I know you made this comment a while ago, but I play football for my high school and team and what you described is so perfectly accurate. The ‘no excuses’ mentality and the ‘on to the next one’ ideology is crucial to successful football teams. Say you blame your offense, then your defense doesn’t really have a reason to improve. ChasinFromBehind Right, play ball. And sell Pepsi. And trademark cute ways of circumventing NFL policy on media day. And get into bar fights in San Francisco.
I like productive arguments, but i don't think ill get any from you. What exactly does talking about Pepsi and bar fights have to do with playing football and talking to the media post-game?
ChasinFromBehind Lol when you start off a debate with "there's something you need to understand," you kinda set the tone if you get my drift. You're saying he just wants to play ball, but he DOESN'T just want to play ball now does he? It's not enough that he can't give a normal post-game interview like everyone else. He needs to get punished to force him to give an interview. But that's not enough for Lynch, either. He has to do it in a way to attract the most attention to himself as possible, and find a loophole in the rules. But even that's not enough. Not only does he screw around with the rules, but he's proud of it and even uses it to hawk soda on TV and now trademarks his infamous phrase so he can make more money off his poor behavior. All this, combined with his off the field issues, does not indicate that Lynch just wants to "play ball." You know who just wants to play ball? Tom Brady. Russell Wilson. JJ Watt. And they're not really stars, but Thomas Rawls and Bryce Brown seem to be more professional also. Lynch, like so many other Seahawks, is a drama queen.
LoL as a huge Pat's and San Antonio Spurs fan... I gotta give Bill Belicheck and Gregg Popovich a lot of Kudos... (In other words, both of them give hilarious press conferencea
Joe Bellino was a Navy player in 1960 when Bill was hanging out at Annapolis. I saw a utube video with where someone asked Bill to diagram a play called for Joe Bellino, and Bill accurately drew it up. Bill must have been about 10 years old at the time. But he could accurately recall the play, and the call from over 50 years earlier, Bellino confirmed it. Simply an amazing football mind.
At first I was thinking, Gosh how could this only be 5:39 long... and then I thought, nah, that makes sense it's probably every thing he's said in his tenure as HC of the Pats up to that point. Needless to say this is rather enjoyable and brings me a good laugh after a long week.

"I'm only here so I'm not fined" basically sums up every press conference Bill has given. He's there to coach his team, not answer dumb questions from these reporters.
Just watch the man draw up plays and talk with Steve Burton on Patriots all-access.... he will get into X's and O's in full teacher/student mode .... and you will learn more about football in ten minutes than hours of listening to anyone else... and get him talking football history he can go on and on.... he can tell you who ran what type of offense in the 50's and who the first to do this or that was..... his knowledge is endless and never wrong. He was breaking down film with his dad when he was 6
If you watch Bill imic'd up you realize this is him. In the field he doesn't have to say much but when he does you listen he will make you better. Bill is the best actor in the NFL being unpredictable whether it’s coaching a game or being a press conference this is what makes him a great coach
I love him so much
Look at the wall behind Belicheck...my man's knew about Covid before us all...true Genius.
Best answer ever was this season when they asked him how big of an advantage was having homefield in the playoffs, and he said go ask KC and Dallas LMFAO
Belichick press conferences are my go to before bed videos haha
I'm just here so I won't get fined
+Kobeee24BRyant Marshawn Lynch is such an unprofessional little brat.
Vlad there's something you need to understand...The man just wants to play ball. No silver lining no nothin.
Everyone is just in such awe of this guy. Most of it is well deserved. But just drooling over every sentence that comes out of his mouth.
The feature back question lolol
LoL as a huge Pat's and San Antonio Spurs fan... I gotta give Bill Belicheck and Gregg Popovich a lot of Kudos... (In other words, both of them give hilarious press conferencea
I’m an eagles fan but love this dude
Ima Die Hard Panthers Fan And I Can Say I Love Bill’s Coaching Truly A GOAT
He always reminded me of Bob Newhart
Joe Bellino was a Navy player in 1960 when Bill was hanging out at Annapolis. I saw a utube video with where someone asked Bill to diagram a play called for Joe Bellino, and Bill accurately drew it up. Bill must have been about 10 years old at the time. But he could accurately recall the play, and the call from over 50 years earlier, Bellino confirmed it. Simply an amazing football mind.
I love bill so much XD
At first I was thinking, Gosh how could this only be 5:39 long... and then I thought, nah, that makes sense it's probably every thing he's said in his tenure as HC of the Pats up to that point. Needless to say this is rather enjoyable and brings me a good laugh after a long week.
Skins fan for life and I love coach Belichick.....love how he shares NOTHING with the media.
He is a genius and one of the best NFL coaches of all time but Bill B is an eccentric genius!
“Are you adverse to having a feature back”
Basically asking him if he’s against having a good running back, how can you be a nfl reporter and ask a question like that I mean cmon it’s like asking if a team without a QB if they’d like to draft a good QB
"I'm only here so I'm not fined" basically sums up every press conference Bill has given. He's there to coach his team, not answer dumb questions from these reporters.
Mona Lisa Vito as she was in the car expertise area...
AS J I remember seeing shortly afterwards that “Mona Lisa Vito” was one of the most googled terms right after he said it.
Gillette Flexball was not the greatest sponsor for that press conference
Just watch the man draw up plays and talk with Steve Burton on Patriots all-access.... he will get into X's and O's in full teacher/student mode .... and you will learn more about football in ten minutes than hours of listening to anyone else... and get him talking football history he can go on and on.... he can tell you who ran what type of offense in the 50's and who the first to do this or that was..... his knowledge is endless and never wrong. He was breaking down film with his dad when he was 6
If you watch Bill imic'd up you realize this is him. In the field he doesn't have to say much but when he does you listen he will make you better. It's not "do your job" like you think it's yes Do my job because you don't want to let Bill down! Mad respect not the best mic to the face skills but a true legend.
Sorry if im yelling😂
I love how they tossed Caliendos impression of him in there 😂
I hope he coaches into his mid 70s
I'm a dolphins fan and hate the patriots with a passion but I have the utmost respect for BB. His handprints are all over NFL in every coaching staff somewhere. Ozzie Newsome learned directly from this guys process and built one of the best defenses ever. What he has done with the pats organization is the stuff of legends. He is one of the only coaches that is on the level of Don Shula, Lombardi, Landry and those legend coaches. I love his press conferences haha. Anytime someone asks me a tough question my answer is: I'm onto cincinatti.
Repeat the question......
We’re on to Cincinnati
4:50 the whole room is so engaged and tuned in to Belichick. It's like they're learning how the moon orbits Earth for the first time
Here after he trolled the Jets at MNF.
The 1st 17 seconds..a microcosm of me trying to deal with Life...😅
3:33 holy shit it's Trey Parker
Terram Lucida Tela Concilium
The key is to get him going about something like some defensive scheme Paul Brown ran for the 1955 Browns. That kind of stuff gets him going.
In other words, ask smart questions get a smart answer.
He is the BEST!! His interest is ONLY in the Locker Room and the Field!! WIN WIN WIN!!! More SUPERBOWLS The BETTER !!!! 6 of 9 and more to come!! GO PATRIOTS !! GO BELICHICK!! GO BRADY!!! BEST DYNASTY EVER!!!!
Jim MOras "Playoffs?Playoffs?I hiope we can just win a game"
The first 10 seconds had me rolling!!! XD
That's right boys, ask a smart question, get a good answer. Prepare and show the person you're interviewing that you've done your homework. Kinda basic journalism. Prepare for the interview.
I cringe at what reporters ask at press conferences. Doesn't enhance the profile of the profession.
Greatest coach of any sport at any time. Out.
In 2020: The thumbnail has "COVID" that caught my eyes :)
@1:17 brady looking as though he got punished by daddy lmao
him a mike tomlin should have talk show
Chris duke Fields lol
Mike Tomlin would stand there and beat his chest and offer no football insight whatsoever.
he is the best Press Conferences never go off wooow dude
Patriots nation always have class, we get the job done and move on to the next game, while everyone else talks shit. Simple as that.
coolmathgame Alokoa class? Your team was filiming other teams hahahaha yeah class
Belechick just knows how to win SB's, that's what he does for a living. EVERY city wants a head coach like Belechick. He doesn't have time for the obvious.
Like when corey dillon ran for 1600 yards lol
Ben Volin, the man who knows how to get bill to talk. That longsnapping question 🙌🏽
All I keep seeing is COVID in the background lol
Me too
When Bill said I’m not an expert several times made me laugh
2:06 look to the right, the pats predicted covid.
Was looking for this comment! It's even worse at 4:02 over his shoulder
Hey you guys should get the one after the sunday night game at Detroit. Classic belichick going off for a while
"Get to his level"
Nice video
The man is a genius
Lol that question about Manning was a great question, BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Love Bill.
