These guys are definitely one of my favorite fish, they kinda look and swim like mini salmon imo. Only downside is that they're skiddish and stupid, so catching them could be really difficult. There were multiple times that one of them would get stuck after darting between a rock or log, I'd definitely recommend a large, mostly open tank for them to minimize this kind of risk
There's a small creek near my home that's full of these little guys. They can be found in a lot of streams throughout Myanmar even in urban canals with clean water!

Completely agree! My favorite danio species, really underrated. But, they are spazzes and fast! Lots of open area is a great idea.

Yes I have a 40 gallon with them community style tank serape tetras and pearl danios I can say that pearl danios are probably my most social fish
