I remember when you guys got this and how excited you were- and how excited I was FOR you ! Yup- those generation 302s coupled with the AOD trans were just bulletproof :-)
Very kool van.Yes I have never seen a van like this on the road.So this is a one of a kind.I do remember when you got this.I was in awe of you because I would had brought this van also.Very shocked that you are selling it.Maybe you could rent this out.I know I would take this van off of your hands in a heart beat. Thanks for sharing this van with us.>:)))
Hey Olivia and Danny 👋 I wish I didn’t live so far away, I love tortuga ❤!! It is very similar to the high top 1977 ford van I have invested in repairing for mountain camping. In that it’s full of personality, no pop out just a lot of good traveling memories by a previous owner. And now that our NE Washington weather has melted most of the snow I’m excited for some adventure. That 350 motor and high clearance is almost as good as a 4x4. I wish I could share pictures!! I caught you both live a few weeks ago and you were so sweet to offer me first dibs, you’re the best Olivia😅 I really appreciated your renovation videos and your excitement about finding this gem. You really do need the room! I wish Tortuga many amazing adventures with its new owner. There is a huge van life community out there. Is it possible to send this to a specific person on RUclips?
I love this van. My husband and I have a couple of vintage campers we travel around with. One is a 68 Jet and the other is a 70 Rover. We are planning a trip down the Baja in a couple of years. We would love to drive Tortuga back down to her old stomping grounds. Let me know how much you are asking for her.
I had an 85 E-150 extended cargo van I used to drag race believe it or not it was really hopped up it had a factory 351W 4 barrel with a C6 transmission and 9 inch I rebuilt motor bored and stroked to a 400 CI made about 400 hp built C6 and rear end had a mini spool with 3:70 gears use to run 15 flat at track
I am curious about your van camper you may have sold by now, Did you ever look into adding like a rv a/c heater and if you did how much would that be to add? I would just hate running engine all night with that many miles! It Really is a Cool Van/ RV Good luck with all your projects
I was only here for this van. Cant really believe yall ever really used this for any real camping. All videos on it have a staged feel. But very cool van an lil lady is smoking hot in this update.
Can I send you guys some Ontario (from near Port Hope) maple syrup? I remember you guys used it in your stealth camping vid. 500 ml or 1 litre bottles. Let me know.
I think the wing should definitely go.!!! Its just not big enough for a shoebox chevy. Needs a fiberglass wing with some shape.Might look good on Danielle's caprice though.
My wife and I are interested. We are looking for a van that can take us to visit our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! We can’t seem to find a van that’s affordable for us and this one seems like it might be the best option. Thank You
1:05 Liv "So let's show the people what they really want to see" Danny...zooms in on Liv's ass. Lmao But seriously, cool van, and no I have never seen a van with a pop out. And I do like the name. Thanks
I'd be picky on the new owner too...In fact, I'd ask the interested what they do for a living...Tortuga is set up for a specific recreational lifestyle and it wouldn't make sense for a new buyer who might have a personal commercial business, like plumbing, construction, handyman, who would probably gut it for their trade.
They told us why they're selling in...First, one has to understand the personal attachment a person has for something that memories were made from, and for others that "something" could be anything...For Gnarly it happens to be their beloved Van that they would probably like to see remain intact and used similarly. THE VAN IS SOLD!!!

That’s a perfect hunting /fishing rig! 4 wheel drive would be killer but it would also be killer on the gas mileage. The pop-out is an awesome feature

Was not expecting a 302 in it. Was guessing a 460. Thats a super cool van. Ive never seen one before.
I remember those being built in my town in Elkhart, Indiana the Rv capital of the world 🌎 😊
I have a Four Season, camping sleeper van for fishing weekends, I enjoy white water 💧 fishing in Michigan 😊
Tortuga is so rad! Makes me want to cruise down to Rosarito for some lobsters and beers. Pass on the good times 🤙🤙
Best hotel of California hehe! sleept great hanging there in the air!
Videos of any length are always amazing!!!
Glad you like them!

Tape around the roof and windshield. Nothing but headaches. All set with that

What are the dimensions of bed?
Looks like the dimensions are one on top and one on the bottom.
😎😎😎
Don’t sell it to Bad Chad, he’ll make a chicken hauler out of it.😂
I will take it if you throw in Oliva.

205 lbs😂😂 more like 230lbs and thats removing 10lbs the camera adds.😊 Jk you could be 205 😉
why are yall selling it you just got it a few months ago
They have another camper RV and don't need this one anymore
@@2brokegamers664 they DO have a newer RV now; it is seen in almost every outdoor shot at the shop just outside the door!
We bought it over a year ago and we replaced it with our new RV. Plus we just don't have the space to keep it.
@@GnarlySpeedShop whats wrong with it
You didn’t watch the video basically nothing wrong with it. It’s mechanically fine. Pay attention to the video. She tells you everything.
