- Milwaukee Police attempted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of North 20th Street & West Vine Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 20, 2021. The vehicle fled from officers and would later crash near North 24th Street & West Lisbon. The driver was arrested. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .

Holy crap, that was the fastest medical response I have ever seen!!!! He called for an ambulance at 3:35 and they rolled up on-scene at 3:44 nine seconds later. I may move to Milwaukee. You don't even get a response that fast in a B-rated police drama on TV.

Where the accident happened, there is a private emergency response team up the street. That was the only reason why it was faster. I know because I lived in that city for 28 years.

Love all Law Enforcement, not being in the Law Enforcement side of First Responders, I can see, this is probably a trainee. The FTO, had to remind him about running through stop signs, stop lights, and almost moving into the lane of oncoming traffic. This trainee (if I'm right?) needs to understand, that just because any First Responder with lights and sirens on, is asking for the right of way. It does not mean it's given to us to speed through. Please remind him that (this goes back 30plus years ago. I was speeding, the MSP Officer asked me how come I didn't use the horses under my hood to out run him? It was a Simple answer to his question, because Radio's are faster than my horses under my hood!). He laughed and said I was right. Our Radio's are faster than this car and driver. He has the plate, yes I get he wants to catch this perp. You have the Upper hand young Grasshopper, community safety is vital. Take a breath, relax, and slow down at stop lights, stop signs, and even your corner wasn't the best. You didn't do what the Academy taught you. Here's another thing we were taught, it doesn't do you any good if you crash your vehicle. You do that and your out of the chase. You hit someone, and then your really out. Did you notice the lady on the left drivers side, right before you passed the white car? That's tunnel vision, your so focused on the prize (the perp) that you forget that we need to watch about 260 degrees, even more in the rear of your vehicle. Please understand, I'm not saying this to be mean, im hoping constructive, and you can learn from it. Anyone that knows me, understands that I'm not being mean, not scolding, but trying to help you from destroying your career. All it would take is hitting a pedestrian, or another vehicle with people and kids in! We have to understand that everything we do now days has people on the other side looking to defund Law Enforcement. I hope you take this as helping hand, I know the job is difficult for all of us, we see stuff nobody knows about, smells, horrific accidents, and then there's the target on all First Responder's backs. Yes even Paramedic's get shot at, Fire also, in the case that just happened in California. Accident scenes, how many times do we get hit, by drunks, or people driving? Seems like every day we hear about stories of First aresponders vehicles being hit, and that's with all our lights flashing. Please tell all your families thank you, and Thank all First Responders and Comm's Specialists, most people would never understand all the multi tasking they do, the role calls they do when we're out and about. They're like a Rolex Watch, even with CAD they still call role call if they haven't heard from us. That's why I say they're Communication Specialists. They are our life lines, thank you all! Whatever agency this is they really need to have a grooming requirement for their officers. White officer had a bitch bun & a black one damn near looked like the perp with his hair! I know that certain agencies are in need of officers but they should still be presentable & those two were not (in my opinion).
As for the pursuit itself, well done to those officers & their driving skills!
Ban pursuits for this reason. They got the plate. Why keep chasing them?
Never a possibility for the plate to be stolen, for it to not list to the vehicle, and for the registered owner to not be driving the vehicle, right? Therefore, making the plate identify the driver under all circumstances, right???
By the way, the only time people drive recklessly and at high speeds in the city of Milwaukee is when they are chased by the police, right?! Wrong. Wake up. This type of behavior clearly stemmed from Flynn's no pursuit policy in the first place. THE DEFENDANT (bad guy if you don't know what that means) caused this crash, NOT the officers. Criticize him, NOT the people out there doing their job. This is what police work looks like. It's not always pretty. Welcome to reality clueless armchair expert.
