I always loved this bit when they'd play it on "The Dr. Demento Show." Thank you, Mr. Hansen, for making the 80's more fun than a barrel of monkeys. =)

1:57 he can't help but slip into Bud Abbot's pattern of speech! :D

I heard this on the radio sometime in the 90's and haven't heard it again until now. Pretty good play on Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First"! Thank you for posting this!

This was syndicated across many AM radio stations in the late '60's. I got it on KRLA in L.A. The were timely and hilarious skits played during the stations news hour.

Thank you very much for posting this! I had only heard the audio of this on The Dr. Demento Show years ago, and I did not know a video of it even existed. A fantastic take on a classic routine!

I've always liked this one, but it reads even better with the video. Thanks.

They cut out the end! Squiggy asks the promoter to write DOWN the acts, since he has a blank piece of paper. The promoter replies “Are you crazy? If I could write, I wouldn’t have stolen this bit!”

That always irritates me! Here's another version that doesn't cut out the end. ruclips.net/video/YEvwW1yqIjA/видео.html

Amazing wordplay - also bonus open-shirtedness for the Shearer fans out there!

There really ought to be a Fred Willard channel.

    . . . . I'm glad the 4th act wasn't "the THE" and the 5th . . . . "The Band"! D:

Where's the punchline ending for this bit? (See the older analog version of this bit for the ending. That version desperately needs to be remastered.)
