- They work well with Strats, Les Pauls, and just about every guitar. So what is going to happen to Marshall Amps now that they've been sold?

I really hope so for Marshall. There is many people play Marshall and hope it does not fall down to crap but get even get better more amps to see like a good tube amp!
Hell yeah! I’m really hoping they put out something fresh & exciting yet is undeniably Marshall.
One can only wait and see what Zound does.
Indeed.
PRE-CBS wut?
lol
Zound owns Adidas, so they are capable of directing a successful large company.
In fact, I'd rather have a smaller Co take over a larger, rather than the other was around (see also Samsung/Harman and DOD/Digitech)
(thank goodness Cortek has revived DOD/Digi, after HarmSung drove it, pilotless, into the ground.)
I once worked for a small company that got bought out by a Swedish company.
They just wanted us for the technology, and at least, they were able to invest enough to get the idea off the ground and saving lives.
the idea = the first AED
I think the Marshall line will do just fine with the Swedes at the helm... just a gut-guess. But to me, it looks like ZoundIndustries is not large enough to survive an implosion at Marshall... hey, maybe they can produce amps with the wireless send/rcv built in to the amp? Maybe wireless sends to the FOH from the amp, too? (need a builtin IR for the cab, but that is not rocket science) I can see lots of cool potential for this venture.
BTW, yes folks, it is possible to deal with noise AND keep the signal integrity of your 'small analog signals' ... in that first AED, we were able to do it with TL084s, god PCB layout, some shielding in the right places, and immaculate ground construction/maintenance.
You might even end up with a better sounding amp.
I cannot say what I want to say-but you can call me.
