- AKAI MPC2.13.0 Software FULL WORKFLOW Part 1. Learn how to get started with how to load a template, a project, or recent project and understand how each one works. You'll learn about all the browsers, the Media Browser, the Expansion Browser, and the File browser where you can set up folders that have for samples on your hard drive from others like Maschine, Logic Studio Pro, etc. Setting up kits from expansions an other folders you may have on you computer and save them. Learn all about the Grid and it's tools, it's automation lanes, tracks and samples, understand the sample pool. It's so important to understand how the Q-Link works an all it's features.
You will learn how to adjust your window view for building a kit or just removing the browser from view and the MIDI and Audio from the left to just see what you're working on only. Understand sampling and chopping up samples, and looping them, learn what InMusic software center can do to help you. Know how preferences can help with syncing to other Daws and devices. A lot is here in Part 1 with more to come.

This is by far one of the best tutorials for the MPC 2 Software out there. Kudos to SampleKings for sharing this workflow and way of doing things with the MPC 2 software. What I love about this video is that it focuses on how to use the software regardless of what controller you are using which is great. I have not finished this video yet but I am sure SampleKings probably covers the controller side of things later on in the video. All-in-all, this is a great video to watch and study for anyone wanting to learn the MPC 2 software well. My Dude goes over everything! I mean everything. Thank you SampleKings for sharing this knowledge with us all.

Just a heads up, if you double tap the stop button it will stop the playback of the sample or even the preview of sounds from the expansions browser. That way your not forced to listen to the whole sample if it’s long. ✌🏾

Great video, not managed to watch it all yet. I use to MPC X in standalone mode but thought I should use in correspondence with the software. The only issue I'm having is what to set my preferences to? I've got it set to ASIO , also device and input to MPC X ASIO. Should I select everything on audio input and output? what should I set the sample rate and audio buffer to?

Hey Doc, thanks for this Video. Im trying to find out how to set X-Fades in linear and dynamic mode. I found the option in Sample Edit Mode (you mentioned it very quickly at 1:59:00). I cannot adjust the number in the x-fade section ..all I can do is choose between linear and dynamic. Could you please highlight this particular tool more in detail? That would be dope! Does anyone know how to adjust pad threshold and sensitivity in MPC Beats?
I was curious about how to open up a mouse pointer magnifier like what do you have. Set full screen magnifier frustrates me if you can, can you send me the app to where I can download it, because I really do need that Mouse pointer magnifier, not the full screen

How d you get rid of unused tracks to clean up a project
I just delete tracks in the midi section under tracks on the left of the software.
I some how deleted all my lops n samples??
