📲 Pssst, our Pick Up Limes app is now out (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 Pinch us, because we can't believe it! 🤯 We've hit 4 million subscribers, and we have YOU to thank for it 🥹 Your comments, likes, and shares have kept us motivated and inspired every step of the way. We're so excited for what's to come, and we're beyond grateful to have such a fantastic community by our side. Thank you for making all of this possible! 🤗
The chickpea dish is called cheela in India. It's a commonly prepared dish in North India. We add cumin seeds, tomatoes, onion, and yogurt( whatever left over vegetables we have in the fridge). we make it like thin pancakes( like dosa) and best it with some Indian pickles and yogurt.
No no this is vegan frittata. You saw it was very thick..cheela for us very thin, sort of like crepês. Living in NL, her recipes are really life saving. Healthy and budget friendly as well. Jealous of her cookware though.
I’m a nutrition student and I always recommend your website for delicious healthy meals. Anytime I’m stuck for what to cook i know I’ll find the right choice on your site, thank you so much Sadia x
Absolutely you can. I study with the college of naturopathic medicine. Which can be studied online too (however you do need to see where your nearest college is to do clinics), hope that helps
Hey Rubena - are you also a vegan?. How would you incorporate an important protein such as 'Wulzen factor' (for boosting joint and synovial integrity) in a vegan diet?.
Hi! I’m from Ukraine and roasted buckwheat is our traditional porridge. We eat it always savoury, I’ve never thought to prepare it sweet, but thank you for the idea) In Ukraine we call “kasha” any porridge- it can be rice, buckwheat, oats, bulgur … We call buckwheat “grechka “😅
@@MeowTX just like rice, add some salt and water and let it simmer for 20 minutes, then stir in some butter for a creamy texture. Great with mushrooms or a poached egg
I have to say you are an INSPIRATION!!! I lost my job right before the pandemic. Since then, I’ve started a RUclips Channel on Money…and it is GROWING! Thanks for all of your great content, and to everyone else…NEVER GIVE UP!!!
I love how you are including some “bloopers!” It provides a “behind the scenes” view into the reality of what the process is like making these amazing RUclips videos and the content you are sharing 🙏
I loved that you said lekker after the frittata bite! Being South African, Lekker is one of the best words to describe anything that makes you happy/excited. that frittata does indeed look lekker. Love your videos!!!
You have had such a positive impact on my journey the past three years. Congratulations on 4 million subscribers! All of us are grateful for you and all of the content you share!
I like that you added zucchini and tomato to the frittata. I find chickpea flour gets dry so easily and the moist vegetables are a great way to avoid that
🎉😊 I was so happy it showed you had a new video up with vegan recipes!!! The way you film & explain makes me feel like I'm right there in the kitchen with you getting help with all these wonderful works of art you put together! Thank you 🌱
I think this might be your best breakfast video so far! Thank you for all these great ideas and especially the buckwheat recipe! I would love to see more buckwheat recipes!
Hi Sadie! Some tip for flipping the frittata would be to use the lid or a plate (as you do to flip it over later). Just make sure that the plate is smaller than the pan itself, so that it's easier and doesn't run over, and do it in the sink so that if there's hot oil in the pan, you won't burn yourself. Then put it pack into the pan slowly. This is what we do in Spain to flip the heavy omelets and cook them on the other side, and since I was taught to do it that way, it works much better than flipping it inside the pan itself!
Interesting, In Spain I learned the same, except to make sure the plate is bigger than the pan.. smaller than the pan makes me think food/oil/etc could fall out the side of the plate or if the omelets or whatever you're making isn't ready, it could easily fall apart/off the plate if it's smaller. Then you can either slide it back or, if it's too delicate, use another plate flip to get it back.
Wow! Over 4 million subscribers! That is fantastic. I remember watching you a number of years ago and back then I though your videos were so relaxing, informative and enjoyable! It is so encouraging as a creator to see you have such great success. I wish you the best! You just made my day!
Ur language and presentation skills are equally good...always keeping it light and easy for every one to understand but also being a graceful host at the same time
I just made a bit different version of the 2nd recipe, replaced the sesame seeds with coconut flakes, put some more maple syrup, added this... Petmez or something, some kashews and the result was wow!! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much for sharing the recipes, @PickUpLimes !! 🥰🥰
I am from India but live in Poland. I many times try incorporating veggies from here and cook Indian style. But these breakfast recipes are awesome. The berry season is here so why not try out your recipes. For sure would let you know how they turned out soon. Thanks a lot for sharing with us your lovely smile, energy and recipes.
Congratulations on the 4 million ...well deserved...U were the best vegan channel i found in a long time...I've thoroughly enjoyed ur videos on minimalism and vegan cooking...what I love most about it videos is that u always make a collection of recipes enough for a week...this actually makes shopping easier
Anything that has slather in the description has to be good!! They all looked yummy. The frittata had Spanish tortilla vibes. I used to live in southern Spain, one of my fav places on the planet. ❤
I love the mini bloopers at the beginning of the video😄 I can taste the dishes in every video you make, I love all of them!!! Question: savoury or sweet breakfast? In Spain, sweet wins!
Can you someday make a video with breakfast recipes that you can prepare in advance? This for people that work fulltime and have no time to prepare such delicious breakfasts in the morning 😊
Amazing pictures , I enjoy even just to watch your videos. I wish more Dieticians were as spontenious and diverse and well prepared as seen on your videos. Your culture and input is highly valued.

Hi Sadie! I just made the buckwheat porridge! Mmmm! So good! It's a nice change from oatmeal! It felt like desert for breakfast! I love your recipes! Thanks for inspiring us and motivating us to eat healthy!!
Thanks to your overnight oats recipes, I started LOVING oatmeal in the mornings. Definitely waaay better and more nutritious than my typically Dutch boterham. I’m gonna try the Kasha as well😍
I am so excited to try all three of these recipes. I have been wanting to try something different for breakfast. I almost always have steel cut oats with berries and bananas, flax, hempseed and chia seed mixture, syrup and cocoa nibs. I love it but ready for a change!
Some ingredients that you use like kala namak, chickpea flour(besan in india) it feels like you are here with us. 💕 I make this , it's called 'chilla' here . Sadia you're here with us, always. ❤️
Hi! I love you guys so much and appreciate you guys so much and all the content you share. It helps my little learning plant based family so much in living healthier lives. I’m wondering if there’s any way you could share nutrition guides that I could use for meal planning and maybe even specific ones for making sure I’m getting the right nutrition into my little ones diets daily. I have a 3 year old who is an amazing eater but I wonder sometimes if I’m getting him all he needs. We have a 5 month old as well who will be starting solids next month. Thanks! Love you guys so much.❤
Congrats Sadia! I've been subscribed to your channel since you had 1M! Just wanted to clarify that Kasha means any porridge. In Russia, buckwheat porridge is usually eaten unsweetened, with butter, or it can be served as a side dish to meat, mushrooms, etc.
Really like your variety. I am not vegan, but my daughter in law and family are. I like to keep informed so I can make something for them . Can't wait to try the recipes

Yesss I was thinking that is so familiar, something my mum makes (but as you said, thin like dhosa). Cant remember what gujjus call it.
Gujarati - pudlaa
Yummm
Yesss that's what i thought too. Love cheelas

Glory to Ukraine:)
Exactly. I've thought: "kasha? You mean grechka? 🤨" 😄
Same in russian)) we call it 'grechka' because it actually came from Greece.
May i ask how do you prepare it savory style?
@@MeowTX just like rice, add some salt and water and let it simmer for 20 minutes, then stir in some butter for a creamy texture.
