    Wow I have been critical of the Aston Martin interior design especially the infotainment system but the new DB12 looks amazing, the interior is very reminiscent of the latest Bentleys which is high praise indeed as they were the class leaders in the GT segment but not now! Congratulations Aston Martin on producing such a stunning looking vehicle.

    DB12 sounds like a name that you would put on a car with 12 cylinders. It's a pity that their flagship would have only V8 from now on. But I believe it's still great car. Don't want that to repeat the history after the Jaguar XJ220 and It's V12 (that became a V6).

    Gorgeous as all Aston's are, and what a MASSIVE step up in interior. Especially on the tech side. Nice to see them getting away from old Merc tech. I do have 3 small issues I have with the 12.
    I wish they would have given it a small duck tail spoiler, never been a fan of the tapered rear with the air blade. The mirrors are gimmicky, though pretty, but your car will always be asymmetrical since you need different angles for different views. And as cool and powerful as the new V8 is, a flagship Aston really should have a V12.

    I think they nailed it with this one. The front looks really good this time, compared to the dogshit that was db11. That was the only issue I had with db11 looks wise. Also vast upgrades in the interior, the tech and the infotainment. They dropped the old laggy merc tech. They improved how the interior looks, it looks cleaner and more stately now, kinda like Bentley. Well done.

    • @TheSolarium18
      @TheSolarium18 Год назад +1

      i really disagree the front on this one is so insanely unaesthetic.
      the bottom is so blocky and sticks too much out, the lower air intake is too blunt just a giant small mouth with a grin on the sides.
      it looks really cheap in some way and really similar to a ford fiesta ST-Edition.
      Where they nailed the front design is the dbs

    • @mrdouche9172

      @@TheSolarium18 Well I guess beauty is subjective and in the eye of the beholder. In my opinion, I think the front of the DBS looked better than the DB11, and this one looks better than the DBS. They'll probably release a new DBS/Vanquish later with a V12 engine, so that might look even better. But as far as I am concerned, the DB12 is peak design. I am very satisfied with the direction they went.

    Looks amazing. I love Aston; I would love to own one of these. But this car is not a game-changer. The automotive world is moving too fast for incremental improvements like this... To keep up, you need to be making immense strides, and although an improvement over the DB11, this car has no answer for the mega powered EV and hybrid competition that will leave it in the dust at a fraction of the price.
    The Valkyrie was brave. It was a departure from expectations and left us all stunned. The DB12 is not, and it will be obsolete at launch. Swing for the fences Aston, now isn't the time to play it safe!

    Looks nice, though the DB9 still has the best rear design of the last 30 years, but I think Aston missed on the name, they avoided DB8 back when the DB9 came out because they didn't want customers to be confused and think it had a V8 in it, now they name this one DB12 which confusingly has only a V8 and has no V12. Shoulda named it DB8. Hey Aston, I am confused, where is the V12 in the DB12???
