  • From the Huffington Post:
Making his first public appearance since the arrest of Aaron Hernandez, Patriots coach Bill Belichick addressed the murder charge against the former New England tight end during a press conference on Wednesday.
"I'm going to address the situation involving Aaron Hernandez. I felt that it was important enough to do that prior to the start of camp. It's a sad day. It's really a sad day on so many levels," Belichick told reporters as he read from prepared remarks. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim and I extend my sympathy really to everyone who's been impacted. A young man lost his life and his family has suffered a tragic loss and there's no way to understate that."

when its all said and done, the world is going to look back and see the patriots went through everything the world could throw at them and handle it with exceptional class and grace.

hell, what can you do? maybe better to skip any player in the draft if they already have a bad enough past and that's not what the pats did with hernandez. bad choice, but i'm sure the pats had good intentions.

it was nice to see Bill taking a topic seriously and being accommodating. we're on to Gronkowski.

So many red flags on Aaron Hernandez going back to college. The magnitude of this crime is shocking but there were strong signs of gang and thug behaviour associated with Hernandez.

Cheating is against the rules in the NFL and any other game. Killing someone is against the rules in life. So all these comments trying to blend the two are ridiculous really lol
