Milwaukee: arrested, charged, detained, let go. Failure to appear in court, warrant, arrested, detained, let go. This happens daily in Milwaukee. So sad.
This explains why there are so much reckless driving.

The civilians all seem quite experienced at moving out of the way of police cars.
A refreshing sight to see these days
Probably happens several times a week since there's very little punishment for fleeing police
He will at least be charged with operating w/o seatbelt@@tommyebay
In tight space's to add. Not like the mindless space cadets who are on the highway. Lol
Police should forward videos of these reckless drivers to the guys (and other) insurance company(s). Courts often go lightly on these characters, but insurance companies could reap dividends when they try to renew their policies....make the criminals pay instead of stiffing the rest of population to cover the expenses involved in these dangerous fiascos.
Would like to ride along.
Poor W211. An E500 at that. What a beast of a car.

Good luck with filing a ridiculous claim like that with the city.
What a shame the powers that be don’t allow PIT maneuvers in Milwaukee, I saw several excellent opportunities for them to takeout the Benz at low speed. Policing with one hand behind their backs.
Baby Steps. Just allowed Pursuits in the City not so long ago.
Not every US State is Arkansas. . . some of us have rules.

I agree, they had several opportunities for a PIT...City should take a page out of the Arkansas state police book...Went on too long the suspect and the cops could have hit someone...

all he said was clear... it was clearly bs
Milwaukee has some weird intersections. Great chase.
facts, the whole city looks weird
It’s because of how the city was founded in the 1800s. There are a lot of angled streets because that’s where all the food and main roads coming into the city were back then. They simply kept the roads and here we are today. Lol
That’s just the southside of the city and a small portion of it… that guy knew that area very well. I don’t stay that far from it just in the higher numbers!

Pursuits going down residential areas are more dangerous than those on highways, due to condensed traffic, as well as pedestrians, but I’d have to say this one here was peculiar because it went on for so long without any crashes and I haven’t seen a person walking or crossing the street for the majority of this chase.
Milwaukee is cold so people stay inside.

I drove on one street pot holes, smoother if you drove on a plowed field something going 15mph was rough. The city decided to make a speed hump on the street.
Don’t feel too bad I drive the same car as the chase suspect, and Minneapolis potholes destroyed my air suspension. Anywhere left leaning/liberal is just falling apart right now.

That's why the primary calls out every violation they are getting applied to sentence
What he said
He will be. When you flee they keep a record of every infraction
@@myst8217 No he won't be. Milwaukee...
Judges go by recommendations mostly based on keeping the person from re-offending. If they can do that with probation, they will. Reality is when people do things like this, they don't care what will happen to them. Claiming that harsh prison sentences reduce crime is a myth. The person you're dealing with already has some mental defect. Congress is in process of passing a law called Kill switch law that will require all new cars made after 2026 to have a kill switch. Also supposed to sample the air in the car check if the driver is drunk.
Thank you to the Merc driver and the officer for allowing us to see an amazing chase.

Man these cops made this 100,000 times more dangerous than it should have been. I live in Cincinnati Ohio and here, they most likely would have called off the chase as soon as it hit a school zone or residential areas... Esp since this was just simply someone not stopping for a traffic stop. It's not like dude was a known murderer or a bank robber or anything..
The cops put so many people / innocent children women and men in danger , all because BOO HOO someone didn't pull over when I wanted them too, my ego is hurt.
@@ayten3617 and the city used to have a law where police were not allowed to pursue people at all, but then shit started getting really bad with reckless driving
Over on the east coast, down south and the southern midwestern states, the cops would have pitted the a-hole several times. The Milwaukee cops don’t swarm like other cops either. By allowing him to continue, the likelihood of causing serious injury to someone and property damage increases as long as he drives.
Yeah they had a couple of times to pit maneuver or either ram the vehicle
No shit! I can't believe this. 😮
Cette ville est magnifique, préservez vos anciennes maisons et anciens bâtiments commerciaux !!
E500 is still a fast car by modern standards. All he had to do was hit the highway and it would have walked away from the American made Ford.

Chasing the "failure to yield" through the narrow streets of Milwaukee is so dangerous to the driving public when a PIT maneuver would have ended the danger.

Yeah Milwaukee has a lot of historic architecture some of the original neighborhoods have structures dating back to the mid-1800’s. You would love the City Hall building, you should check it out it’s all limestone.

I live in Milwaukee and hazardous driving is and will continue being an issue... I lost a friend and his girlfriend due to a police chase that went into a residential area and crossed into a busy street full of pedestrians and traffick... They were standing on the bus stop and the car they were chasing slammed into them pinning them up against a brick house... They literally had no time to react... Although I appreciate the service of law enforcement I feel the safety of citizens needs to come into play at some point...
Superb coverage and communication, Kudos officers!
Arkansas would’ve had the whole thing over with in the first five minutes
5 years in jail. A lifetime suspension of driving privileges. 10 years reporting probation.
I gotta say, this chase , accelerations, corners and all in small streets was pretty exciting, at first,... 10 minutes in, this is getting absolutely ridiculous and reckless.
SMH...make sure that criminal stays safe grrrr.... you think this is safe for the civilians/pedestrians/police? The police should've been able to PIT.
Milwaukee looks like a very depressing place to live
Yes indeed. All those steeples you saw in the video? Those used to be churches prevalent in the south side of Milwaukee, with names such as St. Benedict's, St. Casmir, St. Gall, etc. As the German and Polish people are getting older and dying, more Latino and black people are moving in.
That's the part of Milwaukee u saw, that's the lower south side area where it's mostly Hispanic and Latinos. All of Milwaukee does not look like this.

So many chances to pit that car and they just let him drive away.
Milwaukee PD isn’t allowed to PIT.

They should've cancelled the pursuit as soon as the suspect was doing 70mph down residential streets. I wonder what the reason for the stop was...police HAVE to balance the risk vs reward potentiality of pursuing offenders versus the amount of danger posed to the public by pursuing them.

To be honest guys, there’s about 5+ car chases in the city of Milwaukee alone per day. It’s at least two of them at night in the West Allis area where I stay…. The laws aren’t so tight on eluding and fleeing. These guys are out of JAIL in a week after they pull this dangerous publicity stunt
(with a contingency to show back up to court) some of them don’t even show up to court resulting in a bench warrants, so, when they get caught, they run because they have that bench warrant that they never took care of. It’s a repeat!

It's against Milwaukee PD departmental policy so technically they can't.
