  • Fond du Lac Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle but the vehicle drove away which initiated a police pursuit. During the chase, the stolen vehicle abruptly stopped, two people exited the vehicle, which led to the arrest of a 41-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man. Moments later, a deputy from the Fond du Lac Sheriff's Office spotted the vehicle soon after. The vehicle did not stop for the deputy and led to another pursuit, traveling through numerous city streets before heading onto Interstate 41 southbound from South Military Road. The suspect struck a deputy’s squad squad head-on outside the Love's Travel Center, both the squad and suspect’s vehicle sustained heavy damage. No one was injured but the 32-year-old man from Milwaukee was arrested. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .

One of the shortest police chase videos I’ve seen in a long time. Good job officers! Now if the prosecutors would stop reducing charges and taking plea deals, we might actually put a stop to crimes like this. It’s rare these days for criminals who commit property crimes, including auto theft, to actually do a reasonable amount of time in county jail much less prison. We’re way too soft on crime in this country.

This is the same reason you see female prison guards pregnant by inmates. Either being nice to them, feeling sorry for them, or believing the attention and complements they give them. I tried to explain to my wife, probably not in a nice way but, some men will have sex with any woman, no matter the size or shape, even if not attractive or attracted to them (especially if they can get something out of it). You see the episodes of court shows like Judge Judy wherein a seemingly nice, intelligent woman (maybe a little overweight) believes some guy that instantly tells them he loves them then after they get money or a car from them, they break up and say they were just "gifts." I saw one where the guy made the mistake of paying the girl a few payments then claimed they money was a gift, you don't make any payments if you truly believe it is a gift.

If you can't, do not cooperate, do not comply and tell them you are in fear for your life. If they arrest you, resist. Insist you did nothing. Tell them you can't breathe. Great job on the results. However you shouldn’t have stopped on the railroad tracks because you could of gotten hit by a train and one started coming as you were parked on the tracks, not the sorta thing one should do in any situation in my opinion. There was a couple of police officers who made the same mistake not too long ago accept in their situation it turned out badly. They handcuffed a suspect and then locked them in the back seat of their patrol car which was parked on the railroad tracks and a Train came and demolished the vehicle with suspect handcuffed and locked in the back seat of his vehicle. The injuries that occurred were very severe, however luckily they didn’t die. I imagine they are traumatized for life though as they watched helplessly as the train came smashing through the cruiser and they couldn’t do anything to save themselves. I know you didn’t do that but it’s something you can think about when you are on the tracks again.

A little panic there, officer? YOu're parked WAAAAYYY back there. Not sure why. You tell everybody "You're under arrest" without even surveying the situation? Is this normal procedure or, is the start of this video way into the pursuit, already?
