you have to love that Brady liked having Eddelaman around to "bust his balls to make him human." This implies that Brady did not completely buy into all the hype surrounding him as the GOAT and his celebrity. Many iconic celebs go the opposite direction and only tolerate sycophants and followers. Laughing at yourself is healthy. Eddleman clearly knew his Senior role and his proximity to Brady made him the guy to make new team members more comfortable around Brady. This helped everyone reduce tension and create a good workflow (a key to organizational dynamics).

The Pats settled that to save the league from looking bad because Roger Goodell tried to change the rule with a memo, instead of getting a majority vote for the owners as required. If it is going to court the Pats win. It just blows my mind that in a world where we all have a library on a laptop or phone that ppl haven’t read the rule. I surely you know by now that media sensationalizes & lies to us every day. I would love to say the Patriots cheated in beating my Steelers but they didn’t violate the rule. Then the rule was finally changed in the offseason by vote of the owners AFTER the Patriots were punished. It’s just a matter of looking for truth over emotion.
