I remember how devastated I was when you announced that you were discontinuing this series 3 years ago which is why I am so happy you started it up again. Its also quite coincidental because me an a group of friends who have a wide variety of experience with MH are planning to start a world run in winter break. Even after about 1000+ hours in world you still manage to teach me something new about MHW.

There's new videos!!!! I'm so fucking happy! I missed this series sooo much and was sad to see it just stop after Teostra. God... I can't believe I am tearing up about this.
-If you’re an actual gigachad, Lunastra is susceptible to interruption after the first blast of her nova. -The flame patches will detonate when Lunastra blasts them with wind. They scatter onto the ground, then once wind touches them, they burst and knock you down. Sort of like a backdraft. So try not to stand in those too often, because that’s actually her main source of interruption. -The tail swipe hits twice. Teostra’s does not. -Both Lunastra and Teostra have a “charge-up” animation where they will disengage and start to turn up the heat so they can go glowy and hot and painful and HELP- Flinching or clutch clawing them will interrupt this. -Fun fact: In the event of a Lunastra/Teostra bond, there’s a 50/50 chance they will switch novas. While bathing in the other’s scales, they may use their mate’s fire instead. This happens if Lunastra ends up in the air.
I am so happy to this, I’ve just gotten back into MH and I’ve got a couple of my friends into it. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, you sure have made my Christmas/year. Thank you👌🏼

Kushala set bonus is how I cleaned house with arch luna originally. Getting rid of her god awful wind pressure completely flips the fight. You’ll be surprised just how much she was locking you down with it.
This thing's been in my Steam library for a few years now, I've been meaning to get around to getting a device that can actually run it, and if you're resuming this series, that may be my cue to do so! Glad you're back.
I know these videos are a lot of work, and burn out is a real thing, but your presentation is amazing and I want to see all the monsters! Obviously do whats best for you, but I hope you will continue

One thing that got left out, I had gotten confused with Lunastra initially due to its lack of water weakness, but apparently water weapons *can* help put out the puddles of fire everywhere. Of course they’ll just get reignited but could come in handy

A note you missed is that the wind pressure of her wings spreading fire or her nova isn’t blocked by the regular skill, but is a non issue if you have a hunting horn with “negate all wind pressure” song or kushala’s 3 piece set bonus
So dragon weapons with high elder seal are more useful than you think let me explain how the fight mechanically works as a veteran : So lunastra slowly charges up her heat as the fight progresses and when it reaches max she will do the nova and reset it the higher her heat the more puddles of fire, more heat damage and more fire related moves so when it's maxed out "aka when she glows bright blue" equip fire mantle and keep an eye for the nova animation to run away... Remember when the nova happens the fire puddles combust and deal heavy damage as well as knocking you back so don't go near them and go as far as you can... So where do dragon weapons come to play ? See dragon weapons reduce her heat level in other words a pro can actually remain aggressive and never allow her to even use her nova at all... The key in general is grabbing a dragon weapon and high fire resistance and just go nuts at her the more aggressive you are the more you will be able to reduce her heat which in turn will allow you to be more aggressive

I used this series to beat base monster hunter before iceborne but it is good to see Gabe back
I found that the shara ishvalda armor is a great help; gets rid of air pressure, flinching, and synergizes with the mantles.
