Man, listening to y’all sure makes me grateful I haven’t had any issues with my F450. I’ve totally loved my truck to this point.
I got a 18 F250 lariat 6.7 with 267,500km and I've never seen a check engine light!
That guide on the back window is what keeps the sliding window from coming off. Mine completely fell off 2 months ago.
i have a f450 LIMITED 2022. had a 16 bed sleeper for hurricane victims in Florida.. ive never driven pass New Orleans.. let alone with a load.. the F450 pulled the 13,000 lb Bumper pull, as if NOTHING behind it.. the gas mileage was great and at 85 mph from Perry Florida took 9.5 hr to return to Houston Tx while on cruise control.. the cruise control with a trailer is DOPE also.. very nice machine..
Great vid! You guys are so luck to have many other Superduties driving around and talk about this stuff to help each other out. I´m in western Europe and with only 3, maybe 4 Superduties here there´s nobody to ask stuff about. They are just not imported here. Tnx for helping me out with many questions when I ordered my F250 Tremor 7.3 gasser last year!
This was a very cool video and comparison but I hate to see all the issues for you guys. I own a 2021 Ram 3500 HO but I really don’t have enough miles on it yet (5500 miles) to say go get a Ram. So far it’s been great on the limited miles I’ve driven and towed. You’ve been a Ford guy so I hope they really get you fixed and back on the road soon. Thanks for the video.
I feel fortunate with my '17 F350, but do admit, I've discovered various cosmetic flaws inside the cab. Great conversation/video comparing trucks and their use.

At this point I'm very sure my 2019 F450 is worth more on the open market than a brand new 2021! No issues with it. Lucky pre 2020 pre COVID truck owner here. I just put true Alcoas on it - decided to 'steer tire' the front and that with the centramatics makes it roll like a cadillac. So it better keep going that was a lot of $$$ into rolling gear. fyi: Trying out Cooper Work Series ASA (front) and ASD (rear). The ASA are QUIET and smooth - they make the front end feel lighter. The ASD are loud and aggressive. Basically to be expected. Not enough miles on the tires to endorse them yet.

The biggest concern is the issues that shouldn’t happen on the high end trims .
I think you guys are right if you pay for the top of the line truck you should get top of the line attention to detail.... it would protect the company's reputation and give the customer what they pay for....

I personally prefer the solid color over the two tone, to me the solid color is a lot more classy.

Knock on wood, my 2021 F350 Lariat, dually, 6.7 has been good. 16k on it already. My 2019 F350 dually diesel King Ranch was also good. No issues
Not knowing what happened to the 450 is killing me. But I love the two tone.
This is why my current truck is a f250 XL base model work truck 7.3 gasser though I've done some modifications and upgrades but I haven't had any issues it seems that you paid a lot of money for a bunch of headaches I love that two tone paint I wish I could of got that on my truck
Yep same got a 250XL base truck with the 7.3. ordered it Jan of 2020. How's your 10spd doing? Mine lurches into gear once in awhile. I think they have a fix for it out now

Hope all the nick pick items are resolved while you have it in the shop. Every Ford I have owned and worked on have their problems. Its a quirky brand to have to put up with. So far my own personal 2019 F350 Lariate has be with zero issues. I keep getting offers to trade up, to a newer model, but I am going to hold out. Maybe after the 2 year, next redesign. Hope everything works out for ya.
I have 2020 F350 Dually Lariat 6.7 with 30k miles. I ordered 2022 F350 Dually Limited on Feb and waiting. Dealer is giving me 72k estimated trade in value for my 2020. I do not have any issue with my 2020.

I’m wondering if it’s Ford in general or just the dealership. I know the assembly is all on Ford, but fixing it is on the service department and they represent Ford (so I guess I just answered my own question. 🤦🏻♂️).
If you ordered a Ram would you do a 4500 cab and chassis or a 3500 pickup? I will warn you, Ram has more build quality issues than Ford. People simply buy them for the motor

Honestly, most platinums I see are black. Whether F150,250,350 or 450 they’re all black. As with Limiteds, hardly ever see any of those but when I do, black. King Ranches are typically white. But again, never really see any of those. Maybe I live in an oddball area
F450s are expensive..wouldnt a good used peterbilt or kw..be a better investment

wtf is it with these shit tires they put on there...my 2020 F450 with 12000mi is starting to wear funny as well. A friend that picked up his 2020 F450 the same day had even worse problems...his were chunking apart
