First it was Zelda’s Lullaby backwards that gave us Skyward Sword main theme. Now Hyrule Castle theme backwards gave us Lorule Castle. Not bad. Thanks for the info! :) I never knew.
This game is amazing. Did you know that, in order to get the top down perspective for the game, the developers had to tilt everything? Even Link himself!
It’s actually quite cool! I noticed it too when merging to the back of a house next to some grass. You can also see it with the totems near the water palace
@@masonengland306 An orthographic camera that views everything on an angle would give a similar effect without having to tilt everything, but in order to do that, it has to completely remove perspective. This worked for the ds zelda games where everything on screen was on a similar level, but dungeons in A link between worlds had places with several overlapping floors on different heights, all visible on the same screen. Places like the tower of Hera or the one massive cavern inside of death mountain would lose its sense of depth if lower levels did not shrink in perspective as you went higher up.
I love how the music gets more intense as you advance. This became a tradition with BOTW's Divine Beasts and TOTK's temples. This was an epic Zelda game.
It's actually a bit of a Zelda tradition in general with final dungeons, as Ocarina of Time's Ganon Tower and Twilight Princess' Hyrule Castle did this too

This game was pretty damn solid for what was supposed to just be an experiment to see how more freedom can affect the Zelda formula. I'm glad to see elements of it being implemented in the series today, and the escalating soundtrack is one of the best.
Skyward sword's skyview temple does this you first enter with tranquil tone and you get to the small room with the water and four doors you hear clarinet, and when you get to that big room you hear choirs!

Nintendo makes great games, but real shit decisions when it comes to the fans. Like, if you aren’t going to release the OST or make a good remaster of a game to your newest console (OoT and MM for switch), then don’t be pissed when other people do the work for you. There is going to be a OoT remaster made on the Unreal Engine which will release soon, I recommend to you that when it releases that you download the game somehow ASAP because Nintendo will more than likely take it down.
Lorule castle is absolutely incredible. It’s my favorite soundtrack not in just ALBW, but the entire Zelda series. I love how it grows in intensity as you get closer to the Throne room and how your going to fight Yuga with the Master Sword and the triforce of courage.

I did'nt play this game in years tbh, but unless there are some mini-boss / boss rematch in the castle (I have no clue tbh), then it's not related to bosses. When I was in high school when this game first came out, I had downloaded this song to my phone. It was the perfect length for me to walk between the 2 sites of the school.
The fact that more layers are added to the song as you progress upwards and unlock more areas is absolutely GENIOUS to me, and i didnt even realise it was Hyrule Castle in reverse until a few years after my 1st playthrough
A nice detail with this song, for every miniboss you beat in the castle, more instruments are added to the theme, making it more intese the further you get.

I began with OoT when i was 4 r 5 it was like 18 years ago on the old N64 of my uncle and im so nostalgic when i heard OoT tracks (most iconic zelda themes)
I used to "speedrun" this game when i was like, 6. One of my favorite things to do was getting through the desert without shifting dimension, and then i learned that was a speedrun technique and just started doing it all the time because it made me feel cool lol. I miss the early 2010's.
The 3DS really had some great original games. I need to play this one again. I remember 100% completing it years ago was a lot of fun, but now I've forgotten most of it.
