      Yeah it sucks but if someone is being as reckless as they were would you rather have them or the police crash and hurt/kill someone? I know the car is stolen but they still try and track them down, they are criminals and will get caught eventually. Criminals have to get lucky every time they do crime, the police only have to get lucky once the odds are not in their favor.

      This is the typical scenario for many Milwaukee cops. Too many wide, open roads, but with houses very close to the curb. Doing a PIT at 45-50 up to the 70-80 is just too risky, for others on the road and property. Likewise, the bigass Explorers and Tahoes they all use are so horribly unmaneuverable that alleyways end up being bowling gutters. If there was more than one car supposedly stolen, they should've had more officers on hand. Unfortunately the cops here have been corrupt for decades, whether your systemic racism that plagues departments across the country or more local ineptitude and apathy that is the result of underwhelming and uninformed "training." To put in another way: I can bet you some of the cops in this video probably do 90 on I-94 and weave lanes... lol

    This is where a patrol CAR would come in handy. Every agency seems to have nothing but these big heavy SUV's. Where I live they they have 0 cars now, all SUV's and trucks. I remember when the crown vic was tearing up streets or a state boy would come out of nowhere in a mustang or camaro now it's all big heavy vehicles.

    Lack of response by the police department. Should have had a larger response and try using stop sticks and blocking. PIT maneuver would have worked if trained. It appeared the cops were afraid of getting a scratch on their cars and dodged the criminals cars whenever they came close. The driving public was put in a very dangerous situation. The KIA BOYS will have a field day in the Milwaukee area.

    Looks like the department invested on top heavy slow pursuit vehicles. Need some Dodge chargers and also utilize stop sticks since they are terrible at ending a chance. They had more than enough units to pit the blue KIA. They need to watch ASP videos of how it’s done. Criminals there know if they drive reckless in the city they’ll get away from a termination. Damn shame!

    I just got done watching this and many times I thought 'omg are you flipping serious? You guys have faster more beefed up cars and you couldn't even take down a little blue car or the Hyundai car? AND all the opportunities in the world to take them down or ram the cars?' this is by far one of the worst jobs I've EVER seen by cops. They let the criminals basically get away and didn't try hard enough. Every one of these cops needs more training on how to properly take down a car in a chase. Absolutely TERRIBLE work. Yes they are in neighborhoods that are heavily populated but still there were multiple times as I watched where I thought you didn't think to ram the car here or there? Ugh this was would NEVER happen in my state of Connecticut. These cops needs more training. F for their performance.

    • @ericharrison619
      @ericharrison619 Год назад +6

      Those Police Utilitys (Explorer) without the turbo are quite the turds. Add that to a city with a no contact chase policy and this is what you get. Spike strips would have been a better choice in this one.

    • @willf.85
      @willf.85 Год назад +1

      @@ericharrison619 well the city needs to change their contact policy big time. What is the city afraid of? Trading a little bit of paint in exchange for catching the bad guys? That's so stupid. But I totally agree spike strips would have been perfect in a few areas. And the fact that they had multiple units after one little car and not one of those units tried anything to stop the stolen cars? These cops are an embarrassment to their city and their department. If these bad guys tried this in my state of Connecticut this chase would not have ended this way. They'd be caught because Connecticut officers are smarter and not afraid to trade some paint and know how to get the back guy. I'd be ashamed and afraid to live in the state these cops are from. Oh great another chase and more bad guys get away. I'll pass.
