Yeah but these mods don't often work great in every game, sometimes there's UI issues or performance issues, crashes etc. I think developers of a game have a lot more responsibilities as far as making sure it runs well and looks good than a modder. I know the Starfield FG mod I tried when it came out resulted in tons of crashes until it was made better and better over time.

@@superpandabacon nah people who hated on it were talking about how poor the quality of the inserted frames were and how much input lag it supposedly had.
I said this before on another vid about frame gen and the comments were funny, basically a bunch of copium and bs. Welcome to the gaming community... more specifically the PC gaming community. Nvidia does it? Bad... AMD does it? Good or its fine. Want another example of this? The entire 7000 series line up performance being a lie including pulling an Nvidia and naming products stacks higher to sell them at a higher price... No one cares about the 7900xtx at 1000 but hates Nvidia for a 4080 super at the same, when they are literally in spitting distance of FPS and Nvidia does RT better and has a more supported feature set. Most people who hated on frame gen were salty they couldnt use it, they never used it so they had no idea how it actually felt, but they would convince themselves it was bad. Personally never understood this whole Nvidia bad AMD good thing tbh, both are just as bad as each other as they are both causing high pricing and upselling products.
@@lilpain1997 yeah, reason i mention it is because vex was one of the biggest doubters when it was nvidia only, but he really I just an AMD fan at this point lol
I dislike like how Nvidia tried to use it to claim up to a 4x performance increase on the 40 series vs 30 series. They used frame gen as a reason to buy the 40 series. An then AMD comes along and makes it free for everyone. I was never promised this feature on my 3 year old RX 6000 GPU but I got it, which means its a nice bonus, but i never accepted it as something worth paying extra over real performance increases, which are far superior than frame gen which is far from perfect.
I got this mod and honestly not worth it i feel like there is still a long way to go with Frame generation i ran this on my 3060 and yes it did give me more "fps" but the input lag was unbearable not really worth it in my opinion
I didn’t notice input lag at all but I was playing on a controller for Jedi survivor but it was so great I tried for Spiderman miles morales and Jedi survivor
God bless the good people in the modding and open source scene and at AMD and all enthusiasts that help push new technology. 👍 Against the proprietary corporate greed and shackles of "copyright" and other such cancerous practices.
Probably too old since the FSR3 algorithm takes some GPU power to run. Last time I saw a video and a 1060 was the bare minimum to have a decent uplift.
GPUs and games before RT were better. Its just stupid that GPU for 500$ cant run game smooth without using DLSS or FSR. WE SHOULDNT EVEN USE IT. Frame generation is even more destroying quality of game. Yee u have more FPS but why with more expensive GPU with every generation we dont have any improvment? Only more power eating and some tricks? Its disgusting.
My experience in WZ2, normal fps with FSR FG OFF = 45 FPS, with FSR FG ON = 80, but it feels like 20, It feels and look way worse, it's a scam, if you have enough FPS for it to work smoother you don't need it, and when you actually need it because you have low FPS then it's useless.
I have rx 5700 (non XT) and get a 3060 (non TI) same 8GB VRAM and surprisingly got barely SAME fps and take a risk to say the 5700 is slightly better, I’m pretty confusing till now about it, I was hoping that NVIDIA 3060 is far better, I mean, at least 20/25% better, it’s a joke! (No upgrade anymore, rx 5700 is solid)
These DLSS and FSR mods people are doing just go to show how fucking lazy game devs have become. If one dude in his basement with a box of scraps can do it these multi dollar companies can do it and do it better. Yet they choose not to.
sorry but FSR3 is nothing you would want in your game... the input lag is not the problem, its the graphics especially in motion... it looks like 360 graphics while stuff moves its ugly even at 4k
At least in Cybperunk with the unofficial support, I couldn't tell honestly. Input lag wasn't much worse than with DLSS and path tracing enabled, but there was a lot of motion ghosting. A product of not being officially supported I'd wager, and there's a mod on the 2077 nexus that claims to remove most of this ghosting and it works pretty well. For native FSR 3 games I've heard nothing but good things.
Whats the point if if doesnt feel smooth, tryd it with fev games, in some games there was imput delay too much aga some games just didnt feel smooth at all, like snowrunner, I might have 150 fps but so many lag drops.
I use FSR3+FG in Warzone 3 and there is no noticeable input delay. FPS went from roughly 100fps to over 200fps uncapped(I cap at 165 though cause that's my monitors max) it's incredible. So I assume it's the AFMF aspect that does this cause when actually implemented in game itself as FG it doesn't have the lag problem.
i'm really pissed off. We have to pay a random guy in private to enable this on any games, but then is not even really on all games. seriously AMD... wtf
I want to try this on my old laptop on Phasmophobia (DX11) with FSR 1.0 (laptop has Intel HD Bay Trail and Celeron N2930 ,its gonna be interesting if it works prob gonna make a vid on my channel)
"allows you to use any brand of GPU- Nvidia, AMD, Intel- in almost any game that already supports DLSS (just upscaling), but works best with the ones that have DLSS 3 Frame Gen already" If this was in the Title it couldn´t be as click-baity, am I right? *ANY GAME* my Foot!
If you have over 60 fps anyway, it doesn't make any sense. For competitive players added input lag is pretty big. For others... I really don't know. Tried it in Cyberpunk to get stable 60FPS at 1440p path tracing enabled (3080/12). Deleted the mod 10 minutes after. Better 45-60 fps than this horrible input lag.
Hey. Im pretty new to modding (actually this is my first time doing it) Hope someone can help me answer this question - I have rtx 3070 Ti and want to use frame gen in CyberPunk2077. My question is - Is there any difference for me as Nvidia gpu owner between mod from nexus - dlssg-to-fsr3 (Replace Nvidia DLSS-G Frame Gen with AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen) nvngx_dlssg from Nukems mod. and this mod described in this video - like the paid one from Luke FZ. Like if there will be noticeable difference I can go and pay for patreon to get better results but if the free mod from nexus work as good as the paid one I will use the free mod. Thanks to everyone whored the comment and can help me to get answers. As I said - this whole thing is for me sth like wnating 3 y old kid to understand quantum physics. Thx for any reply.
Tell us about the thing that turns the tables in the professional sphere "ZLUDA lets you run unmodified CUDA applications with near-native performance on Intel AMD GPUs."
Wooo vex just found out finally . Now lets make marketing for amd ffs. Cause they don't have "modders" that can implement a better version of fsr injection. No man. Random unpayed modders have to donit. I mean not unpayed cause u pay patreon. But can't amd do that included ? No huh? They can't tske responsabilty for inconsistent implementations like lukefz does right ?
Modern gamers are blind and not very clever. TVs can do upsampling and frame gen for years with any source. Has exactly the same downsides, high latency and shitty image quality. But people nowadays are so blind the dont even see difference between real 4k and FSR, so go on, pay for stupid features instead of new glasses 😂
It's a little disappointing the modder effectively is charging money - a monthly description - for open source software. Yeah I know it's pateron. I assume he's posted up the source code so anyone could replicate it, but most can't.
well the bad news when microsoft and amd and nvidia work a better way to streamlined out the mess made by amd and nvidia have so many hooks by game devs for all 3 tech source code ...dlssg. xess, and amd ones is what confusing for game devs now with nightingale..amd exclusive that devs decide what best for their team they unable input fsr3 at all due to source code complication that input separated from fsr2 and fsr3 became problem with dlss dll and intel xess utilize different methods on their hardware except amd does not have any ai cores to use for fsr3 when code need image vectors from hardware ai cores from amd rdna3 that driver have no data for it for game devs to use for on is part complicated for their game when nvidia tensor cores is in driver data for vector data to get opticalflow working for ai do imaging vectoring than generically by template from fsr3 that not work every game when game engine does different from others . This is where microsoft introduce DirectSR and universal plugin for all tech for game devs to use on their code. This will leave linux and steam deck users in a limbo for microsoft introducing directsr that made by all 3 tech companies put together...AMD is force to sacrifice its support on linux software due to issues that not support any linux scaling methods they use
Thanks I did this with my 3080 with Cyberpunk. With high settings I was getting 75fps now I get 130fps. But with everything on max, Ray tracing set to psycho, path tracing, path reconstruction everything maxed out… 65fps. It’s unbelievable. There’s some artefacting and some ghosting etc but to be honest it doesn’t bother me at all, just to be able to play such a beautiful game with the best possible visuals on a card I paid £340 for is absolutely winning. With this mod I can see the 3080 lasting me for a long time I really can
looking forward to how this evolves. if this is the beginning, then we're in for such a damn treat. I think people are overlooking how much longevity this is going to add to gpus. Such a huuuge win for us and our bank accounts
Or it could be that game devs no longer give any effort towards optimizing their games due to widespread use of FG tech, thereby, nullifying the performance benefits of FG tech in the first place. Expect "system requirements" to sky-rocket even more in the near future.

The game is not stable..something amd left out important tiny part in every game...its need to be stable as well than running at 60fps to 75fps without dropping fps..and ghostwire is all over place in fps
Weird that DX11 and Vulkan aren't supported, I don't see why they couldn't.
Even my Intel hd 4400 will work?
When a single modder can integrate FSR3 quicker than multi million dollar game publishers, though Starfield already released FSR3 update recently, others really took their sweet time 😂
Yeah but these mods don't often work great in every game, sometimes there's UI issues or performance issues, crashes etc. I think developers of a game have a lot more responsibilities as far as making sure it runs well and looks good than a modder.
I know the Starfield FG mod I tried when it came out resulted in tons of crashes until it was made better and better over time.
@@TerraWare Yeah it still have a long way to go, i tried in Warhammer 40K: Darktide the UI was bugged and everything worked fine until my game crash at a moment then i can't start the game anymore, even after re-installation and changing back DLSS on in the config file to off. Also it worked great in a plague tale requiem (with still some UI bug on the text) but damn i tried to update the mod by removing all mod files and then put the new one but my game don't work anymore. So in the end i removed my patreon subscribtion and unistalled every game broken (waste of time).
Cyberpunk after 3-4 patches still not implements fsr 3 lol

PSA: Don't do this for multiplayer steam games, unless you want to risk getting a VAC ban.
Considering the amount of latency it will produce....I don't think anyone would use this for multiplayer games
Just bans, barely any games use Valve VAC servers these days.
What about helldivers? That game runs like crap on my rx6600
Don't worry if you've played CS2 you'll know that Valve Allows Cheats

you gotta cover lossless scaling's frame generation, you can run it on top of games that are already using their own method of frame generation as well as games that don't even natively support frame generation, it's so sick
I tried using that with yuzu, rpcs3 and retroarch and couldn't get it to work at all lol. I might be dumb though. I tried disabling g sync to see if that helped, didn't do much
@@M_CFV Is it in windowed or windowed fullscreen?

If it's Patreonish, then it's kinda scamish.
FSR3 Frame Gen, either officially, from LukeFz or Nukem:
It currently only works in DX12. No DX11, no Vulkan
For Unreal 4/5 games, you can add -dx12 as a launch command to launch them in DX12 and the mods will work.
I remember when everyone hated on frame generation.
Yea cause it was only for nvidia 40 series.
Now it’s “free” to be used on any gpu.
I didn’t notice input lag at all but I was playing on a controller for Jedi survivor but it was so great
I tried for Spiderman miles morales and Jedi survivor
God bless the good people in the modding and open source scene and at AMD and all enthusiasts that help push new technology. 👍
Against the proprietary corporate greed and shackles of "copyright" and other such cancerous practices.
Does this mean my old laptop with 920MX Nvidia Mobile Graphics has hope or is it too old?
Probably too old since the FSR3 algorithm takes some GPU power to run. Last time I saw a video and a 1060 was the bare minimum to have a decent uplift.
@@ludwigrevolution3288970? I have the overclocked Asus card and can do some extra very easily to 1060 levles
That is definitely annoying about FG unless you’re need sweet spot of 50-60 frames but yea people below that could really benefit from this the most.
you're wise to test fps in Dogtown that place burned my gpu 😂
I have rx 5700 (non XT) and get a 3060 (non TI) same 8GB VRAM and surprisingly got barely SAME fps and take a risk to say the 5700 is slightly better, I’m pretty confusing till now about it, I was hoping that NVIDIA 3060 is far better, I mean, at least 20/25% better, it’s a joke! (No upgrade anymore, rx 5700 is solid)
It's no up to the rtx 3060 but on the rest of your setup and how parts work together (motherboard, processor, memory and storage).
are you sure this for "any" games? stop the cap bruh
These DLSS and FSR mods people are doing just go to show how fucking lazy game devs have become.
If one dude in his basement with a box of scraps can do it these multi dollar companies can do it and do it better. Yet they choose not to.
By the time we get FSR 4, devs will still be debating on updating or adding FSR 3 lmao. Can't believe there's still active games using FSR 1
dont say "any game"...its still pretty limited
sorry but FSR3 is nothing you would want in your game... the input lag is not the problem, its the graphics especially in motion... it looks like 360 graphics while stuff moves its ugly even at 4k
Isn't there a program named "Lossless Scaling" doing the same thing? I'm not sure about this i don't own the product myself.
No that app works more like AFMF, it doesn't have access to the motion data from the game so it can't produce nearly as good of a result
LSFG is better than AFMF but not as good as FSR 3
Doesn't use the DLSS pipeline though
Whats the point if if doesnt feel smooth, tryd it with fev games, in some games there was imput delay too much aga some games just didnt feel smooth at all, like snowrunner, I might have 150 fps but so many lag drops.
its a bug on new update .its smooth using the old driver. you must cap your fps . its will smooth asf
That’s sort of the drawback with frame gen of any sort it’s the same way with nvidia frame gen it just typically uses reflex to help with the latency
If your using any type of FG you have to turn on Anti Lag/Reflex to make it feel good
@@dsmxtuner95your base fps is already insanely high so your latency is of course great with FG on.
Does is work on any gpu? Like rx 580 8gb?
i'm really pissed off. We have to pay a random guy in private to enable this on any games, but then is not even really on all games. seriously AMD... wtf
I want to try this on my old laptop on Phasmophobia (DX11) with FSR 1.0 (laptop has Intel HD Bay Trail and Celeron N2930 ,its gonna be interesting if it works prob gonna make a vid on my channel)
the UI and screen border being its limitations are sacrifices im willing to take. heard input delay was fix by capping the fps?
BASED GOG USAGE!
dude, make a video to explain bout lossless scaling apps too, and benchmarking with fsr3 mod, witch one is better
"allows you to use any brand of GPU- Nvidia, AMD, Intel- in almost any game that already supports DLSS (just upscaling), but works best with the ones that have DLSS 3 Frame Gen already"
If this was in the Title it couldn´t be as click-baity, am I right?

"ZLUDA lets you run unmodified CUDA applications with near-native performance on Intel AMD GPUs."
The only game that need this is Flight Simulator 2020 , and it does not Work on a AMD GPU in VR so no point in this , YET !
As for Cyberpunk 2077, while this will grey out NVIDIA Reflex and VSync you can just re-enable it from the NVIDIA Control Panel.
lol, 7800x3d will never be "limiting factor" for anything, especially not for card like 7800xt, which is barely better than rx6800xt.
hey great video, can I have that generic FSR 2.2 , my parents wont give me that much money, thanks if possible or not possible.
I figured out Alan Wake 2 works only with version 0.9.0 of the mod (I have RX 7800 XT), with the newer versions I also have those visual bugs.
I want good optimize engine for last 3 generation gpu and not this fake fps
I'm pretty sure this only works for any AMD GPU that came out max 5 years ago so only like RX GPU
With this mod I can see the 3080 lasting me for a long time I really can
Nvidia fanboys will still find a way to be mad about this because it's from AMD. Even though they also benefit from it.
looking forward to how this evolves. if this is the beginning, then we're in for such a damn treat.
