I think anyone that had been pitted once would just go ahead and stop, but this idiot thinks well, now I'll speed up so that next time I'll hit the divider even harder, LOL. He knew he wasn't getting away, so I guess his miniscule little brain thought going a bit further would delay the inevitable for another couple of minutes.
It because of watching the ASP videos on RUclips, that I know to drive carefully through Arkansas. The ASP is dogged and relentless and they don't play.
These idiots need to be made to pay restitution to the other drivers whose cars they damage. Insurance never pays the full amount and it takes countless hours dealing with getting the paperwork done and repairs made. Those responsible for such outrageous behavior need to be made to pay.

That cop needs to teach the LAPD how to do a pit maneuver. LAPD just bumps the vehicle. This officer caused that truck to do a hard spin out twice….and right into the concrete barrier….sweeeet….
California police seem to prefer following at a respectful distance until the perp gets bored. They're perfectly happy to let someone drive around for three hours. Arkansas and Georgia police definitively end chases.

A pit maneuver has a desired effect and bumping a vehicle does nothing towards the desired effect. Thanks for this video, Lt.! The highlight of this pursuit, for me, was when the "Super Trooper" (Officer Donley?) arrived and proceeded to rush right up behind the truck and stayed there; it looked like a piece of paper would not fit between the two vehicles. Everyone be safe and be well! ❤

The calm, the presence, the focus, at 178 MPH+ (try to remain calm at that speed with traffic and other nonsense happening) was absolutely unbelievable. Some folks are born to do certain things. We think that many who serve with the ASP were literally born to do what they do. Born to eradicate the "black hats". Nothing against black hats, and I am not referring to "race" so-called. I wear a black hat everyday literally. I am talking about the line in the proverbial sand. Choose wisely. Also, be well or you might just go to hell. The line is blurred at this moment in time figuratively as well as literally. However, in AR, the line is clear and is presented in 8K for those who dare. Take care and be safe out there. BTW. The Byrd family has over 100 YEARS in LE in AR. This AR Trooper and gentleman was just fantastic.

The guy acted like he was out for a Sunday afternoon ride until Arkansas State got involved. I think Arkansas needs to teach other states how to bring pursuits to an end, especially California!! Here in Washington state pursuits have not been allowed for the last 2-3 years. But tomorrow they get to do it again!! Arkansas probably needs to come and give these guys a refresher! 63 yr old Kenny Wood still stuck on stupid. Suspended DL meth coke possession drug paraphernalia theft over $1K leaving scene accident with injured. Total 10 charges 2 active warrants.
I've said it before, you can run from local cops all day but boy when that ASP unit rolls up on your rear bumper you got 2 choices. 1, you can pull over, park and show your hands, or 2, you better cinch up your belts cause you can bet you'll soon be taking the ride of your life.
Sadly it isn't all the states in the country protecting its citizens. People in Arkansas and a few other states are lucky to have excellent law enforcement.
They pulled him out slick as anything, just like a breech-born calf. If he had just stopped, like he knows he's supposed to, then none of that would've happened. Here's a tip: If you don't want to go involuntary Superman out of your truck window, then don't lead state troopers and local PD on a merry chase, after stealing from Home Depot. It's much more work to earn all of this than it is to avoid it.
I've noticed that Arkansas is very good about getting traffic moving again, unlike many other states. I've personally been stuck for over an hour because the police just refused to open a lane. There was no debris, nothing in that lane at all, just a police car. Extremely frustrating, especially on a very hot day. Then after an hour, moved his car and let traffic finally move. Suspect had been removed from the scene 30 minutes at that point. Grrrr. But Arkansas cleans debris quickly and get traffic moving in minutes. Bravo! Definitely want to spend my tourist dollars in Arkansas. Efficient, courteous and professional, state troopers and locals alike.
Makes me want to live in Arkansas! FAFO!! Frackin Mass where I live the police are strictly prohibited from any high speed chase. We'll have no prosecution for some theft soon like Cali and get all their mass theft issues too. Love watching the ASP in these!

His insurance (if he has any) will not pay anything at all, since damage was due during the commission of a crime, they consider him uninsured.

I've driven 1-40 many times from North Carolina through Arkansas to So.Cal. I'm so glad I didn't change lanes without my blinker in Arkansas.
I always see those cement things and thought they wont hold a vehicle in. Yeah they will.
They have a top and bottom loop of steel cable at each end and a steel pin inserted as they set each piece, tying them together.

I love how the trooper's and responding force officers always reminds me of Avenging Angels swooping in on their prey ❤
Arkansas state troopers are always dressed nice, certainly in shape and always get their man.
Troop A is especially fit.
Makes me want to live in Arkansas! FAFO!! Frackin Mass where I live the police are strictly prohibited from any high speed chase. We'll have no prosecution for some theft soon like Cali and get all their mass theft issues too. Love watching the ASP in these!
