  • Police attempted to stop a vehicle for no registration plates displayed in Rosendale, Wisconsin on August 21, 2022. When a traffic stop was initiated, the driver, a 26-year-old man from Oshkosh, failed to stop, increased in speed, and fled eastbound on Rose-Eld Road from the Village of Rosendale to State Highway 23 in Fond du Lac County. The man will be facing numerous charges ranging from traffic offenses, recklessly endangering safety, eluding, and bail jumping. The pursuit travelled approximately 28 miles. One police patrol squad was damaged in the pursuit. Several highway fences were also damaged. No one was injured. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .

I agree with this statement so very much.
Why is it that firing a gun randomly into a crowd, you can easily get charged with dozens of attempted murder charges. Yet, driving a heavy vehicle, which is legally considered a deadly weapon, in such a way that you are risking **hundreds** of lives...
You only get a traffic ticket?
I live between where this video is, and Milwaukee.
The last time I went to Milwaukee was 2 years ago. I have no plans on ever returning to there. The last time I was there, I had 4 cars blow red lights at 60mph+ in a turning lane. Imagine if a kid was crossing the crosswalk!!! Imagine if they lost control and hit my car?! Imagine if a car was on the cross street! No chance would it not be a fatality. As far as I am concerned, There were 4 murder attempts on my wife and myself that day.
Until the Wisconsin government decides to fix these problems, As far as I'm concerned, I'm smack between Greenbay and Chicago. There's no relevant city closer. (Sorry Madison, but what you have that makes you a city I can't afford) And the city of Milwaukee to me... Simply does not exist on the map anymore.

Because that's not financially beneficial to the state, instead they level multiple charges so that the criminal will end up oweing millions in infractions, of course can never pay, then that gets called a state deficit and they can get federal funding.

    • @justforever96

Because the road is still open and they need to make sure the suspect is the one that hits the sticks, not some random dude, and because if they just lay it in the road the guy will see them and just fine around them. The idea is to make sure that it is the correct car and then try to throw the sticks in front at just the right moment so he cant avoid them. That take take that much brainpower to figure out? They never just leave them lying in the road.

When they don't buckle up it is because they are doing low speeds and duty belts are not designed to wear with seat belts, and in dangerous situations because being trapped in a car when you are bebe shot at is easy now dangerous than but wearing a belt. I 100% guarantee that if that claim isn't totally made up by you, thank it is based on someone to asking cops whether they ever go without a belt. Most said yes, I sometimes dont wear a belt. That becomes "90% of cops admit they don't wear a seatbelt". Perfect factual statement, just totally misleading.

I believe that stop sticks would be more effective if an officer was dropped off with them and then move the rolling billboard out of sight (cop car with flashing lights that broadcast, "Stop sticks! Get your stop sticks here while they last!"). The officer with the sticks should hide off the side of the road and deploy the sticks when the suspect is within range.
People know what stop sticks are and how they're used. They also know that whenever they're used there is a cop car sitting on the side of the road. Seeing the cop car in the distance, they have advanced warning and take defensive action to avoid the sticks.
But with no cop car in sight, the sticks could be set out and the fleeing driver wouldn't notice them until it was too late to avoid them.
