonia, bronchitis and flu. You can also expect to see more appendix problems which are caused by being in fear for your life, feeling like a fish out of water, uncertain of your place in life. The longer the fear, the more serious the diagnosis. When the willful hostages are finally freed from their homes (because of media and government lies based on the fraudulent Germ Theory), and people begin to get happy and feel less stressed, the result will be the healing phase....of pneumonia, burst appendix, gallbladder issues, arthritis in certain joints, it’s all subjective to what your brain experienced at the moment of the conflict. The fear campaign has caused ALL the illnesses, not a Boogey Virus. Every disease is based on the Germ Theory, which was the theory of ONE man over 100 years ago. It was never proven to be 100% valid, and has not even been QUESTIONED again. Why? In order for a theory to be valid, it must be reproduceable in each and every person 100% of the time. Every single person exposed to a "virus" MUST get sick from it 100% of the time, over and over again. It's how you PROVE a theory is valid. This was never done. Scientists used to think witches and witchcraft were valid!! Educated people?? hahaha!! If you cannot "catch" cancer, arthritis or diabetes from another person, then you cannot "catch" a cold or flu. There is no such thing that only SOME diseases are communicable, but not all. It's either all or none of them...they are all based on the same Germ Theory. If you can't "catch" someone's lung cancer, you can't "catch" their colds or flu. Upsetting and distressing events in a person's life is what cause ALL cancer and cancer-equivalent disease, cold, flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. The cause of death in Small Pox was PNEUMONIA, not acne lesions. The only people who “caught” Small Pox were the ones who were attacking each other..Indians and Militia....people who feared and were attacked by each other. A massive fear campaign will CAUSE people to be "worried sick", but sickness doesn't happen until people resolve their fears. Why do you think kids get sick in October? Because their fear of going back to school and being upset about it finally dissolves, and they get back into their routines. What the media and government is doing to people is criminal. Western Medicine is pure fraud. I can't be the only person in this disgustingly brainwashed world who knows about German New Medicine.
As a Brit, I'd love to visit the US one day, I love that all the states still have something unique about them despite all being part of the same country
Yes we love tourists my dude I recommend New York, California, and Washington as my personal fav places one thing to note is new York is dangerous at night and in Washington state where I live the city's are notorious for the amount of crap that goes down at night so if you do visit the USA stay safe and be with a group not only cuz it's safer but it's more fun

As someone who doesn’t live in America, this was really informative and super interesting to get a glimpse of all the different states, since I wouldn’t know the first thing about life in America
I would watch a different ranking video before passing too much judgement, lol. As an American who's traveled a lot, most of the commentary isn't reflective of what the actual state is like
Oh I totally understand that this is just one person’s opinion and I’m sure there’s other people out there who would rank the states in a very different order, and of course I’m sure there’s still so much to like about the lower ranked ones too. It was just interesting to see the cities and climate of each state through the footage shown and how diverse each one is. I really love how you get warm and cold, beaches and mountains, like all types of climates in one country. I’m Australian so majority of the country is just hot all the time 😂. I obviously can’t have a solid opinion in this because even though I have traveled to America before it was only California, and I didn’t really get a taste of the living conditions while I was there. It’s definitely an interesting topic that I’m wanting to do more research on by watching similar videos to this one.
Albany is the weirdest city I've ever been to. Not really in a bad way ig but I just felt uncomfortable and wrong the whole time. Saw thousands of cars but barely any people and the roads were empty, just cars parked in lots. Went into a restaurant and the waiter was a uniformed cop. felt like the twilight zone
It's really wonderful to come across people who freely share valuable information online. You never know what kind of knowledge you might stumble upon that could have a lasting impact on your life.

Cryptocurrency trading appears to be quite lucrative. Despite the constantly changing nature of Bitcoin, it's evident that the cryptocurrency community is here to stay. John Joseph, you're doing an excellent job.
I apologize for interrupting, but I have been searching for assistance with this type of trading as my work consumes most of my time, leaving me with limited opportunities to focus on trading. How can I get to know him?
Downside of Hawaii: outside of the tourist sector, there are not a lot of great jobs available. Combine that with the super high cost of living and something to consider.
@@hansolo9413 Right, our economy was in ruins during COVID-19 because of said location because the damn flight restrictions. Hell Hawaii makes the majority of their income from tourism
The fact that I automatically assumed my state would be the worst just reiterates what the narrator said about what we Illinoisians think of our state being the worst. Barely any credit and taxes that are driving people away. Thanks, Chicago lawmakers. Three cheers for homicides & political corruption, too.

I hope one day, I will visit this amazing country. Every state has something nice and interesting, but americans are great people so it’s doesn’t matter where I will be. I have meet at least 30 americans from different states and all of them are good as brothers. God bless America 🇺🇸 ♥️ 🇧🇦 Greetings from Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Worth noting that Oregon's high rate of "pollution" is due to particulate matter from wildfires. It's not really a problem generated by the state itself.
@@mattrdd9 Let me guess, you live in a big city, no true wilderness, etc... trying to say how it is? You as most tree huggers are so brainwashed! Simple!
These rankings are based more on the economy of each state; this video doesn’t take into account the qualitative and lifestyle aspects of living in each state
"Qualitative and lifestyle aspects" are difficult to measure and very subjective. Are you going to count how many Christians are in the state versus atheists? Baseball diamonds versus bowling allies? How many farmer's markets there are per capita? Count the number of ski lifts? Plus, it does get into some qualitative aspects such as beauty and scenery. But that too is subjective. Is Maine more beautiful than eastern California? Is Vermont more beautiful than Idaho or Mississippi? I lived in Florida for 22 years and found most of it flat and ugly. But some people would love that above all else. To me education and quality public schools are very important. To other people they aren't. Overall I think the list is pretty accurate. One can always quibble about the details and placement of each state.
From Here to There: You forgot to mention that Minnesota has more people graduating college each year than any state in the United States. Minnesota also has more homeownership (per number of people) than any state in the United States. Minnesota and Maine has pretty excellent water tables.
Was definitely surprised to hear that Alaska had a high cost of living. Would think the small population and amount of space would bring property prices down.
@Greg Bet the 'getting paid to live here' is roughly $1,000 this year, which is nice to receive but when rent is reaching $1,500/month for 2 room apartments it goes quickly.
I'm an NH resident, but spent a year working in Alaska. High cost of living is due to having to bring so many manufactured and packaged goods in by boat or plane. Over half the population lives near Anchorage (kind of like the body of an octopus in terms of relatively limited state highway system}, so that really distorts property prices. However, not all of the Alaska experiences frigid cold temperatures. And In terms of outdoor recreational opportunities and scenic beauty none of the other 49 states come close to The Last Frontier - I can certainly understand why a higher % of Alaskans than residents of any other state consider The Great Land to be the greatest state - and I think they're correct.
Fucking get me out of Utah man. To anyone who’s planning on living here, please consider whether a) you’re white & b) If you have a luxurious white collar job. Otherwise, please I beg you to reconsider, affordable housing is non existent & this state is really bringing the snobbiest of America here. Nothing more than sea of entitled, cookie cutter Karen’s who are gentrifying this whole state. Mark my words, in about a decade or so this place will be just as bad, if not worse than California.
As someone who's lived his whole life in the middle states of New England (Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts) I can 100% confirm that I've lived my life on easy mode.
I have to say that I find some comfort being from Mississippi. I have for years now. Because as this nation continues it’s inevitable decline to oblivion, no one will want to come here. The people here have already been surviving without the basic supports, that are now failing everywhere, their whole lives. People are already self reliant and self sufficient.
Hello, I've lived in New Hampshire my entire life if you are considering moving here are some pros and cons. Pros: Fall foliage, zero crime, great health care, great education, clean beaches, mountains, clean towns, no state income tax. Cons: Freezing cold winters, sparsly populated outside the seacoast and manchester area, highest property taxes in the country, high rent prices. New Hampshire is probably the best place in the country to raise a family with how safe, educated and great health care.
@@BlueHawk350 True but 30 degrees is really not that cold. I live In maine so same temps as New Hampshire but these past years I’ve only worn sweatshirts unless I go snowboarding and it has been pretty good.
Was born in Louisiana. I can agree that the state is very voluntarily polluted due to oil & gas, corruption runs deep, healthcare is bad, crime is high, and diversification of industry leaves much to be desired. The food is what keeps people coming there. For the many who want to leave, low income, poverty, and lack of resources forces them to stay there. I moved to Massachusetts; it was a major positive change.
As someone who has always lived in louisiana, I can agree. Especially in the south. They don’t care what happens here because of how bad poverty and everything is- the only reason people are here is to work at the plants or eat food
Something that needs to be said about Washington is that it's essentially split in half: west side and east side. All of the stock footage in the video is from the west side where a vast majority of the population is. The east side has much more in common with Montana, with barely any trees and wheat fields all across the horizon. If you are a farmer, having some land on the east side will get you rich due to the wheat, barley, potatoes, apples, lentils, and whatever else you can grow there.
Part of the reason why I love Washington state is this dynamic. Our state wide representatives don’t represent our republican representation but we sure do have it. Love both sides of the state for different reasons. Also, how did you come up with the conclusion of there being barely any trees on the east side? From my experiences there’s an absolute shit ton! At least in NE WA.
@@nicholasdehollander3394 nah western Washington is so much better! Well, at least for the climate and views. It's like a whole diff state in eastern Washington and not in a good way (I'm not actually upset I'm just having fun with my Washington ppl cuz I never see people who live in Washington online lol)
Washingtonian here! We got the rainforest, we got beaches by the Pacific Ocean. We got lakes, rivers, ponds, trees, mountains. You can go hiking and see the most beautiful view ever. We got snow and you can go skiing and snowboarding in Snoqualmie. We got desert, cities, countryside, and we got good fresh crispy air. It does rain a lot, but summer is very nice. Just don’t come to Aurora Ave and try avoid parts of Tacoma.
Wow. Surprised of this comment section seemingly just being civil disagreements and people giving their honest opinions about their respective states. Expected to see more hatred. Faith in humanity restored.
As a West Virginian, pretty much everything that was said is true. The schools aren't great, the healthcare isn't the best, and the infrastructure is abysmal, but things have really developed over the last few years and we really do have some amazing scenery. A lot of industry is popping up bringing lots of jobs which is bringing a lot more people. I live in the eastern panhandle and it seems like there is a new neighborhood going up every other month. On top of that, a lot of people are moving here because the cost of living is low and in the eastern panhandle, we are less than 2 hours from DC and Baltimore so people usually just commute to work and make 2-3x more money doing so. I'm really curious to see what West Virginia is like in the next decade or so.
There are SO MANY factors that determine which state you wind up in. My biggest issue was career aspirations. I was raised in the NY Metro area back in the 70s and 80s. All I ever wanted to do was teach elementary school so I spent 4 1/2 years getting my BA in Education and teacher certification. I also had quite a bit of subbing experience by then. I sent in applications to more than 100 school districts in the area. I got less than 6 interviews in two years. Finally and thankfully, a Secretary for Human Resources sat me down and told me the best thing I could do was move out of state. I asked why. She replied, "Do you realize that for each open elementary position, we usually have 1,000+ applicants?? The GREAT MAJORITY of resumes we receive are thrown in the trash." To make a long story short, I applied to 40 county wide school districts in North Carolina. Six weeks later, I had my 1st interview in the Charlotte area. I was hired that day. I even got to choose which grade I wanted to teach! So I lived in NC 17 years and now in the Myrtle Beach/Charleston area since 2015. I couldn't be happier! Sometimes God uses closed doors to get you where you need to be.
@@peterhiser7883 no, its great to live there because then you can afford to move to other places because your set with a great education. Also, the taxes may be high but you do see the benefits. So there is no problem whatsoever. If you were to live in NY moving from another state, then the taxes might be difficult to handle. But for locals, all’s well.
I've been a Floridian all my life and I can say that I am SURPRISED Florida was ranked so high here...the humidity, bugs, and schools are definitely negatives.
I’m from Louisiana and don’t have any wiggle room to talk lol but I hear more news on crime there than I do here 🤷🏻♂️ I love the beaches but somehow I feel safer in LA 🙂
I live in Utah and I can agree that the nature is very beautiful across the states. From the mountains close to Salt Lake and the southern red rocks, the nature is really good. It is not hard to find a hike near by. Looking at the city skyline while hiking in the mountains is very beautiful. The only bad things about living in Utah is that the air quality can get bad, especially in the summer and winter, and sometimes the traffic can get bad. Other than that, I have to agree with putting Utah in the top 3 this year.
I live on the literal border of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and I can say, traveling between the two, they're similar in many ways, and both are amazing compared to the other states I've visited but I'd have to say new england has to be my favorite part This is coming from someone who was born and raised in japan
I lived in downtown Atlanta for a few years and you're absolutely right about the traffic being absolute shit. I'd still rank Miami slightly higher cuz people drive like maniacs down there.
In defense of Texas’s rural areas, it is because there are a LOT of farms, and that takes up a lot of empty space. Also the rural areas are very beautiful.
I’m actually so glad Virginia ranked pretty high on this list. I will say, living here I’ve hated it, mostly because there isn’t much to do, but the education system is incredible, and watching this video really got me realizing how great this state is.
If I wasn't happy living in Utah (and couldn't move to Hawaii), Virginia would be my next choice. I've been there several times for work and I just love the history and natural beauty of the area. It's great.
@@un_known449 Virginia has better elevation, Florida is too flat, and you get fields and mountains in VA. You get BEST beaches in Florida, and vibrant lifestyle. Ultimately it’s up to you. Id personally go with Florida, given I HATE Virginia winter, but during the summer Virginia is so awesome to be in, it gives off Outer Banks vibes from the show on Netflix.
As a Washington state native, I can say that everyone who lives outside of the Seattle Metropolitan Area absolutely despises everyone living inside the Seattle Metropolitan Area.
Given people outside of the metropolitan area routinely have their homes appraised at a huge discount to their market values by tax assessors, I don’t think there is much to bitch about.
As another Washington state native I can confirm. Other than Seattle and the God awful governor Washington is the best, most beautiful state I've ever seen. So proud to be born and raised there.
As a New Jerseyan, thank you for not basing us on stereotypes and highlighting our better features! I also think it's pretty interesting how we have such a diverse set of landscapes and cultures in such a tiny area. You'll find big cities, small towns, sprawling suburbia, open land and farms, mountains, woods, and the beach depending on what part of the state you're in.
I live in New Mexico and love it! 350 days of sunshine per year, no traffic, low cost of living, wide open spaces, amazing camping and hiking, and spectacular scenery. I’m really not looking forward to moving back East where it’s expensive, crowded, hectic, and stressful.
is the violence is bad as the video was saying? I drove through NM and the place felt pretty sleepy to me, and the scenery and architecture was great. I didn't get the impression it was dangerous.
@@rexx9496 Albuquerque is rough. I lived there from 2012 to 2014 and got bit by a dog while jogging (and then threatened by the owner), assaulted in a Subway "restaurant", hit by a car riding my bike to work (driver pulled in front of me as I was in the cross walk, then proceeded to scream at me and then drive off), nearly hit by another car turning when I was crossing the road (I jumped on the hood and got lucky I wasn't really hurt), had a knife pulled out on me by a drunk on the bus, nearly got jumped by a group of bums when I spoke up at a bus stop when they were harassing middle school girls (cops were nearby so they didn't pull anything), had to chase a guy on the bus when he grabbed my cell phone out of my hand as he was getting off of the bus (I caught him and he immediately gave up), had to outrun and jump a fence bc someone's pit bull got out/roamed free, and had a gun pulled on me and someone else when they got into a pissing match over passing each other driving home one night (my dude was definitely in the wrong, he froze up like a coward at the stop sign and I had to go out there and talk them down so they didn't shoot us). My Mom was worried sick about me (she lives in Kentucky) and due to a shit economy in that city where there's literally no opportunity for "non skilled" high school graduate labor (that's on me for dropping out of college) to make enough to get my own vehicle so I was probably exposed to the "elements" more than what was safe. Sad thing was, I lived in the "nicer part" of the city too. I scrimped and saved a few months in knowing that living there was a terrible idea and got the hell out. I'm a big fit guy too. I wonder what could of happened if I was someone who couldn't defend themselves.

Funny how you mentioned the lack of snow in Kentucky. I lived there for about 6 years and I remember getting snow days for a CHANCE of snow. Most of the time it didn’t even snow.😂😂😂
I'm from Africa and ive always dreamed of moving to the US. Is it worth it? And which would be the best state with low cost of living, better wages, warmer climate and having a coastline in your opinion?
As a proud Virginian, I am glad that my state surpassed basically our biggest rival, Maryland. I also have major family connections with Massachusetts and North Carolina, so I'm glad those all got into the top 15! (:
My only complaint would be not a lot of positives were mentioned in some states (even top 25); & then when you get to the top, only the positives are listed. It would be good to hear both + & - for each state.
@@mrchopsticks3 but then again does taxing really matter that much is rank #1 for healthcare, economic opportunity, lowest crime and poverty rate? It would be well worth it then. The states at the bottom have the lowest tax rates.

As a Wisconsin resident, I absolutely do not wish I lived in Florida, you get used to the cold, and it's a pretty great all around state, Florida is booming like crazy, crawling with tourists, pretty expensive, and sinking into the water
As a Michigan resident I agree with you about the cold. Admittedly around this time of year after a few months of cold weather I'm ready for Spring to hit but that's what Iove about the midwest is that you get 4 distinct seasons. My parents retired and live in San Diego now and a couple years ago I decided to try to move out there to be around them and my brother, besides the cost of living being too high for me I didn't like the fact that every single day all year round was basically the same weather wise. It sounds crazy to say but being 75-80 and sunny virtually every day year round sounds like a dream but to me it felt like Groundhog's Day. I like having some diversity in my weather. And yeah I would not want to live in Florida either, I'll visit it every few years but after a week I'm ready to go home.

Ayyy Utah represent! #2 is better than expected considering how the housing prices are skyrocketing across the Salt Lake Valley. Also "Utonians" made me chuckle. We're actually called Utahns, though I am fully aware that sounds even sillier
The problem with ranking an entire state is that each state is broken up into lots of cities. If a person prefers a large city that might work. I live in a small town in Missouri now, but prior to that I have lived in almost every state in the United States, and of all of them I prefer Missouri. However, I would definately NOT live in St. Louis.

Hawaii is beautiful, yes. But it lacks many of the conveniences other states take for granted. And I am shocked that it has the best healthcare in the country considering I have to fly to another island to see a doctor.
Doesn't Hawaii have one of the worst housing crises or something. I heard it's almost impossible to own a house there. A lot of multi-generational homes.
As a Minnesotan I must say, I think Minnesota was ranked pretty fair, but as much as we as a state may dislike Wisconsin I think it deserves to be much higher. I think it’s actually very similar to Minnesota (despite a couple differences in landscape) so I was surprised that it’s not in the top 10
I grew up in Wisconsin and have spent the bulk of my adult life in Minnesota. I feel the same way about Wisconsin. I understand why it didn't rank as high, but it still feels like it should be closer to Minnesota. I have come to believe that the major advantage that Minnesota has over Wisconsin on ranking like this comes down to population distribution. Most of the people and industries in Minnesota are clustered very close together. By comparison, the population of Wisconsin is spread out all over the place; the state's resources are spread very thin.
Yeah, Wisconsin is pretty similar to Minnesota. We both very much understand each other about the important things. Like Winter. We hate it but honestly love it.
@@raffilemon1137 yea I live in Maryland and Baltimore has the city and suburbs. Generally, Baltimore is safe as long as you stay out of sketchy areas like you would in any other city.
As a New Yorker, saying upstate is affordable is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. The housing market is ridiculous and the taxes are so high that it hurts to think about. HOWEVER: upstate is gorgeous. The Adirondacks are beautiful, especially in the fall. There are so many mountains and lakes that it’s easy to forget that it is still in NY. Also, the public education is really good and there are plenty of great (although super expensive) colleges
Eh, I honestly can agree on where you ranked my home state of Arizona (mostly as there are still plenty of things unique to this state). The only nice thing is that we have unique types of plants and animals that can only be found in the desert climate. But other than that, the heatwaves we get are some of the worst. Even if you are born and raised as an Arizona native like me, you still never get used to the weather conditions that occur here.
@@nandoramirez7736 are you sure you want to move to Arizona? We tend to deal with more excessive heatwaves than California does, and on top of that, we don’t always get a decent amount of rain. If you are fine with that aspect of living in the Grand Canyon State, then I think you would enjoy it.
@@KaylaPearlCPNinja I’m a warm blooded person! I prefer to live in an environment where it’s preferably hot all year round. I live in North Carolina and it can get pretty cold during this time of the year.
Ohioan here. Not really surprised or mad about our ranking. We're ahead of Michigan, so that's all that matters (also, being ahead of Pennsylvania was a pleasant surprise).

Investing in assets like stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies that are not influenced by the government is critical presently, given the ongoing global economic downturn. It is an opportune time to diversify your sources of income and broaden your investment portfolio.

I jokingly went on a rant about California and Florida basically being the liberal and conservative versions of each other the other day, without really thinking it through, just joking casually and observing some surface level similarities, but as I sat with it, I feel like it's pretty accurate.
Not really. California is overwhelmingly Democratic at every level, from national elections to state to local. Florida is much closer to being a purple state. DeSantis won against Gillum by less than 1% of the vote. It's not like California where the Democrat will win by probably 20 points. Florida also voted twice for Obama. Trump won by several points. I don't think California has voted for a Republican president since the 80s. California is nowhere near as close in elections as Florida is so I don't think they are fair comparisons. California is WAY more Democratic than Florida is Republican in mix of voters. Florida seems really conservative right now because DeSantis is always in the news and he's trying to become prominent to help his presidential run in 2024, so he's kind of loud and always trying to virtue signal to the GOP that he's the real deal and should be the nominee. But let's not forget, DeSantis BARELY won his election, it was a statically tie between a very conservative candidate and a very liberal one. In California it wouldn't even have been close.
@@rexx9496 Florida hasn’t had a Democrat Governor in like 30 years. Florida has also been turning more Red because of those from Bama and Georgia moving to the Pan Handle due to job relocation. 1% in Florida is like 30*-50* thousand people. California has also had a Republican Governor more recently than Florida has had a Democrat Governor. In Local Government, Florida is very much a Red State. They only flip on General Elections. Not really state wide races
Can you Ski in Florida?? Nope. Plus it’s Humid. Judging by Weather and Geography. Nothing comes close to California. You can drive an hour in one direction and be on the beach. An hour in another direction and be in the Snow. San Diego is literally 72 degrees and partly sunny all year around. Now, if going by Politicians and their policies. California sucks!
I moved to Utah from England last year and I was happy (also slightly surprised) to see it ranked 2nd! I love this country and I'm excited to visit more states.
Doesn’t California constantly have droughts, very little rain, and a climate that facilitates some of the worst air quality? Are you sure that’s considered great weather?
@@kool.kj11 yea droughts all the time but residents themselves don't really need to worry about it. I personally don't like rain and hate it when it's humid so that is definitely good climate for me. In terms of air quality, yea we get wildfires like every summer but it also depends on where you live. There are plenty of places with lots of wind to disperse pollutants. My favorite city is Irvine, close enough to the beach for great temperatures and nice breezes, far enough so it's not too humid.

I grew up in Illinois and moved to Colorado a few years ago. I can say the cost of living are very similar and the employment opportunities are equal. The biggest con of Colorado is the increasing homelessness and the biggest con of Illinois is the ever-increasing taxes and the overpopulation of the Chicago suburbs. I love both, but I’m not sure if I’ll be purchasing in either state.
I live in Iowa. Our taxes are pretty high too. Whats up with that? I have heard for years people making runs for Missouri, as they have very low taxes.
Christine, Howabout all you folks from the east coast, mid America moving to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Oregon, Washington??????????? With your attitudes trying to change the states I just mentioned??? Notice you never here of people from the west moving east??? Dispute that fact!
I want to take a road trip across the United States, traveling through every state to experience the culture, food, sights, and people along the way. 🤩
As someone who lives in Utah: spot on. Utah’s great. The weather is weird, but overall it’s nice. The schools are…mostly… great, and the people here are super nice!
Holy crap you absolutely nailed the “Beige Cookie Cutter Homes” for Arizona. As much as I love my state, most of the neighborhoods do look the same. Though I believe the houses were made to have that Desert theme to them, which I think is actually pretty cool. And I feel like the Desert aesthetic is a bit underrated, cause it can look beautiful.
There are a lot of Minnesotans commenting here. Surprising for such a humble people. Still their ranking is very good and true to form they are very nice.
“…and while the granite state may be small I don’t think anyone’s surprised it came out on top”. As a NH resident watching this video from the beginning I kept thinking “wow, we’re top 25” then “top 10 no way” then “top 5 stfu” then “wow, first time I’ve ever won anything!”. Seriously I love the mountains, ocean, jobs and schools. Hate the politics and highest property taxes in the country.
I'm born raised in living Dayton Ohio and I've seen it when the city was booming and I'm watching it now as a crumbles. The 2008 housing market crushed the city of Dayton. You literally drive down every Street in the city of Dayton and you see empty and deserted houses. I think the city of Dayton was affected most in 2008 out of all cities
I remember that my teacher was teaching us about financial literacy. She mentioned how a teenager working as a cashier was dealing with her money. She told us how he mixed up the coins and stuff, so I wasn’t surprised to hear that the school education was low at Tennessee.
@@Flamingo123e All states will have school districts that range from excellent to mediocre. Your teacher probably had an illegal alien cashier that wasn't yet familiar with US currency. I run into them all the time here in Texas with all grateful that I caught their errors since that would've made their cash drawer short at the end of their shift. Counting back change has become a lost art since most just gather up what the register shows and stick it into your open hand.
As someone who lives in Utah, lemme give you a big piece of advise. If you’re thinking of moving here, it’s probably best not to come to Utah Valley. As tempting as it is, the houses here are *insanely expensive* due to so many people moving in. It’s getting so expensive that people are moving to Salt Lake City, (the capital,) because housing is cheaper there now. I know some students who are paying nearly $1000 a month for a small one bedroom and one bathroom apartment in Provo. Also because of Utah Valley being a valley, we get a lot of inversion and the air quality can get pretty shit sometimes. Also, you’re definitely gonna encounter missionaries almost anywhere in Utah, but especially in Utah Valley. There is literally a church on every corner, so if you don’t want missionaries at your door all the time and your neighbors constantly giving you a Book of Mormon, then Utah Valley is not for you. (but the neighbors are really nice people though and luckily, not all of them discriminate people for religion.) But, if you really want to go to Utah valley, Orem and Provo are probably the most expensive. I guess you could try American Fork or Draper. Of course their are other places in Utah, but they aren’t as populated or developed as Utah Valley and Salt Lake. All that said, I do like where I live and I think Utah is a pretty great place in general, there’s just a few things I really don’t like tho.
Adding to the Mormon thing. There's 2 types: annoying types that shove their religion onto you and have an elistist view. The second is the chill Mormons who might mention it here or there but overall are really pleasant people to be around and will accept you as part of their community even if you don't go to church. Sadly the annoying ones are the ones you'll run into the most. The biggest thing to remember is that the Mormon community built both Utah and Idaho to the powerhouses they are. You don't have to follow everything bit of their way of life but they seemed to have figured out the formula if both states are in the top 10. Also avoid Utah valley that whole valley is easily one of the farthest right leaning cities that ain't racist out there. The annoying Mormons love living there because of BYU. That being said I've been to a few universities in the state and UVU is easily one of the best and it's really inexpensive to boot. Especially their Psych program. Lastly if you're a geek or a nerd welcome to heaven cause Utah is THE nerd state. The local comicon is so good that when we got Stan Lee he straight up told the entire MCU cast to avoid San Diego Comicon because he loved SL FanX so much. There's honestly as many card shops as churches here.
It did suprise me that utah was top 2 though. Although I love living in Utah, I usually think most people outside of utah dont care about it or dont like it, but I guess I was wrong
I lived in brigham city for a year and it's a year I would like to have back. Mormons are everywhere, and whatever you do, don't call it the book of mormon. That's a musical, u gotta say the book of Jesus Christ latter-day saints every time
One thing you didn’t mention about Washington. Atleast in seattle, the air quality was spectacular. I went there for about a week on vacation, and being a heavy asthmatic i brought my inhaler. I didnt have to use it once. Usually in Atlanta (hometown) ill have to use it 2-3 times a day. So just wanted to mention that
I actually moved from seattle to a small forest house a couple hours away when I was a kid because of asthma, by city standards it's defintely above average air, but it's still a big city, some parts are fine some not so much (granted I'm no longer asthmatic)
Every city on the west coast other than LA is usually pretty good for air quality. Not during fire season though, and that's getting longer and longer every year.
I was born & raised in IL, lived in FL for a brief bit and am currently living in WA, so I've lived on both coasts and in the midwest. I've also traveled to 45 of the 50 states, so I've seen this country pretty extensively. Overall, I'd say this list is actually pretty darn good. Sure there's some wiggle room for some states, with cases that could be made to lower or raise slightly. I can't really see any state that should be moved much though, in either direction. Ultimately, there is no best place for everyone to live, but there is a best place for each individual.
Oregon is far too low. It’s easily a Top. 10 State. The Oregon Coast in the summer is insanely amazing. I’ve been to all 50 States and driving the Oregon Coast is a Top. 5 Highlight in the USA for me. Illinois should be higher for a Chicago alone, such a great city, South Carolina is also super underrated (go to Charleston in your life if you can).
@@anastassiosperakis2869 i stayed in Holladay, on the SLC outskirts. I’d happily live there it’s beautiful, people are very friendly, the schools are good. If I did choose to move to the US, holladay would be very high on my list
Gaylord, love to go up there every summer, but as a Indiana citizen they did me and the rest of the Hoosiers dirty, filled with pullution bs, its damn beautiful farm land and great small towns
I’m surprised to see Delaware scored better than California, having grew up in DE and living in CA now. I do miss shopping sales tax free, most underrated part about living in Delaware for sure
OK but You honestly can't compare Some of these states to cali this is the best state in the country ofc that's just an opinion but it's just amazing here 😂
California is terrible lol, crime and homelessness is skyrocketing and the economy is getting worse. Not to mention the ridiculous affordability. More people are packing their bags and going elsewhere like Texas and Florida than are moving in
Great list, although I think Missouri and Oklahoma should have a higher rating. With Missouri, as long as you stay away from the sketchy areas, most of the state is relatively safe and it’s cheap. There is also tons of jobs in Missouri. With Oklahoma, it’s a very family friendly state, and everyone is very friendly there. It is also one of the cheapest states to buy a house and rent an apartment. I honestly think that the problems that you mentioned in the video are mostly from the politicians in both Missouri and Oklahoma. Minus the politicians, I think Missouri and Oklahoma are both solid places to live.
Yes! I went some towns north of Tulsa a few years ago and it they were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and it’s very fun to walk around the streets (also Tulsa itself has been doing good)
I grew up in Louisiana and I can tell you this list is pretty accurate, i lived in Lake Charles 2 hours east of Houston and there is lots of pollution from the oil refineries all along the Gulf Coast. And there is a lot of poverty there.
Not American but I love Washington. The beautiful nature and parks, Seattle, four seasons, beaches, economy, boeing, it has everything I’m looking for. Good to see it among the top 5 states
As a Minnesotan i can agree and for added bonus i can give some experience. The school I'm in 7th grade, most people in my home city and schools are nice but... the temps are BRUTAL during winter, it is Alaska but during summer it is an OVEN so yeah 5 is definetly a pretty fair rating
I'm from Finland and I remember my geography teacher asking the whole class "If you were able to choose a state where to live in the USA what would it be?" I've always been quite good in geography and I even know all the 50 states and where they're located so my answer was like "Probably in Virginia or Colorado.." I've just always thought these states must be better than average states in pretty much every way. Climate, nature, education, job opportunities, safety etc. It's nice to see both of the states I answered are doing better than average hahah Many others answered, more or less tongue in cheek, places like Hawaii, California and Florida of course. 😂 At least there you don't have to suffer from cold or snow.
Hey☺I do not think I know you I'm sorry if a subscriber bothering you, I just want to make new friends, that's why I sent this. Excuse me if it bothers you??
California would be perfect if it weren't for leftist policies and Gavin newsom that completely destroyed it. You would almost have to try to mess things up in California. It's not for no reason many California's are leaving to AZ, NV or FL.
California is one of the most beautiful places for nature, yet where most of the jobs and people live isn't. You've got to get out and explore to appreciate California, and with it being one of the biggest states, that's hard to do if you have a career and family to take care of. Most people would be better off living in a small town in the Midwest and enjoying the outdoors closer to home.
Grew up in NH and consider it home. But my "second home" is Utah, my Mom grew up there, I went to college there and lived there for about ten years, my sister now lives there, and all of my extended family live there. Guess I am pretty lucky to have strong ties to both #1 and #2 on your list.
I think I’ll have to visit those 2 states one day to see why are those 2 states the best in the nation. Idk but despite the crime rate and poverty in California. In my opinion I call California home. And I don’t think I’ll ever move out. We got the beaches and the mountains in just a few hours drive. It’s home to my 49ers and LA Clippers. So I feel California is the best state to live for me.
@@MK8MasterJunjie Yeah if you want to work for a wannabe Silicon Valley tech company, come to Utah!
Why my state at 50 we are a good state but I am still happy you talk about the state

As someone who doesn’t live in America, this was really informative and super interesting to get a glimpse of all the different states, since I wouldn’t know the first thing about life in America
I would watch a different ranking video before passing too much judgement, lol. As an American who's traveled a lot, most of the commentary isn't reflective of what the actual state is like
Neither did the person who made this video...
I found this video very inaccurate.

These rankings are based more on the economy of each state; this video doesn’t take into account the qualitative and lifestyle aspects of living in each state
Agree
True but you can't exactly enjoy your state if you're dead due to unsafe neighborhoods, bad healthcare, and/or poverty.
If it's base in economy florida should be no39
Yeah if it was was based on taxes, weather, quality of life , and rude people then New York would be near the top 👍
Which makes for good table water.
Plus Minnesota has Duluth!
Only it’s overrun with horrible politicians , DA’s and corrupt bureaucrats
Gotta consider cost of getting fuel and food here .
Why is that surprising? Look at where alaska is lol.

Pros:
Fall foliage, zero crime, great health care, great education, clean beaches, mountains, clean towns, no state income tax.

I jokingly went on a rant about California and Florida basically being the liberal and conservative versions of each other the other day, without really thinking it through, just joking casually and observing some surface level similarities, but as I sat with it, I feel like it's pretty accurate.
Texas and New York are the Conservative and Liberal Opposites of each other as well

Washington is expensive but it’s beautiful, we have so many things to do especially in the summer and the air quality is amazing
It's nice to see both of the states I answered are doing better than average hahah
Many others answered, more or less tongue in cheek, places like Hawaii, California and Florida of course. 😂 At least there you don't have to suffer from cold or snow.
As a person from Virginia i love this stated besides the allergys
Hey☺I do not think I know you
I'm sorry if a subscriber bothering you, I just want to make new friends, that's why I sent this.
Excuse me if it bothers you??
California would be perfect if it weren't for leftist policies and Gavin newsom that completely destroyed it.
You would almost have to try to mess things up in California. It's not for no reason many California's are leaving to AZ, NV or FL.
Yes, you have to suffer there from heat ))
Imagine not liking snow 😂

I love how he said by rating but cal has bad crime, schools, one of the worst cost of living, and economic growth is declining
@@lcrowe2011 that’s why most people are leaving
@@lcrowe2011 visiting is amazing but I would not want to live there
I love the humor and chuckled several times.
Polish person here. The US seems like such a diverse and interesting place, I definitely wanna visit one day
And I want to go to Poland!
@@MichelleSlotChik No, you don't
@@MichelleSlotChik You better hurry because Poland will soon be part of Russia.
It sucks here
You are not welcome
@@antonioarriaga7017 It’s also home to Silicon Valley so if I wanted to work for one of the big tech companies I would have to move there anyway.
@@MK8MasterJunjie Or you could move to Utah and work in the Silicone Hills
@@MK8MasterJunjie Yeah if you want to work for a wannabe Silicon Valley tech company, come to Utah! (Spoken as someone who owns a wannabe Silicon Valley tech company in Utah)
California is cool though. I used to work in the bay area, and outside of the traffic and pollution, it’s an amazing place that I’d love to return to someday.
@@fabsmaster5309 Which place in Utah is the best? I’ve never been there but I know there’s a city built on a salt lake.
I have lived in New Hampshire all my life and I have enjoyed it. Seeing it ranked as number one got me really excited.

MA resident here. I love all of New England! Vermont will always be #1 in my heart though. Such a quaint, scenic state 😊
