I have 3060 ti and I've manage to install this mod to Hogwarts legacy, cyperpunk, Alan wake 2, Ratchet and clank, The talos principle 2, The witcher 3.... And so on. It's perfect, just needs more patches to come!
Yeah, well, there were no patches for 6 month. And UI is totally broken in FS and Witcher 3, I can somehow with rare patches have a handful f games that work pretty well, RDR2, Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2. It's such a shame that this isn't a thing already for everyone. But corporate greed will just kill this like everything else. Almost no one even knows that this is a thing at all, the main mod is very badly explained and no one says what dll does what, or why are they named as they are, etc for people discovering this.
The dev mode FPS counter won't show a difference due to the way the frames are rendered. My Nvidia overlay shows the difference and I can tell its smoother at big airports
Thanks for the upload, MSI afterburner is displaying the correct fps simply because the generated frames are taken into consideration. This mod with the holy grail graphic settings has completely reformed my flight sim experience
Frame generation requires a few steps to set things up correctly: 1) Ensure Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is enabled in Windows Settings. 2) Install this mod in your game directory. 4) Make sure you run the game on Dx12 3) Launch your game and disable vertical sync (V-Sync) in the settings menu. Then toggle frame generation. This will result in screen tearing. To restore vertical sync and keep frame generation working properly, open Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to "Manage 3D settings", and enable "Vertical sync" for your specific game.
It does not work with my RTX 3070. Extremely low FPS and stuttering with DX12 and LOD 150-200. I have VSYNC off in the sim and VSYNC on in NCP 3D settings, but the tearing is also still there...
works with min, now i can put all in ultra, level of detal betwen 300 and 350, and its a massive increase, some time, the loading at the begginnig is stuttering, but after take ok it desaperars @@12345Flipside
I used the "universal" version. But it breaks the UI so much that it's unplayable (can't stand it), plus there are very visible ghosting problems... I really hope they can somehow address this, IDK if it's even possible.
@@Vtrontv I found it to be vsync issue. Thanks. It usually limit my frames to 30fps but changed it to 60fps and its much smoother with the mod. More than enough for my 3070.
I have the RTX 3080 laptop version which head-on-head with the 3070Ti in some cases. I have doubled my FPS after using this mod and the difference is quite noticeable. I recommend that you check your installation again or try using the newer 0.70 (as of today) version. I get 130+ FPS in some cases for msfs. What refresh rate is your display because not noticing the difference between 30 and 60 fps in your case doesn't seem plausible.
Well thats what Frame Gen is. They are fake frames that make your games Smoother but the fps will still show the same in msfs but msi will show Higher, like in the Video! Its the same thing even in 4000 series cards!

This mod broke all my other games on steam lmao had to clean reinstall my graphics drivers to get stuff working normally. The nvidia restore check file isn't working properly perhaps idk
I have windows store version, the folder with my .exe has no space in it for me to move the folders into it. Do you have any recommendation on what to do? I dont want to delete anything vital and idk how to make more space.
If it is installed in C drive, you can clear the windows cache or delete something on your desktop of downloads.. mod is hardly 50mb or so. No need to delete much.
Ok, Its weird, I have 56gb left on my C drive however its like the specific MSFS folder itself that wont accept any more space even for a file that small. Im not sure if it makes any sense.@@Vtrontv

@Vtrontv thanks for the reply but I've finally fixed the notepad issue but it still isn't working! I've tried everything, I've done exactly what everyone has been doing and it's still doesn't work! I still get 10-30fps on average

Which GPU are you using?
Can confirm this. My Steam overlay showed difference from around 50 - 60 FPS to around 90 FPS. RTX3070Ti

@@12345Flipside Because you likely don't have enough vram. Sadly DX12 does not work well with 8GB cards and frame gen does require more VRAM.

Yea, didn't work well with my RTX 3070. A lot of screen tearing. So, I uninstalled this correctly and the tearing is still there. Any ideas?
Are you using any frame limiter? if you use, use Nvidia control panel limiters and try to match the refresh rate of your monitor.

Its better on the 40series. You actually feel the difference without the added latency as long base base fps is 60 and above

As of now no. try enabling Vsync in Nvidia panel as suggested by some simmers.
