@@RealGhvstyI have a JLU Sport that's lifted on 35s with some Willys rims and Rubicon rock rails plus a few other small mods. Wanting to regear soon for better off (and on!) road performance. I've done 4/10 On-X Off Road trails with it so far, hoping to take it to windrock this summer and do some more.
Friendly reminder that a stock rubicon has 4.10 gears, lockers front/rear, a 4:1 transfer case, and electronic swaybar disconnects. There’s a reason it’s the most capable stock vehicle made.
Yup. And you can option them from the factory with a 1” lift, steel bumpers, a winch, snorkel, 35s and 4.56 gears. It’s expensive AF ($64k+) but it can be done.
Yes, that is a “stock Jeep” but it’s also a Rubicon which has a lift, sway bar disconnect and locking front and rear differentials designed for rock crawling… so yes it’s a stock Jeep but far from a sport
I've had my JKU since 2015, and it's still a stock build. The closest to off-road driving conditions I have encountered are unplowed, snow-covered Chicago streets in the winter and pot hole streets in the Spring.

I wouldn't worry about damaging the body panels, they will corrode within 4 years because every hinge is bare aluminum under them. The seam sealer is also applied directly to the aluminum. I have a constant supply of warranty work on these. Not to mention the hinge bolts are steel and the hinges are aluminum. A primer and stainless hardware would solve all the jeep corrosion issues. Every time you apply the brakes, steel dust goes everywhere, including between the small gaps at the hinges. Jeep luckily covers 5 years back unless you got the extended warranty then obviously longer. It's a full repaint and I've yet to see a jeep have matching paint between the metal, plastic, and hardtop so when we do them, they match much better. The windshields are also corroding and the fenders on occasion. These jls will not last like my 97 has.
Not to mention a lower CG due to battery weight… I’m not a 4xe fan, mostly because you can’t get a manual transmission with the package… but this jeep crawled right over the obstacles

yeah stock JL rubicon, you already AT tires and locking difs and a 4:1 transfer case. Imagine trying to do this in a stock TJ from the 1999, small street tires, no lockers, pshh.

Should we really be allowed to call Rubicon's stock? It's a misleading term when you really think about it. Stock typically means basic, Rubicon's are anything but basic. 🤷🏼♂️✌️

Owned a Jeep my whole life! There really is nothing like a Wrangler even though the Clowns rip on it they most likely never owned one. BTW one of the best resale on the market!
Good luck finding a charger at the top.
Good thing it's a hybrid with a gas engine and 375 hp and 470 lb-ft.
Well...i pretty sure you KNEW you could make it
That is not a difficult hill. I’m always amazed at the mistakes that are made on it.
The same can be said of interstate highways, if you think about it.
@@lindaspins That’s very true.
You should try this out with a friend
Moab meaning "mother of all bombs"?
It's a 4xe, not a big deal if you ruin it
Bruh those 4xEs make way more torque than the 392. They are also faster
Not with this tires or the height
I love stock rigs
yeah stock JL rubicon, you already AT tires and locking difs and a 4:1 transfer case. Imagine trying to do this in a stock TJ from the 1999, small street tires, no lockers, pshh.
Wide tires look cool but they make traction suck
I hate the idea of an electric Jeep, UNLESS the electric motors are designed to not impact the Jeep getting me to work if they fail. AND, I can turn them off until I get to the trail and then turn them on for crawling like lockers.
I did this same route in my riding mower.....
I could get a sedan up that small hill. 😂
Some people have more money than brains
Should we really be allowed to call Rubicon's stock? It's a misleading term when you really think about it. Stock typically means basic, Rubicon's are anything but basic. 🤷🏼♂️✌️
But why do you want to break it
I want one. But I can’t bring myself to spend 60k on a Jeep. I just can’t.
aint no offroad rig till its been over moabs bump n dump.
I feel like this would be a little bit less click bait if it was a bone stock sport. That is like to see when people post "bone stock" Rubicon videos.
