I'd love to see a species profile on that African Butterfly I see in the background.

Nice tank I haven't kept any danios in a long time but I've had normal and giant danios.

Hello! I’ve recent rescued a long fin zebra danio amongst some other fish so thank you for the helpful info!
I was wondering about the pink loach looking fella, what kind is he?
We have an identical one but haven’t been able to confidently identify him.

Hey thanks for checking out the video! The loach in that tank is a young Dojo loach! They get quite large!

@@lakesregionaquariums2887 thank you! Ours is getting quite big as well; so we were curious if it could be a Dojo.
Thank you so much for the response!

Good info! Thanks! How do you like your single angel? I have a 55 gallon with a large school of skirt tetras & I was considering adding a single black angel fish like your tank… thoughts?

Totally fine! With the Tetras the angel really wont see them as a threat to itself and rarely will you see it give tetras a chase, however I like to start my angelfish relatively small so they may grow with my schooling fish just so it becomes more comfortable with faster moving tetras in the tank as it ages in life, and by the time it is full grown it will completely ignore tetras and other schooling fish, really appreciate out checking out my video🙂

Nice man! Super cool tank action, how do you like keeping them?

I like longfin danios they're easier to see when they move around I did notice my dwarf gourami didn't do well with the longfin danios and I'm guessing a betta is out of the question with long-finned Daniels

    • @lakesregionaquariums2887

@@stevenahlberg1542 yeah the betta would definitely be a risk id feel, the long fins usually cause some unwanted attention from eachother, the danios being more agile could definitely do more damage to long finned fish they feelbis a threat, what kind of gourami did you try? Was it a dwarf or powder blue? Those guys can be sensitive to a whole number of things, even fast moving fish, onw gourami ive found to do better in a environment with faster schooling fish is the pearl gourami
