I can think of one scenario where this camper works. If you are going down really rough trails where a regular camper won't fit or would get shaken apart, and once you get there you're planning to stay at least a week, AND you go to multiple places like that, not your own property where you could build a cabin instead. In that one scenario this would work for a person who doesn't like putting up with minimalist camping for a week at a time.
I love this concept! A+ for creative solutioneering. It reminds me of the videos of creative multiuse artists make of their Manhattan apartments, where they need to be studio, bedroom, and kitchen/living area, but can't be all three at the same time. The modularity and folding away of an entire home. It left me with a couple of "why" questions, though; and the tent poles burst my enthusiasm. The poles look just like three housekeeping failures I've experienced: the meh shower pole with 4 shelves, that I've forced to persevere and now only has two shelves and is very flimsy; the ironing board/laundry bags (3) combo that mostly works but falls apart frequently, and the canvas shelf unit that was an embarrassing waste of money on mostly nonrecyclable materials. Perhaps it requires seeing and feeling them in-person to ascertain the quality of your components Now for the whys. It seems odd that the pull-out tray adjacent to the cooktop uses the same airspace. It also seemed strange that fold-outs by the fridge were facing the opposite direction from the cooking area, while the fridge was in between. I would like to see that configuration tweaked, somehow, to one person could access all the prep area at once, with priority over direct access between stove and fridge-which is nice, but awkward in this layout. Could the fridge move to where the pull out tray is? Perhaps embed the stove where the fridge is now, and allow it to swivel so as to use it in the same position it was here. It seems the stove slide-out could be embedded in that larger slide-out, rotate 90° within the larger tray, then pull out perpendicularly either alongside the camper or extending it, choice upon use. That would certainly help with potential air/smoke circulation.
Imagine disassembling this thing on a rainy day, then having to do through the whole assembly process at home just to dry everything out! I'll stick with my cheapo entry level camper where I back in. Level it up, plug it in hook up the water line and open the slide. Done!
Very clever use of space, no doubt. But as a van camper that only needs to build my bed at night i can say for sure that this thing is highly impractical. I cannot imagine getting to the camp site too late, almost dark, maybe raining, ground unlevel, tired, and having to set this all up. I would end up just sleeping in the car...
Cool concept..imagine setting up during a flash rain 🌧️ storm . Or forgetting to lock a latch driving down road. Too many seams ~~> water’s favorite resting spot
The setup doesn't look too bad to me. What I don't like is all the plastic fittings holding it together. That's a nogo for me. After a while, it will turn brittle and start breaking.
Interesting compact design for those who don’t have enough space for a full size caravan to sit on their home property. It would be a pain if one has to bug out from their camp site in an emergency. Are seals made from a common profile in case we need to replace them due to damage from field use or age? Seems like every company has custom made profiles and keeps them secret if the fail and go out of business. Same goes for residential refrigerators and freezers for the home. Proprietary seals that send perfectly good appliances to the dump. The solar panel needs more adjustment points for better power output. Many times you cannot park a camper for optimum solar production.

What’s “Extreme” is how cumbersome and time consuming this thing is for what limited capabilities and amenities that it provides. Many teardrop campers are similarly appointed. Who is the target market for this ridiculously complicated camper?
I can see that there is a part 2 to this set-up as it takes so long. There is a lot of ingenuity in the design of this contraption but I think that a lot of it could have been simplified. Starting with a rethink of the kitchen slide out. It started off reasonably well, but towards the end, there were far too many opening and closing of things that I am absolutely clueless as to what they did.

Hmmm, I bring a couple of ice chests, a pillow, put a sleeping bag in the back seat of my truck and I'm good for the weekend. I used to unload the horse, sweep out the trailer and make camp back there but it was too much trouble. Had to put down the indoor/outdoor carpet, drag a couple of mattress pads out of the back seat of the truck, move the coolers back there, etc. Then the worst part was putting everything back away to drive home after 2 full days of trail riding. 😉
I bought a reliable used Cargo Van...outfitted with bed memory foam mattress,50quart 12volt/110volt freezer/refrigerator, 340 watts of Solar... A Solar Generator,Gas Inverter Generator, folding 5foot lightweight table, got 2 cheap like new cole camp stoves 1 propane 1 white gas or pump gas only caveat with pump gas requires occasional cleaning of the components. Have a catalytic heater & Mr Buddy plus a Little Buddy heater.. -30 sleeping bag pillows extra covers & blankets. Cookware utensils Etc. 5gallon Water jug, got good set of sockets basic tire repair kit air compressor, good hydraulic Jack and commonly used hand tools.. power inverter myriad of lights, several flashlights, gas can etc. Canned goods and non perishables.. 6x6 Canopy and other things. It all stores neatly in home Depot storage containers and under bed. Solar panels are secured and stored on top of mattress.... I had a family member that stopped camping gave me some things... Most everything else was easily found second hand at yard sales thrift stores or Facebook market place Craigslist.. I can use this van as extra vehicle if needed. Having stated all that I got under $4,000 in Everything vehicle included!! Bought the van in Fall of 2019 it was a Carpent Installer's Company Van that had been meticulously maintained for $1,000 with 150K Miles ... its a 1 ton V8 4 speed Automatic no frills work van and the 4 years I've owned it I've only put 2 hundred dollars in repairs.. it's mechanically sound and very dependable. Tires are still good... Exhaust and brakes are still perfect... Start idols and runs like brand new... The best part if I ever have to get another Van everything can be easily moved to other van... Don't have to worry about leaks and very safe inside when sleeping.. it has excellent ground clearance and with a heavy duty frame and suspension with aggressive tread on rear tires it allows accessing places that towing a camper would be near impossible... The Badger is very expensive for something you have to tow and you're still sleeping in a tent... As things start to wear out it would be very expensive to fix and maintain... Unless you have money to burn it seems very very impractical.
To all the critics, she still did it in 5:21 No other camper that is this light weight, durability when folded and still have the same facilities including an ensuite. An elderly friendly bed space and no high ladder to go up or fall from. PS: This is full deployment and show of features which you will not do at every setup. What a ridiculous amount of faffing around required to set that thing up. Would someone own a vehicle like this just to make an impression on their neighbours in a caravan park, perhap? Whoever designed this piece of nonsense has obviously never camped, and particularly, never set up camp in the rain. Sheesh, get a teardrop instead, folks. No setting up at all.
Extreme setup is right. What a lot of work!! What if it's raining, a real downpour, when you arrive or when it's time to pack up! I think this contraption is ridiculous.
I was thinking at each opening "is this the toilet?", "is this the toilet?","is this the toilet?". Then the sink, and a TOILET! and a bed next to the toilet, yay!
No thank you, ma'am ! Gimme a class C any day where everything works when you need it ; bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and dinette. No folding up and putting together, just park and enjoy right away and the same when leaving; just start and go !
Whole lot of craftsmanship. I build a campervan using a Peugeot Boxer 2.2 H1L1 and kept is simple. In and out in 10 minutes including the bicycle rack on de back. If you stay for 1 or 2 weeks this seems oké to me. This might be very expensive as well I guess. But great craftsmanship, that’s a fact.
I like the outside shape, but then it keeps getting pulled apart at which point, it's as much hassle as a tent. Can you even use it without pulling the trailer apart for a one night stop?
Then you have to set it up again at home to dry it out or you'll get mold and mildew from the rain or just condensation unless you only pack up to leave after its completely dry. No thanks, its like a big complicated tent.
Australia has all cool trailers. You should really do a video that breaks down the actual time to set up and emphasize the time just for sleeping accommodation. Pull in late at night, or just pull off the trail for the night. How long and how much work will it take to just get to bed. The rest doesn’t actually look as bad as all the divas make it sound.
This is one of those......."just because you can doesn't mean you should" things. Neat concepts. Well thought out and quite visionary, but as a total package? I'll keep camping simple. There's nothing on my off road teardrop I can't fix or worry about breaking in the middle of a trip.

Only for longer stays in campgrounds or very remote areas. And for warm climate. Please don't even dream of an emergency escape.
Basically made a tent trailer that's hard as hell to assemble😂😂😂😂
Ridiculous amount of work to set it up. Have to have the owners manual on hand at all times.
To all the critics, she still did it in 5:21
No other camper that is this light weight, durability when folded and still have the same facilities including an ensuite.
An elderly friendly bed space and no high ladder to go up or fall from.
PS: This is full deployment and show of features which you will not do at every setup. Any normal person can likely set this up in less time than 5:21
These were edited clips of all the tasks. The actual set up was much longer than this video.
Fascinating! But… where are these made, where can we buy one or see a website of options available or different models?
That looks infinity breakable
Very clever but what do you do when it's raining. Guess the local take away would get lot if business if you had one of these.
After the 5th or so pullout I'd be looking around for the Candid Camera crew thinking I'm surely being pranked...lol..lol..😂
I was thinking at each opening "is this the toilet?", "is this the toilet?","is this the toilet?". Then the sink, and a TOILET! and a bed next to the toilet, yay!
🤣@@Skyfire-x
No thank you, ma'am ! Gimme a class C any day where everything works when you need it ; bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and dinette. No folding up and putting together, just park and enjoy right away and the same when leaving; just start and go !
Not enough moving parts!
Too much work, with so much that can go wrong !
I like the outside shape, but then it keeps getting pulled apart at which point, it's as much hassle as a tent. Can you even use it without pulling the trailer apart for a one night stop?
Looks like a extreme pain in the ass!😂
Love it not complicated at all took you 5 mins. Created minds. I didn’t storage much
What a cool and clever setup. I have never seen anything like this before. It's amazing. Thank you for sharing this video and you have a great day.
Swiss Army Badger! GEEEEZ!!!!
Then you have to set it up again at home to dry it out or you'll get mold and mildew from the rain or just condensation unless you only pack up to leave after its completely dry. No thanks, its like a big complicated tent.
One bumpy road, and none of this functions.
what an original build .. Respect for the one who designed it .
This Camper Has Way To Much Crap On It. Way Over Kill. For Someone To Throw Money Out The Window Or Use As Tax Write Off🤑!
Way too much set up, cool rig but insanely complicated.
There's nothing like checking int a nice hotel at the end of a busy day and checking out again in the morning.
This is one of those......."just because you can doesn't mean you should" things. Neat concepts. Well thought out and quite visionary, but as a total package?
I'll keep camping simple. There's nothing on my off road teardrop I can't fix or worry about breaking in the middle of a trip.
Who the heck wants to camp inside a puzzle?
Why all the hate people. I think this is a great use of space and really ingenious.
She just about got knocked off the platform by the rear hatch.
Awesome... love the innovation. would love to see the specs and this brought to the usa
Yeah, this will end up being an unfinished set of Legos.
That’s great for out door use, but what if it rains for the week?
That is way too complicated and way too hard to remember all of the steps.
This is the jackknife of all trailers. But by the time you get everything set up, the weekend would be over.
如此大量的改裝以及功能不得不佩服 但是對我個人而言使用起來有夠麻煩😅
What do you do when you get to campsite and it is pouring rain?
Whew ... no way!
Bateu todos os anteriores. Muito show!! Falta so exportar pro Brasil
