⚠️ Soooo this took me a while to upload on RUclips due to it being blocked many, many times. I re-edited the reaction around 10 or so times but every time I uploaded it, it would get blocked. Instead of re-editing every single time it got blocked, I chose to let RUclips trim the parts of the reaction that were being blocked so you will notice that the cuts and editing will be a little choppy throughout some of the scenes, my apologies! ⚠️
Fun. Witty. So unique. This movie felt like I was on a trip! The way that they would mesh different scenes together felt like I was in a dream state; it was so eccentric and random but it totally worked. I really enjoyed the cool use of comic/gaming visuals and sound effects.

Fun fact: in the book, it's the drummer that punches Knives, not Todd.
It's just fun that two of Ramona's exes were Superman and Captain America, and the Punisher took away the vegan powers, as Captain Marvel stood there and watched.

Soundtrack is banging
Michael Cera is actually really skilled at playing the bass guitar, and had to deliberately tone it down for the movie.
Not only that, but most other actors had to learn their instruments for this movie, Michael Cera was pretty much the only one who knew how to play.
If you wanna know why the fight scenes are so incredible, it's because they were choreographed by Jackie Chan's stunt team.
Also, Edgar Wrights trademark wideshot. He also likes coating the clothing of the actors in dust, which is especially noticeable in the Lucas Lee fight. They just give it that extra flair.
Great reaction. This movie is awesome and the soundtrack is incredible. I blast "we hate you please die" and "threshold" almost every day in my car.

Something I missed until it was pointed out to me is that, since Scott was such an ass throughout the movie, NegaScott was a "really nice guy."
And that is why Eve correctly ships Knives / NegaScott

Kieran Culkan is great in this also. He’s an interesting actor - Igby Goes Down was quite unusual.

One of my favorite movies, this is hilarious. Funny that captain America and Captain Marvel were in the same movie years earlier also pre dceu Superman
fun fact: the scene were the package was thrown into the trash can was filmed multiple times until it landed exactly in a perfect shot.
Music was composed and arranged by the one and only Beck. The Black Sheep Song, Envy's song, was actually an unreleased track and wouldbe throw away song that they gave to the movie. Also, Plumtree is an amazing girl garage band that inspired the creation of the comic book series. The song was unironically named, "Scott Pilgrim".

Just a little info about the "Ramona" - Song. The Original is actually from "Beck" and it´s quite a great song. Great reaction vid to an amazing movie.

It's really clever in it's execution.
I don't know if you've watched The Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End), but if you have (and if you haven't you should) you should check out the series SPACED where Edgar Wright broke through into the mainstream before those afformentioned films got the attention of Hollywood. A real gem of a sitcom centered around post-student living at the turn of the millennium, it's only 14 episodes so you can easily watch the whole thing in one, very lazy day.

All the songs were created by Beck and Nigel Godrich ( the producer and basically sixth band member of Radiohead). So that's why they are so good

Im from Toronto, some of the film locations you see in the film are real places in Toronto. Sadly over this past decade some of the buildings are gone or moved to a new location.

This movie, forrest gump, and the green mile are my favorite to sew people react to. It came out the day before my birthday. One of the best presents ever.

Michael Cera actually had to dumb down his guitar playing because Scott is supposed to be an average guitar player. This film was a commercial flop when it was released in 2010. Which is sad because this is one of Edgar Wright's most unique films in a very unique filmography. As stated it is based of the 6 part series(which was actually incomplete when the film waa in production). Also this film has an INCREDIBLY stacked cast.

BEST MOVIE! I live in Canada and they (the film people) pronounce "Toronto" properly, as in you only pronounce the first "T". If you wanna know how to pronounce it, it's "T'ronna".

There's an alternate ending where he ends up with Knives instead, which I think makes more sense, since they're both dorks who have great fight combos.
there are two different endings that were filmed. The test audiences didn't like the first ending, where scott gets back with knives & ramona goes on alone, so they re-shot it with this currenting ending.

I still think the original ending was better... Ramona leaves because she realizes she has a lot of baggage she has to work out and it's obvious to her (hinted in the fight scene with Gideon where they're completely in sync) that Scott and Knives are meant for each other.
Buuut... people didn't like that ending so, just like little shop of horrors, they went with a happier ending instead.
