    What parameters are you using to judge which is best and worst? That does not come up clearly because Sasame is polyunsaturated fat that oxidise very easily which then makes it very inflammatory esp if you gonna use it for cooking. So tell us what are you using to judge these oils.

      From what I picked up right at the beginning of this video, Dr Gundry is using “polyphenols “ a the main parameter

    What is your opinion on Camelia oil? 38% Omega 3 with natural Vitamin E. Is this a good or bad oil? Not necessarily as a cooking oil, but to take as a supplement. Thank you for your time. Doug & Sandra

    Dr. Gundry, how can one find out if the oil is oxidized or not? Are there any brands that third party certify non-oxidation? I have read that PUFA's & MUFA"s oxidize very quickly and most likely become rancid by the time the oil is in the supermarket. What are your thoughts regarding this? Your feedback would be very helpful indeed.

    The title says "cooking oils" but there's no mention of which oils are suitable for cooking. I've read that avocado oil (high smoke point) is okay for cooking at high temps. Is EVOO (olive oil) safe for cooking at high temps?

      From what I understand cold pressed means the oil was extracted by mechanical method, no chemical involved. Cold extracted hardly means anything, other than no heating was involved, but rest assured it is not likely by mechanical means, other than chemicals, what other method is there?

    • @passionatesingle
      @passionatesingle Год назад

      No special brand as long as it's extra virgin Italian, Spanish or Greek olive oil. A lot of Greek olive oil is sold to Italy and Spain and then sold as Italian or Spanish. This year there is such a shortage 9f olive oil prodction in general because of the fires in these areas that it has really gone up in price. Italians and Spaniards eat about 12 litres per person a year whereas the Greeks eat about double that.

    What about Black walnut oil. From a sustainability perspective we have millions of black walnut trees thriving in the United States. Climate change is going to make it more difficult to get olive oil to the masses. We are going to have to find alternatives that can be sustainably harvested.
