I know for me as a Jets fan, in the year 2010, we became the first team during that time to beat Manning and Brady in back to back weeks and we did it in their place.
I was there for the infamous 4th and 2 game. COLTS fans were getting up and leaving when it was a 13 pt game in the 4th Q and Peyton threw a pick on a miscommunication. Tons of time left and they were leaving when you have the guy who engineers comebacks all the time? I was yelling at them. Telling them they would regret it in their cars for the rest of their life if the Colts won. Sure enough... it happened. The stadium got real quiet for a few seconds when everyone realized that the Patriots weren't going to punt up 6 and force Peyton to go 80+ to win but GO FOR IT on the 28 yard line. This was before analytics and all that bs. It was Bill not wanting to give the ball back to Peyton at all v a tired defense. I was thinking to myself "man defense, slant to Moss is coming". But he threw to Faulk who bobbled his catch as he was getting hit by Bob Sanders BACKUP. That's why he was short. He lost a half yard as he secured the ball and got sent backwards. Then the Colts moved the ball and on the 2 yard line as time was ticking down... Peyton snapped it at 15 seconds and threw a perfect inside dart to Wayne for the win. The Patriots fans who had the lead most of the game and were talking trash around us didn't stick around to eat crow. They left basically running out of the stadium in horror realizing that they just blew a 17 point 4th quarter lead.
I love these two. The respect and admiration they have for each other is inspiring and peyton is the greatest ambassador for football. Their relationship is Magic/ Bird level two competitive rivals who actually needed each other and changed the game and in their retirement their friendship is palpable
As a Pats fan, Peyton gave me so much anxiety as a kid whenever the Patriots played the Colts. I don't think I ever hated Peyton, but man seeing the Colts on the schedule was like "Damn, not a comfortable win for the Pats", lol.

Peyton Manning could be a stand up comedian 🤣🤣 dudes hilarious. Both total class acts, very cool to hear the respect and admiration they have for one and other.
I was a Peyton fan and I was able to make it to a game at Indy when the TD record was on the line against the Baltimore Ravens and saw him play in person in 2004. Sunday night. I never hated Tom Brady but did worry about those matchups. lol. All I can say is when Peyton Manning tells you he’s honored to be here, you made it to the top. This was great.
So much greatness on this stage. Tom’s the GOAT and there’s no doubt. Skill- and talentwise there’s no doubt that Payton is absolutely equal to TB12. The only differentiator is that Brady has 5 more rings. And we can argue if that was his clutch-gene, his leadership, BB’s defense or a cluster of all that and more… doesn’t matter. Brady vs. Manning was peak football. Not sure if we’ll ever see that high standard of QB play ever again. Especially with the “soft defenses” that they are forced to play nowadays.
I know really but glad brady got one of those super bowl screw ups back at tampa for his 7th. Specially against the chiefs reed and mahommee that one really set and end the debate. @@Thegod_of_memes
Dam that bout made me cry. Sad we don't get to see them on the field anymore but extremely grateful I had the opportunity. And I'm a Dallas Jacksonville fan. But to watch both of them on the field was a true pleasure.
It’s just so crazy that we got to watch the greatest qb of all time face off against arguably the second greatest qb of all time for 15 years. It was Jordan vs LeBraun every year, most of the time twice a year. And it was magical. ❤
Got a lot of enjoyment, and a bit of pain, watching Peyton & Co. line up against the Pats all those years. Peyton was pretty much a player coach within a couple seasons in the league. One of the smartest QB's to ever lace then up, fiery competitor & always a class act.
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are the 2 best QBs to ever play. I'm so happy I got to grow up watching them, the Brady v. Manning promos they always did for their games always got me so hyped up. NFL Sundays don't feel the same without seeing these guys on the field.
Payton is my favorite QB all time he was on my favorite team growing up so he will always have a special place in my heart, yet you can't take away the GOATS success Tom deserves all the hype.
Brady V Manning rivalry is my dang childhood. Makes me so happy for the respect they have for one another. There will never be anything like these two in the league ever again
As a Colts fan I hated Tom and the Patriots because of the rivalry but always respected the talent and the competition as well and it’s nice to be able to give him his flowers now that he’s not thrashing us in the playoffs anymore (we just need to get there again now)
Can you imagine being a high school player and getting to catch these two! My buddy got to catch John Elway during a strike year and he said it was like trying to catch a bullet
I've disliked Manning for years, mainly because I'm a Brady fan. Quiet frankly, I hated him for no real reason. However, over time, I've come to appreciate and admire his brilliant play. When I lived in Wyoming, I was the lone Patriots fan amidst a sea of passionate Pats haters. i also briefly lived in Denver when Manning won a chip. The 20-18 game still stings, but it was an incredible match. The Broncos were fearless and relentless. Brady was abused and showed how tough he is. Now in my mid-40s, I recognize that we'll likely never witness such a rivalry again. I rank Manning solidly as the #2 quarterback of all time, and I have no issue with people considering him the best. He truly was that great. I'll miss them. Football is not the same without brady and manning.
The Mike interview style was bad, he wasn’t prepared and his questions were cheesy. Just let Manning come out and do his own thing. He doesn’t need stupid questions .
Football will never be the same without these two. As a fan of the Browns, everyone knew when it was Peyton vs Brady, that was like a bowl game of itself. And that was by far the most important game of the week. It was such a big deal because everyone knew the two greatest of all time were going against each other.
The greatest football rivalry of my lifetime. I love hoe humble they both are when talking about each other. Brady from thr outside appears to have had all the success, but he is right when he said they were driven by their defense early on and i have no doubt he looked up to Peyton. And even though Peyton was honest when he said that more often than not it was Tom on the winning end, which is true. People forget thar head to head in the post season, Peyton was actually better with a 5-3 record vs Tom. To simplify this, it's the 2 best QBs of their Era. Period.

I know for me as a Jets fan, in the year 2010, we became the first team during that time to beat Manning and Brady in back to back weeks and we did it in their place.
Flacco too @@jakebuchsbaum3348
Unnoticed legendary dig. Peyton says, "Well you all should like me here a lot more than Eli."
It’s great to see these guys but sad at the same time we’ll never see them play again 😔
Football will never be the same without these two legendary quarterbacks. It truly was the Golden Era when they played.
Colts vs pats some of the best match ups ! Literally some of the best quarterback play !
Brady & manning goat’s 😢
GOATS wear Rings.
THE GOAT wears the most.
If you look at the hand shake they had at the end you will see all the respect they have for each other
Watching these two batlle it out was the most fun I have ever had watching football, period. Classic battles and both class acts.
Nice. I was one of those Pats fans in a Brady jersey. That trip out of Lucas Oil sucked lmao.
Its a new chapter in life for these guys. Same for us who grew up watching them. Football is harder to watch without ya Tom!
"7 Superbowl wins" Way to disrespect the guest and one of the all time great quarterbacks we ever saw
I love these two. The respect and admiration they have for each other is inspiring and peyton is the greatest ambassador for football. Their relationship is Magic/ Bird level two competitive rivals who actually needed each other and changed the game and in their retirement their friendship is palpable
We were so lucky to watch these two legendary QBs battle for so long. Man oh man do I miss those glory days.
As a Pats fan, Peyton gave me so much anxiety as a kid whenever the Patriots played the Colts. I don't think I ever hated Peyton, but man seeing the Colts on the schedule was like "Damn, not a comfortable win for the Pats", lol.
not even always a win
Whenever Peyton came into town it was a nail biter.
We knew it was going to be a war.
They brought out the best in each other.
That's why there is so much respect.
3-2 in head to head title games.
Yeah man there were some brutal Indi NE games. I love their respect for each other now.
what an absolute joy to watch these 2 QBs battle over the years - i remember thinking as their rivalry was coming to close how fortunate I and many others have been to see these two battle
We are so blessing to be able to watch two of the greatest to have play against each other. Many great memories and games . Thank you guys.
The Sheriff and the goat !! Dont get no better then this .
The Manning brothers tortured us Patriots fans for years they got 4 super bowls we should’ve won
y'all got 6 stop crying
And we should've won more. Stop crying. @@Thegod_of_memes
@@VodkaUSMC Nah 6 was plenty
I know really but glad brady got one of those super bowl screw ups back at tampa for his 7th. Specially against the chiefs reed and mahommee that one really set and end the debate. @@Thegod_of_memes
Big facts.
10:52 can you imagine being a HS wideout and running routes and catching balls from Tom and Peyton?!?!?!
Brady Vs Manning was such a treat to watch all those years. Thank you both.
Die Hard Colts fan and this is a really good interview❤❤
Dam that bout made me cry. Sad we don't get to see them on the field anymore but extremely grateful I had the opportunity. And I'm a Dallas Jacksonville fan. But to watch both of them on the field was a true pleasure.
It’s just so crazy that we got to watch the greatest qb of all time face off against arguably the second greatest qb of all time for 15 years. It was Jordan vs LeBraun every year, most of the time twice a year. And it was magical. ❤
Peyton 3-1 against Brady in the AFC Championship games
Those were great years watching those two no BS superstar quarterbacks going head to head!
I got to watch them play each other three times live in Denver. What a treat! What a great era to watch football!
Manning and Brady it doesn’t get any better than that.
Tom Brady is 1-5 against Peyton and Eli in the Super Bowl and AFC Championship Game and still has 7 super bowls.
As a Colts fan I hated Tom and the Patriots because of the rivalry but always respected the talent and the competition as well and it’s nice to be able to give him his flowers now that he’s not thrashing us in the playoffs anymore (we just need to get there again now)
Tom Brady The Champ The Man The Legend Oh Hell Yeah
Can you imagine being a high school player and getting to catch these two!
My buddy got to catch John Elway during a strike year and he said it was like trying to catch a bullet
Love how Tom admitted that early in his career, the team was led by defense
Brady vs Manning my favorite QB rivalry. Such fun matchups every game
Awwww...very sweet!! Buddies!! 😊
Trico is a great interviewer and orchestrater..3 legendary MEN😊 of sports
As a browns fan that’s exactly how feel about Peyton..he may not have the rings but him and Michael are two men who revolutionized the QB position
The great living legend's always great watching them play NFL football 🏈 All the best too you Tom and Payton . God bless you and your family's ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Two of the top 5 Qbs ever
1&2
@@kelvinmustafa2710 Ehh I'd have to put Joe Cool between them.
Period.
