I believe David L. Lander was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis not long before this episode aired. He passed away on December 4, 2020 due to complications from the disease. He was 73.

I guess that explains why he stopped entering from Stage Right and crossing over like the rest of the panelists. I remember he was diagnosed around that time.

Unlike every other star, who walked behind the banner of their names, David Lander was the 2nd star in the history of the show to not do that, he was to be standing right near the seats (because he had been diagnosed with MS - Multiple Sclerosis - before the taping of this episode), so, they had to shot him, at the right. Bill Cullen (who had polio for almost all of his life until his death) was the 1st not to walk behind the banner of his name and he had to stand near the seats, so he wouldn't do any walking. May David Lander #RIP.

I like watching on RUclips and the BUZZR network,but they make these questions very difficult,stars take too long when very goofy.They mess up people's chances,the dumb times up bell gets in the way and cheats people out of an extra turn and a chance to win.They show favoritism and match one ,but not the other..Supermatch sometimes cheats them.Stars sometimes help ,sometimes they mess up.

I concur. It seems some MG questions have an obvious answer & some others offer such vague hints there are a plethora of answers that could be given 🤨
