Great recipe for every occasion, especially for a delicious healthy treat on special occasions. This has become my go-to. Dress it up with whipped cream and fresh raspberries and everyone will love it.
This week I tried making homemade Almond Milk…after separating the liquids and solids I couldn’t throw all the great pulp away …so I made this almond torta. It worked perfectly, and nothing got wasted! :) .

After watching the Food Network for the last fifteen years or so, the only dessert I ever baked was Ina's Outrageous Brownies (more than once, it's an expensive recipe with all the chocolate!) but I must confess I only started really baking cakes after I started watching Stephanie's videos. She explains the methods so easily and it always makes it feels effortlessly. I'm always getting compliments when I bake some of her cakes.

I made this Chocolate Almond Torte, with bitter sweet chocolate contains 56.8% cocoa solids, didn't add extra sugar and it turned out very good. It was fudgy moist like from inside,is that how its supposed to be. I wish I can attach a picture with my comment. Thank you Stephanie for all the yummy recipes.

Hello Stephanie... Love your videos.. I've made several of your cakes and they all came out great.... With one exception... This chocolate torte.. I thought I was following your instructions but I've made a mess.... The taste is lovely but the cake was more than moist, it wasn't cooked? I even put it back in oven for another 15mins... Still wet. Top is sooo good, bottom has a bit of a scrambled egg taste.. What did I do wrong? If you get a free moment, could you please let me know what you think I did wrong.... Appreciate all your advice.. Maura

It's even more easy to remove the bottom plate of your spring-form pan by inserting it upside down. Then whatever you bake slides right off with the parchment paper.

Sort of a bastardized version of the french classic reine de saba. I'm curious why you didn't bake it in a non spring form pan on a rack in a water bath. Chocolate or coffee liqueur and strong coffee add a great flavor to the chocolate whilst melting, and pure vanilla added to the eggs making whipped cream pull the flavors together. Imo.
