There were so many more amazing cars I wanted to show you but unfortunately the loud music would have gotten the video de-monetized. Let me know if you want to see more car show coverage in the future! -Olivia
I sure would. I'm subscribing today. I like the Handyman Wagon the best. I'd like to see one like that totally restored. I'm just saying. You don't see them anymore.
I'm getting very tired of all the patina cars, and especially the fake patina cars. They are really just a way to not finish a project car. Clear coat on rust is so ghetto !
Man, some days you just don’t want to end! Great show, neat location. I was fortunate enough to get to go to the second show (called ‘The Primer Nationals’ at that time). Thanks for sharing the visit with us!
Surprised how many Patina cars and trucks. That far west. Some really nice restorations. And Street machines, Hot Rods and Gassers. Great show just like you said. ❤️💯👍👊
This show derived from Ventura Primer Nationals that used to be mostly patina, hood rides and rat rods. I remember the "No Billet Wheels" disclaimer on the posters as recent as may be 10 years ago.
I brother bought a new GTO (same body style as the Tempest) when he came back from Vietnam. (All the guys did) After seeing the combat they saw they earned it.. I also like the Chevy. Dad had one like it
Great video, thanks for sharing! I’m curious (and sorry if this is a silly question), are fuzzy dice at all a thing still or were they ever in SoCal car culture? Seem them before but didn’t notice any in the cars in the video. Thanks!
Have you guys considered visiting other car shows outside of CA? There's one coming up near Vegas called Henderson Hot Rod Days in Henderson, NV. If you're in SoCal, that trip shouldn't take too long. Just thought I'd mention it, if you're interested in venturing out. Oh, and it's FREE to attend.
You might enjoy following along as I get my late father's wagon back to daily driver condition. Consider subscribing. ruclips.net/video/9jJxV_qSNmg/видео.html
Sorry sweetie, but Duke is not a Hamdyman wagon. Handymsn wagons are 2 doors.. 150"s have no trim above and below side windows, 210"s have the chrome above and below side windows (easy way to tell)
@GnarlySpeedShop Us Handyman owners have to deal with being called Nomads, so we get a little touchy. LOL! But we love the 4 doors too! Love all your cars and content!
To me there is nothing cooler than a lowered '59 Chevy. What does "Ventura Nationals" mean? So it's open to all of the nation? Do people drive in from like Nebraska or something?
I'm always amazed at how many people are stuffing their faces with food at these car shows! CMon you can't go a few hours without stuffing yourself!! lol
Pity about that Safari. I mean, I'm 100% cool with heavy patina, but at least plug the craters with Silly Putty, if nothing else. And especially so if the ride is as rare as a '55 Safari coupe-wagon. There's a fine line separating "cool" form "trailer trashy;" thanks to the craters, the Safari has unfortunately crossed said line, IMHO. And I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out that the wagon also sports the ultra-rare Fred Flintstone floor pans!!!🥸
Worst Trends to happen to car culture... Clearcoat over patina..just paint it.makes me think the owner is too lazy or broke to finish the car Black wheels on everything ...I was hoping this fad was gonna be over 10 years ago Modern power plants in old classics... yeah, I'm talking LS Ridiculous rims with rubber band tires Just to name a few
The fad is here to stay because not everyone can afford an extra $10 to $30k for paint ,rims and original engines. These cars are driven as they should be.

Great job showcasing some classics! Keep it up!
Yeah I loved that 69 impala ❤❤❤
Great looking cars y'all have...love them!! I have a 56 ht, a 56 handyman wagon, a 66 SS Chevelle and a 37 chevy...I love them too!!
I'm here in Australia, We love all these older vintage cars, Absolute stunning
The Low rider guys can lay down the most amazing custom paint....just incredible
I have such an appreciation for lowriders. They build art -Olivia

Thank you kindly

As someone who saved many old cars, patina is earned.
Great pic girl that's one of my favorites too I'm wagon boy ok later crew❤ thanks for the ride to my old stomping ground
That's a lot of bad assery in 1 place at once!
Some awesome cars!
Thanks for the footage that was amazing
I like your videos amazing cars the best car shows 😂

That was awesome, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome cars! Looks like a really cool show!

With these old cars with the original paint reminds me of Cuba's classic cars that are still on the road. I can't stand low riders.
Heartbreaking to see those classic cars turned into low riders
now thats a real car show drive in and out

I liked the pair of pampered doggies.Their cars looked nicer than my daily driver.
Love the amber element in that blue Pontiac👌
Can we please get a detailed walk around video of the Wagon I’m building a 56 and it would be a motivator
There's an old video on the channel where we wash the wagon. Check it out for a walkaround
BTW, I grew up with a lot of those cars and you are stunning. No disrespect intended.
Nice 55 Star Chief mine's turquoise and white with a 389 with trips
I wanted to go but I had to work.
I saw a video on RUclips yesterday that showed all three of your cars.
Oh sweet! Could you send the link?

Hey just curious to know if you all ever go to the races at the fairgrounds there in the back there?
Yep!
@@GnarlySpeedShop what was your favorite class of cars?
👍👍
Dang that C10 looks like Jessica's truck Longmeyer from Vice Grip Garage!
Hey it’s the love machine
I luv the wagon

how could you not show the HOP UP building? some of the best cars of the show were in there.
Unfortunately the music playing in there was really loud and it the video would've been flagged with copyright. Downside to filming car events...
Be careful with the copyright music! Yt shut one of my car meet vids down cause of a live band playing generic music
Damn. I hate that they do that. We just want to watch car show coverage!
Your Poncho needs a name. Penelope Pontiac
will the 56 do a burnout?
It will but the rear end will probably blow up before the smoke starts lol
Go to Pomona, Ca. re think the title of the pod cast (Best show?)
If you're referring to the swap meet, I don't really consider it a car show since it's mostly for buyers/sellers
Nothing destroys a car show worse then all the cars slammed on the ground .
I AGREE.
I'm always amazed at how many people are stuffing their faces with food at these car shows! CMon you can't go a few hours without stuffing yourself!! lol
Where has Andrew been?
You left Grease at home? ☹️
Lotta cars.
Do you get recognized and chatted up?
We met 3 subscribers which was cool!
