How else do you kill it i only hit the chin
Make sure you have complete awareness of your surroundings. Uragaan's bombs don't all go off at once, so you can be caught unaware by a bomb you didn't know was there.
One of my favorite ways to fight him is to fight fire with fire and bring a hammer. You can use a lot of the environment against him and use those sweet sonic spins to land concussive headshots and KO him into next week.

3:28 when I first fought a Deviljho on my alt character, A Uragaan rolled in and started fighting the Jho. whenever I knock over the Jho, the Uragaan would chin slam it.
The fight ended with shoving a dragon piercer down its throat Jho tried to eat me. However, Uragaan did not escape the fight undamaged, his chin and back were broken.
Not once did the Uragaan attack me, it saved me.
The deviljho was the one who saved me from Uragaan when he was about to pound me.

That stun resist. Now I remember why I automatically equip sticky bomb builds against it. I have been wondering why I keep fighting explosions with even more explosions. You'd think he'd actually be resistant to it.
I remember fighting him in 3U and trying to break it's chin with my DB. Never really worked that well that often, usually used a bomb.
Also, why does he have chloroform gas?
The ores it ate has some chemical component to produce sleeping gas that it expunged through its side

No major tips outside of a small warning for lance users. Some monsters, fabled beasts of yore, have attacks that have such high hitboxes that they basically treat your block as nonexistent. The chin slam is one of these. If you want to block it you have to be far away, close up means itd hitbox will smack you from behind.

Gabe's going to have to mention Lavasioth is somewhat weak to fire, since fire softens his armor and water hardens it instantly despite being his elemental weakness.
